đ¸Â Hi babes! I hope youâre having a great day. Today I bring you my TBR of the month of September, where I tell you about the readings that Iâve planned for this month. I’m super excited for this month I feel it will be super fun with the new experience of participating in a Read-A-Thon and I also feel super motivated to read, I think I’ll have time to do it which makes me very happy, my boyfriend is resuming his reading so that’s great since I can spend my time with him also reading a lit of bit, which I love doing, so I really don’t have excuses not to read as much as I want and finally knock out my TBR.
I’m going to use this month to read a lot because I know that I’ll be busy in October as I plan many renovations in my house, painting and that kind of thing and with work will be a bit crazy and I don’t know if I can read that much, but I’ll see how I manage. Meanwhile I’m really excited by my readings this month in general and I can’t wait to tell you the readings that I reserve for the Contemporary-A-Thon!
I’ll be reading a couple of books that I’ve wanted to read since ever, a re-reading, a couple of new releases, an ARC and something completely new for me, so without further ado let’s start!đ¸Â
Contemporary-A-Thon TBR đÂ
This Read-A-Thon is created by Chelsea (chelseadolling reads on Youtube) She’ll be uploading daily vlogs for the read-a-thon so itâs the perfect time to subscribe and enjoyđ Itâs going to be running from Sept. 17th through Sept. 23rd.

2. Read a dark/taboo/spooky contemporary
3. Read a diverse contemporary
4. Read a contemporary in a non-traditional format
5. Read a contemporary that has your initials somewhere on the cover
6. Read a contemporary from a new to you author
7. Read a contemporary that is a 5 star prediction
The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas
There are no more cheerleaders in the town of Sunnybrook.
First there was the car accidentâtwo girls gone after hitting a tree on a rainy night. Not long after, the murders happened. Those two girls were killed by the man next door. The police shot him, so no one will ever know why he did it. Monicaâs sister was the last cheerleader to die. After her suicide, Sunnybrook High disbanded the cheer squad. No one wanted to be reminded of the girls they lost.
That was five years ago. Now the faculty and students at Sunnybrook High want to remember the lost cheerleaders. But for Monica, itâs not that easy. She just wants to forget. Only, Monicaâs world is starting to unravel. There are the letters in her stepdadâs desk, an unearthed, years-old cell phone, a strange new friend at school. . . . Whatever happened five years ago isnât over. Some people in town know more than theyâre saying. And somehow Monica is at the center of it all.
There are no more cheerleaders in Sunnybrook, but that doesnât mean anyone else is safe.
This book fits in the challenge: 7– Read a contemporary that is a 5 star prediction. This is one of the books I had put on my 5 star prediction list, so it’s perfect for this challenge! & 2–Â Read a dark /taboo/spooky contemporary. It’s a Mystery/Thriller so I guess it fits.
I’m super excited to read this book I ADORED the author previous work, Little Monsters, so I have high expectations for this one
Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

Frances has always been a study machine with one goal, elite university. Nothing will stand in her way; not friends, not a guilty secret â not even the person she is on the inside.
But when Frances meets Aled, the shy genius behind her favourite podcast, she discovers a new freedom. He unlocks the door to Real Frances and for the first time she experiences true friendship, unafraid to be herself. Then the podcast goes viral and the fragile trust between them is broken.

She has to confess why Carys disappearedâŚ
Meanwhile at uni, Aled is alone, fighting even darker secrets.
Itâs only by facing up to your fears that you can overcome them. And itâs only by being your true self that you can find happiness.
Frances is going to need every bit of courage she has.
This book fits with the challenge: 5– Read a contemporary that has your initials somewhere on the cover & 6– Read a contemporary from a new to you author
I’ve heard only amazing things about this book so I’ve been wanting to read it for a long time and this is the perfect time, I can’t wait
Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour
A love letter to the craft and romance of film and fate in front ofâand behindâthe camera from the award-winning author of Hold Still.
A wunderkind young set designer, Emi has already started to find her way in the competitive Hollywood film world.
Emi is a film buff and a true romantic, but her real-life relationships are a mess. She has desperately gone back to the same girl too many times to mention. But then a mysterious letter from a silver screen legend leads Emi to Ava. Ava is unlike anyone Emi has ever met. She has a tumultuous, not-so-glamorous past, and lives an unconventional life. Sheâs enigmaticâŚ. Sheâs beautiful. And she is about to expand Emiâs understanding of family, acceptance, and true romance.
This book fits with the challenge: 3– Read a diverse contemporary
I love the author’s writing style, so I expect from this book an adorable love story
Giant Days, Vol.1 by John Allison
Susan, Esther, and Daisy started at university three weeks ago and became fast friends. Now, away from home for the first time, all three want to reinvent themselves. But in the face of handwringing boys, âpersonal experimentation,â influenza, mystery-mold, nu-chauvinism, and the willful, unwanted intrusion of âacademia,â they may be lucky just to make it to spring alive. Going off to university is always a time of change and growth, but for Esther, Susan, and Daisy, things are about to get a little weird.
This book fits the challenge: 4– Read a contemporary in a non-traditional format & 1– Read a contemporary with orange on the cover (This has some orange tones at the bottom so YEAH!)
I never read a graphic novel so this will be a completely new experience for me, but I’m excited, the graphics are beautiful and I can’t wait to try it!!
Well these are the 4 books that I’ve chosen to complete this challenge! I’m excited and kind of nervous but I think I can do it if I’m really try, wish me luck!đÂ
September TBRđÂ
These are the books I’ll be reading during the month, which are out of the Read-A-Thon
Finally reading it!
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #1) by Jenny Han
What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them⌠all at once?Â
Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They arenât love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones sheâs written. One for every boy sheâs ever lovedâfive in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jeanâs love life goes from imaginary to out of control.
Finally I’ll read this book!!!, I don’t know why it has taken me so long because I really love Jenny Han but well I guess the time has come. Also with all the hype that there’s around the movie I’ve felt more and more curious about this book and after reading it I’ll be able to watch the movie, I’m super excited about it. I feel like I’ll love it because the author’s writing style is beautiful
ARC of the Month

I’ll continue with my re-reading of this fantastic trilogy which I love, in preparation to finally read the fourth book, of which I’ve heard great things so I can’t wait !. Get myself into this world is always entertaining, loving the experience of re-reading my favorites so far
The book I really want to read this month is HP6 and Rich People Problems- it will be nice to have a progress in my reread and get a series off my list! When I read the prompt for dark/taboo love story, the first one that pops into my mind is Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, which is about incest. It can’t get darker and more taboo than that!

Yes!, Forbidden was also one that jumped into my mind but I’ve already read it, I think last year, a really hard story to read
I hope you can achieve your goal this month and even more important, enjoy your readings! đ

I know, right!, I think that for most of us, it was Netflix’s movie that prompted us to read it. I hope it’s as good as everyone say, although I know I’ll like it because I love Jenny Han đđ

TATBILB consumed my entire life in August. I had ignored it for so long and am so glad that some part of my brain refused to watch the film before I had read it! Also, I nearly picked up The Cheerleaders once when I was in a bookshop buying books that I really shouldn’t have been buying and was intrigued, would be interested to know what you thought of it!
