May Wrap Up & June TBR | My First Readathon of the Year, LGBTQ+ Books & Trying to Avoid a Reading Slump πŸ‚

πŸ‚ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! ❀️ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of May, plus: What I’m going to read in the month of June!. πŸ₯° Where has this month gone, guys? I feel like yesterday was the day I uploaded my previous Wrap Up and TBR, it’s crazy how fast this year is going by, really WOW, we have to know how to enjoy each day to the fullest. So I don’t have much to tell you about this month, I think that more than anything the things that are happening in my country have impacted me a bit, in general, I’m very positive about the world even though I’m also very aware of everything happening, I always try to put the best face to the situation, but this time it has touched me a little more since my country has returned to Phase one, I’m from Argentina, for those who don’t know yet, so, yeah, everything has returned to Phase one and having a commercial business right now is a new challenge that I’m facing πŸ˜”, but I know that soon we’ll come out of this all together and stronger, I always have a lot of faith and I hope that the new restrictions are for the better. πŸ’ͺ🏻

In the midst of all this that’s happening out in the world, I’ve been trying to read, but again I feel I haven’t read as much as I would have liked, even so, I’m happy because I know that I always give my best and I’m at this stage where I allow myself to rest and focus more on myself and it’s also important to remind ourselves that putting ourselves first is essential πŸ’ž, but I do want to share with you that by the end of the month I’ve been able to achieve a very good balance between blogging, reading and working, so I’m super happy on that side because they’re those little achievements that I always talk to you about and that mean a lot. πŸ˜„

I have very exciting plans for the month of June, I feel optimistic that I’ll be able to achieve each of my goals this time, so I’m dying to share a little with you. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» On the one hand, I’ve already thought of some blog posts, there’s a discussion one that has me super excited, where we’ll talk super honestly about blogging and our personal projects, but I also wanted to do something fun and original with respect to my list posts and recommendations, plus: maybe some book tags finally lol. On the other hand, I’ll be participating in the #LGBTQMonth which is a readathon hosting by Ross from Royal Bookshelf, he has created a super fun board to follow, where the main goal is, of course, to read books with characters or authors belonging to the LGBT+ community, so if you want to check it out, you should do it! you still have time to participate since this readathon lasts the whole month of June. πŸŒˆ This has me super excited, I’ve already planned an amazing and diverse stack that I’ll be sharing with you below. I was also looking forward to some readathon this month as I’ve been feeling a bit slumpy, so I think it can be an entertaining way to get back to my reading rhythm and stay on track. πŸ˜Š I also thought that it would be a good idea to re-read a favorite, so even though I’ll not be putting here the books that I possibly want to re-read, I’ll keep it in mind if I need it during the month and I’ll share it with you too, you know re-reading is for me THE PERFECT WAY to get out of a reading slump, so without a doubt it’s a possibility for me. πŸŒŸ

You Got This Just Do It GIF by Rosanna Pansino

As for my readings of the month, I’ve read 4 books, which is quite avarenge, not bad, and I’m glad to see that I’m always quite varied in terms of genres and even formats, so I like that cause allows me to share different aspects of each book with you & I’ve also enjoyed all of them which is always something to celebrate!!! πŸ₯³ Before starting with the post I want to thank you very deeply for the support and love in each comment and of course with each like and visit as in each shared post. πŸ₯Ί I appreciate so much that you’re there for me each month and I hope to be giving you back a little of the same, I LOVE YOU, you’re wonderful & without further ado, we all have a wonderful month ahead of us, so let’s start planning it together!!! LET’S GO!!! πŸ‚

April Wrap Up & May TBR | Getting Back into Reading | More 5-star Predictions, Exciting ARCs & Intense Storylines πŸ‚

πŸ‚ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! ❀️ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of April. April was a very positive month for me in terms of reading, I’m more than happy to tell you that I FINALLY started to accommodate my schedules a little better to actually be able to READ, so that has me extremely pleased.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» On the other hand, I still have to learn to manage my times to be able to bring you more content, or at least other types of posts, I don’t want to fall into always bringing you the same things, you know? πŸ’» So I’m working on it, but still super grateful to be able to continue maintaining this space that I love so much, and have your support that simply means the world to me, so thank you, friends! πŸ₯Ί

In other news, my business is doing very well luckily so that’s always something to celebrate, and also I’m super excited because there’s almost nothing left for the 6k followers on the blog! like…WHAT!!! πŸŽ‰ I can’t believe it, I don’t deserve you, I’ve been blessed with all of you, it makes me happy that there are still people who want to be part of this small family, I love you so much!! 😭😭😭 So, well enough fangirling over you all for a second lol cause, I also want to share with you that I’ve started to watch Anime for the first time in my life, my brothers are obsessed, so they insisted that I should try so here I am, I finally did it and I’m really enjoying the experience, so let’s see how that go.πŸ’ͺ🏻 Also I started watching Doctor Who again because I have no control I love that series, so I started watching it from scratch and it’s ALL I need. β˜„οΈ PS: I’m watching SHADOW & BONE! 🦌 And loving it, my heart cannot with the perfection of the characters, I haven’t finished it yet, so I’ll tell you more once I do it, for now, I want to say that it’s an excellent job what they’ve done with this adaptation, I’m loving it. 😍

Now having shared a little with you about what I’ve been doing in April, I want to tell you my plans for the month of May, which aren’t really many, is mainly to upload a little more content to the blog πŸ”₯, but I wouldn’t like to slow down my pace of reading so I’ll be focusing a lot on that, plus I’ll keep checking blogs and supporting your content, so expect to see a bit of me on your blog if you have one during this month too. ✨

Now, we go directly to what concerns us today, HAVE I READ SOMETHING DURING THE MONTH OF APRIL? YES, I have read! *celebration dance* πŸ’ƒ I’ve read 5 books, and I know it doesn’t sound like much compared to other bookish people, but it has been a great achievement for me coming from quite busy months, I finally feel that during the last two months I’ve been able to go back a little to my normality by reading a little more 😊 and also, always super positive, I’ve enjoyed each of my readings this month, which is incredible, not only that, but I really don’t think I’ve read a single bad book this month, so that’s great, really.πŸ‘πŸ» I’ve read a couple of spooky books with dark themes, and more intense atmospheres, but on the other hand, I’ve also given the chance to a super light reading that has surprised me for good. I read all my ARCs of the month (YAY!), I’ve also finished a series that I adore, and finally, I’ve read one of my 5-star predictions, which I’ll tell you more about below (I still plan to make a separate post about my 5 stars predictions for being more specific about it) πŸ₯° Super excited to share with you my thoughts about all these books, I know that there are many reviews that I still have to write, but I promise that it’s something I will do soon, I’m thinking of a new format of quick reviews to be able to get up to date, but always as the main point to give you as much info as possible and all my thoughts. Thanks again, for EVERYTHING! I LOVE you and I wish you only happiness 😘, now without further ado, because Sofi LOVES to talk apparently, lol … LET’S START!! πŸ‚

March Wrap Up & April TBR | I Finally Read SOME BOOKS! | Mini-Spooky Book List & Some 5-star Predictions πŸ‚

πŸ‚ Hi, guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & incredible moments!! ❀️ SO happy to have a moment to be able to share with you everything that I’ve been reading in the month of March plus, everything that I plan and will try to read during this month of April. 🌟 Every time I have the chance to sit down to write a post this year it’s like a double blessing since I don’t have much time on my hands, so I’m really happy to be here guys, as always! So this month has been super positive for me in terms of reading, but we will talk about it a little later, now I wanted to take the space to thank you for the support you have given me as a person and also to the blog this month, it means a lot. Especially with respect to my “DEFINITIVE BOOK BLOGGER LIST which I must say I’m very proud of, I think tourn out beautiful and also quite organized which I intended, also I’m very pleased that more of you can interact and support each other thanks to this list, and also share each other contents, give likes, and comment, I think that after all the controversy that has occurred recently regarding how little we are valued as book bloggers in the bookish community in general, we need more love πŸ₯°, so this has been the perfect time to publish the list and thus show my support and be able to amplify our voices in some way, I know that we’re brilliant, we’re valuable and we do incredible and hard work with our contents so without a doubt, we deserve better and don’t let anyone make you think otherwise.  πŸ‘πŸ»

We Got This Confidence GIF by The Bachelor - Find & Share on GIPHY

In terms of reading this March has been great! πŸ˜„ in fact much better than my previous months, maybe it doesn’t seem that I read SO MUCH to you but I did, in fact, I’ve read 5 books last month, most of them good but not impressive books, only one of them has really managed to conquer me completely, but I’m super excited to share my thoughts with you on each of these books. 😊 Some of them with dark tones, with a bit of mystery, on the other hand, a bit of magic in contemporary stories, which I usually enjoy a lot, and finally a few paranormal elements, as well. I really feel super proud to have been able to read more than two books lol, it’s a great achievement so let’s celebrate together!! πŸŽ‰ I hope to read even more, though, in April *fingers crossed*

Before continuing I wanted to apologize because I know that I’m super late with my reviews of these books, some I’ve already reviewed, but I still need to review most of them, so I’m sorry, I tend to be very punctual with my reviews but that’s fine, life is like that now, and soon I’ll bring you some double reviews maybe and a full one for my favorite book of the month. So I’ll probably be brief here because I want to leave some of my feelings & thoughts for the reviews.❀️

For this month my plans are basically reading πŸ˜‚Β , aren’t those our plans every month, thought?! SHOCK! but not, seriously, I want to read, I’m feeling more and more eager to dedicate more time to my reading, and feeling that motivation again makes me happy, so I’ll take advantage of it while it lastsΒ πŸ€“. I’ll surely be starting a new series, reading some ARCs as always & especially with the cold weather coming to my city hand in hand with autumn, I feel ready to read some spooky/creepy or perhaps suspense/mystery kind of books, something with a weird and atmospheric vibe. 🌲 So I’ll have a mini list to share with you, in addition to that within that list, I’ll be including some of my 5-star predictions to make it more fun. So I hope this is a very good month for EVERYONE & without further ado, I LOVE YOU ❀️, I hope you enjoy the post, let me know everything in the comments, and LET’S GET STARTED!Β πŸ‚

February Wrap Up & March TBR | The Month Where I Challenge Myself to Read More! β˜€οΈ

β˜€οΈΒ Hi, guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & incredible moments!! ❀️ SO happy to have a moment to be able to share with you everything that I’ve been reading in the month of February plus, everything that I plan and will try to read during this month of March. 🌟  I feel super excited to share another post with you this week, I know I’ve been the worst book blogger this year so far lol, I have no time for anything other than to dedicate myself to my business, and I really feel blessed by the opportunities I’m having in my personal life and the growth of my business is wonderful, I’m very happy with that, guys, but I still feel a little guilty at times for not being able to give you all the content and all the posts that I would like, so I’M SO SORRY! You know that I always think about my blog and you’re wonderful people, so I’ll always return here, which is my safe and favorite place in the world.Β πŸ₯°Β So, my loves, I’ll not be able to upload posts as much as usual but on my days off I’ll be here bringing you new and I hope, fun bookish content, so that we can both enjoy.Β πŸ₯Ί

I had a very nice birthday, working, but at the same time I went to dinner with my loved ones and read ALL your beautiful comments, I haven’t had time to answer them yet, but I plan to do it very soon, I LOVE to see you’re there for me and your words made my day even better.Β πŸ₯³ I have to tell you I’m SO excited about Shadow & Bone’s trailer 🦌, GUYS!!! I’m freaking out! I can’t wait to watch the series, I was so afraid that was kind of cheap, you know? but after seeing that trailer fragment… I’m in shock, I didn’t think it looked SO SPECTACULAR, and now I’m even more excited, I think the characters are perfect and the scenes are just as I imagined them. 😭  WHAT A GOOD TIME TO BE A GRISHA WORLD FAN!! PS: Have you seen Ben Barnes as The Darkling? SO GOOD!! & OMG, Jessie is the perfect Alina as much as Freddy is the perfect Kaz, and I won’t even mention how perfect Amita is as Inej!! my favorite characters looking beautiful! πŸ’•

In other news, besides being absolutely excited about the Shadow & Bone TV series, I’ve also read a little, I haven’t even come close to reading what I wanted, but hey, I’m not going to complain anymore, at least I’ve read something, right? And that’s already good, also both readings have been very beautiful and have had precious messages that I’m dying to share with you. As you know, I’m trying to get used to my new schedules, so I knew it would take me a while, but also I blame my glasses this timeπŸ˜…, it turns out that they broke and I was devastated because reading is very difficult for me without them, I don’t have a lot of magnification on my glasses, but they’re perfect for reading without my head starting to hurt, you know? So it was a difficult thing to do, even when I had a little time. SO SO SO… My beautiful boyfriend gave me an INCREDIBLE pair of gold glasses for my birthday, so now I just have to go to the doctor, make new glasses for them, and then I’ll be ready to read a little more this month! YAY!! 😍😍 Do you wear reading glasses? Tell me, I’m interested in knowing.

I realized that the best way to organize myself this month is in fact to set small goals to achieve and thus be able to read more, also other things like visiting more blogs, answering comments, and that kind of thing. I’ll try to make my goals privately, which means, I’ll not share them here, I’ll do an experiment to see how it goes and if this new system works for me, then I’ll be sharing it with you, of course, so maybe you can also implement it in your days.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β  I want to THANK YOU very much for your support with my discussion post, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE writing them, makes me happy and gives me a lot of gratification to share with you and to exchange experiences, so THANK YOU, really, for trusting me and, for your beautiful and encouraging comments.❀️❀️
So, not to make this introduction longer, as I always do lol,
my reading plan for the month is basically very similar to the previous one, but I’ll add a couple more books replacing the books that I already read, I’m sorry if I’m repetitive, but I really want to read these books that I couldn’t read in February, so let’s do this! 🀩 I’m excited to share it with you & that you share with me your plans for this month too. I love you deeply, you’re extremely valuable, always remember that 🌹 & without further ado, let’s get started! β˜€οΈΒ

β˜€οΈ Hi, guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & incredible moments!! ❀️ SO happy to have a moment to be able to share with you everything that I’ve been reading in the month of January plus, everything that I plan and will try to read during this month of February. πŸ˜ I feel really blessed to have you there on the other side, you know that I’m very grateful for your love and support always always always, so thank you SO much for being there in each post. πŸ’ž Today, as I said, I’ll be sharing my past and future readings with you!! You know that this year has started differently for me, I don’t have much time on my hands like before because not only I’m working on my current job, but I’m also spending a lot of time dedicated to a very special project that I’m creating together with my boyfriend, of which I hope to share more with you in future posts. Even so, and with all this happening in my day to day, I had to admit that I feel more than happy to be able to have moments like this one, where I can dedicate a few hours to my blog, and somehow this has made it feel more special for me, now I value more this place and the time that I dedicate to it is very treasured for me. πŸ₯Ίβœ¨ I’ve been trying to catch up with your posts, so I hope you’re feeling the love, soon I’ll be bringing some surprises to further support this community that I love so much.
The conclusion and the message I want to give for this month is:
CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU LOVE NO MATTER WHAT!! πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ»

You Can Do It Cat GIF by Chibird

As for my readings, I’ve read a little more than December during the month of January, which doesn’t mean that I’ve read a lot really, but I’ve done a better job, and I celebrate that! πŸ™ŒπŸ» I’m very excited because I’ve been trying more the audiobook format and it’s working wonderfully in those moments when I cannot read physically & also I’ve finished a trilogy that will remain forever in my heart. Plus, I’ve read a couple of ARCs that I’m very interested in talking to you about. In terms of reading quality, I think it has been a pretty average month, although I did enjoy a couple of these books, most of them have been something “meh” but well talk more about it later. πŸ˜Š

So, what do I plan to read during the month of February? Well, this month is special because it’s my birthday month, I’m turning 27 on the 22nd, so as a gift for myself I decided that I’ll be prioritizing my 5-star predictions, this means that I’m determined to find a 5-star book this month πŸ€©, and for that, I’ll be checking some lists I’ve made through time, of books that I think I’ll love, but I’ll also add some new releases from this year or last year that I think I’ll totally love to make it more fun. To be more honest with myself, I don’t expect to read each one of the books that I’ll put in my TBR, but they’ll be what I prioritize reading during the month, you know?. πŸ˜„ I hope this makes sense to you, and most of all, I hope you feel as excited as I am by all the fantastic books that I’ll include in the list. πŸ˜

I LOVE you, you’re incredible for just being here ❀️  & Without further ado, I hope you decide to stay with me during this post full of incredible books, so prepare coffee or a tea, and make yourself comfortable … because we start right now!! β˜€οΈ

November Wrap Up | A Challenging Month: NaNoWriMo & Catching up with ARCs πŸŒ»

🌻 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❀️Today I bring you a new post… my November Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. This month was a challenge for me, I think it’s the first time that I put myself to the test in this way so demandingly. I can say that I’m proud of myself for having been able to do SO much during this month, on the other hand, I’m exhausted so it would be good for me to relax a little during the next month, I deserve it.Β πŸ₯ΊΒ πŸ₯ΊΒ
Well, to keep you updated on what I’ve been doing in the month of November, to begin with, I’ve been participating in
NaNoWriMo for the first time, and it has been an absolutely enriching experience of learning and growth for me as a writer, which I appreciate very much. 😊 I’m more than happy to have participated, but I did realize how demanding it could be, so that’s why I made the decision to abandon it after the third week, I told you a little about it in my NaNo update, but in summary, I felt that I was being too much for me, I felt mentally and physically exhausted and I didn’t want to write anything just to reach a “goal”, you know? so I made that decision and although it was difficult at the same time I know that it was the best for me and today I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished. I wrote 30k words and that’s just INCREDIBLE for me, so I haven’t regret, contrarily, I celebrate that great achievement.Β πŸ₯³Β

Besides having been writing a lot and having focused 100% on my WIP also magically and I still don’t know how, I’ve been able to read ALL, yes, you read correctly, ALL the ARCs that I planned to read this month 🀩, I can’t believe I do it, but I’ve had the incredible luck to have quite short books and also super easy to read, I enjoyed them a lot so I’m really happy to have been able to read a lot this month too, which was not my main goal, but… YAY!Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β
I’ve read a lot of high-impact fantasy, a bit of sci-fi & a long-awaited mystery book that paid off. So, super happy and excited to come with good news and been able to recommend several books.
Β πŸ₯°Β

Before starting I want to share with you that I’ll be taking this week off, if you’ve followed me for a while you know that every year I take a week of mini-vacations to take care of myself and visit my family, and that kind of thing, so I’ll be gone since December 1st and I’ll return on Monday 7th and the second week of December will be normal as usual.Β πŸ’• I usually take weeks off in November but this time I decided to change things up a bit. I think it would be healthy for me to get away a little and I‘ll return with a lot of energy as usual to bring you the best of me.Β πŸ’«
I also wanted to mention that I know that I haven’t been checking other blogs and I’m also super late with the comments, so I’m very sorry, really the month of November has been crazy for me 😭,
I’ve been extremely busy and I haven’t been able to do my beloved blog hopping, but I hope to change that soon and will be checking your beautiful and wonderful blogs as always. 😍 😍 😍
You know that I’m still here for you always, love you, I’m deeply grateful for all the love and the nice comments, THANK YOU SO MUCH!Β πŸ’• So, I’ll be back soon, when you’re reading this I’m probably already on my break, but I still wanted to mention it.
You’ll have posts anyway all the week, so you won’t feel my absence, but I’ll probably be answering comments when I get back and doing a massive blog hopping of thanks.

Now, without further ado, I’m excited to share with you everything I’ve read in the month of November, so I hope you decide to stay. Let’s get started! 🌻

October Wrap Up | A Month Full of Spooky & Amazing Readings πŸŽƒ

πŸŽƒ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new post… my October Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I’m super happy to have shared the month of October with you and besides, being here to share everything about my readings, you know that I LOVE horror, so I had a really fun month, watching a lot of horror movies and reading some pretty creepy stuff, and, in general, I’m quite happy with what I’ve been able to do during the month. πŸ˜Š In my personal life, it has been my mother’s birthday, and being able to spend it with her despite everything that’s happening in the world has been a blessing, always keeping in mind how lucky I’m to have my family close and to be able to visit them more often, that has really brought me very nice energy to my month, I’ve also resumed my morning walks πŸ‘πŸ», now that everything is a little calmer the activities are being regulated better in my province, so I’ve had a little more freedom, always using a facemask, guys, super important, let’s take care of each other! So it has been a beautiful month, I’m also planning and working a little on my WIP, but I’ll start writing as such in November, like many of us I’ll be participating in Nanowrimo and super excited about it, because it will be my first time so we’ll see, maybe I’ll be sharing a bit of that with you next month. πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί

Of course, I want to thank you for all the support and love you’ve given me and my blog this month, it has been wonderful and it’s always a great blessing to see all those comments and likes and visits, at the end of the day to think that so many people have been taking their time to interact with me really means a lot, so thank you, my friends, you’re wonderful & I’m here super excited for another month together! πŸ’ž

via GIFER | Halloween tumblr, Ghost drawing, Halloween doodle

Now about my reading month, I think I would have liked to do better and maybe read one more book, but most of myself is like super happy with what I’ve achieved, during the previous month I’ve reached a much-needed harmony about how I manage my time and being kind to myself has been first, I’m very happy to have so many passions and reading, regardless of the number of books, it will always be one of them, so I’m truly happy for each book I read. πŸ₯°
I’ve participated in two readathons this month, one of them is
Hocus Pocus Readathon & the other is Gothtober Readathon, if you want to know more about them you can check my October TBR. I’ve had a lot of fun with both, I’ve combined several of my readings to make it easier for myself and I double up some challenges and promps, so I’ve done quite well in both. πŸ™ŒπŸ» I think the positive of any readathon is feeling motivated to read and feel that emotion, you know? so super accomplished! πŸ₯³
What I’m most excited about my readings this month is that everything I’ve read I’ve enjoyed, I didn’t have a single bad reading this month, which is INCREDIBLE πŸ˜, you know that I’m quite picky with the books I read, so it’s a pleasant surprise.
I had a couple of readings that surprised me a lot, giving me much more than I expected from them. I’ve had another couple of readings with very shocking, intense, and interesting stories & Others spooky but adorable with incredible characters.
 πŸ‘»

So, sorry to make my introduction always so long, don’t hate me πŸ˜‚, & without further ado, let’s get started, I’m excited to share my readings with you! πŸŽƒ

September Wrap Up | Latinx Book Bingo, Unexpected Reads & Unpopular Opinions πŸŒ»

πŸŒ» Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new post… my September Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I’m quite pleased with my reading month, I think I could read a lot of what I expected and that makes me very happy, but also I’ve felt very relaxed in terms of my life as a reader, you know? I think I’ve learned to balance a bit my “normal life” with my “life as a reader” without stressing so much about it and that has been something very positive this month. πŸ₯° I found myself enjoying most of my readings as well, and with that extra non-pressure feeling that I’ve been having, it was even a more enjoyable experience that I hope to take with me into October, which will be a pretty ambitious month for me. πŸŽƒ Still, I want to continue to feel relaxed and read just when I feel like it, and know that it’s okay if I read 4, 5, or 6 books a month, that that’s wonderful and I don’t have to push myself to read more. So in summary, I think I have had a month quite in tune and in harmony with myself, accepting myself with all and failures, knowing that it’s okay if I want to do things that don’t have to do with reading, and basically be at peace with the blogging process as well πŸ˜Š. I think that if it’s something that interests you, I could talk more in another post about the balance between daily life, blogging, and reading, I think it’s something interesting to discuss.

As I always do, I want to thank you immensely for the support and love you have towards me and towards the blog, I love you deeply, you know that and I know how lucky I’m to have each one of you commenting and liking my posts, I always feel all that lovely energy and it makes me SO happy. I want to say thank you again, for having voted for me in this 2020 Book Blogging Awards, because I’ve won for Best Recommendations 🎊 and I still cannot believe it, it’s such a great honor, YOU’RE INCREDIBLE & thank you SO SO much! ❀️❀️❀️
In other news, but not least, I’ve changed many things on the blog, as you can see, and
I want to thank you for your words of support and love towards those changes πŸ₯Ί, I know that I’m not a graphic designer and there’s much that I still have to learn, but I’m happy with the changes, I’m about to celebrate 4 years with the blog and I already felt like changing a little to attract new energy of love and creation. I’m very excited about this new stage and I hope that you’re there to live it together.

So, going a little more specifically to my readings this month, it has been a very positive month.
I’ve participated in the Latinx Book Bingo, but I decide to do it something different and just focus on a stack of books all by Latinx authors and try to read as much as possible, obviously, it was too much and I knew that, so I didn’t get to read the vast majority, BUT I’m still happy because
almost all my readings of the month were by Latinx authors so YAY! πŸ˜
I‘ve even participated in a couple of blog tours that I’m very proud of because I’ve adored both Latinx authors releases, both super important readings, I’ll tell you more later. πŸ˜Š
I was also looking forward to catching up on a well-known trilogy of which I had an ARC from the second book, and
I have unpopular thoughts about it πŸ™„, so you should stick around to find out, but yeah, I was just hoping for a little more from them.
Then I encouraged myself to read a bit of contemporary and especially romance, which isn’t my genre at all, but I’m glad to be giving it another chance. Spring started where I live, so I thought it would be a good time to get out of my comfort zone.
And I also read a book with a lot of hype, and you know that always terrifies me, but I think this time it was worth it,
I loved it and it has that horror/gothic touch that I had not read for a long time. πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ»

So, as you can see, I have a lot that I want to talk to you about, so without further ado, make yourself comfortable, I hope you enjoy & let’s get started! πŸŒ»

August Wrap Up | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Goodbye Reading Slump β„️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new post… my August Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. At last, guys, I can come with good news about my reading because August was the month where I was finally able to defeat my Reading Slump and I was able to enjoy the reading process without any problems, so I’m very happy and excited for the months to come! πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ» I think July was the month where I was trying to get out of my reading slump, but August is the month where I finally felt like I was able to really do it. Therefore and thanks to this, my month has been incredible in terms of readings and I’ve quite enjoyed most of the books I’ve read which is even better, in fact, I’ve given my second 5 stars of the year, this it’s not a drill!, and I’m super excited to tell you everything about it. πŸ˜Š

This August I’ve participated in two “challenges” the first has been ARC August which is all about, as its name suggests, about reading ARCs and getting up to date with them, and I think I’ve done a pretty good job with this one, I haven’t read every ARC that I had on my list, but I do have read I think half of them, which is already quite positive & on the other hand, I’ve participated in Latinx Readathon, which is an incredible Readathon where we have a Bingo Board and we must read each book by Latinx authors for each promp (you can find more information about it HERE) and as I completely loved the idea, I wanted to support it by participating and I completed my personal challenge with this one, which was completing a bingo line… so YAY! Besides this, I enjoyed every book I read and that makes me very happy. πŸ₯³

Besides that it has been a great month in terms of my readings, I want to take a moment as always, to thank the beautiful support that each of you gives me every day and every month with my blog. It’s a blessing to have this space and also that my works are respected means a lot, so THANK YOU SO MUCH, Amores, I’ve had the chance to meet new incredible bookish people in August, and that’s really exciting, so I look forward to a September full of love and full of support. πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί

So, going into more detail about my readings this month, we have a great variety that has even inspired me to create new challenges to try in the future and share it with you here on the blog. πŸ˜
First, we have some ARCs that I really liked,
two of them are incredible fantasy/paranormal sequels where both stories evolve a lot & the other ARC was a sad disappointment, a great promise but a poor execution.
Then we have three wonderful Latinx books that I’ve loved,
one of them is a romantic and super light short novel, the other is a shocking and raw anthology that will make you think & finally my new 5 stars: an absolutely meaningful story about how to forgive and move on.
Then I was also able to finish a book that I had been reading since July and I really enjoyed that one, a brilliant and gloomy plot & I also chose one of the books from my “Back-Up Pile”, which
was another sequel that I was dying to read and I ended up adoring it.

So without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED! I’m super excited to share with you all my thoughts about each of these books & I hope you enjoy it. ❄️
