💀 Hi, friends! How are you today? I hope you’re having a wonderful day and an a even better month surrounded by the best and spookiest reads! 🖤 Today I’m super excited because I’m bringing you the third part of my spooky post series for October, where I’ll be sharing with you 20 creepy titles in the adult genre. 🌙 Before I start, I obviously want to thank you with all my heart for the support to the blog during this month, I really appreciate every single person who reads my content, likes and comments, you guys are awesome! 🤩 In today’s post, as in the previous ones, I’ll be sharing in no particular order 20 books that I have recompiled within the adult horror genre 🔥, this as always will be divided into two categories, on the one hand, I have books that I recommend for this season because I have mostly heard the most amazing things about them☠️ , and on the other hand, a second part below, with the new releases of this 2021 within the same genre☠️ . This way I hope you can have a more varied list of books to choose from to add to your spooky TBR and maybe read during this season. Of course, I also hope that this is a positive way to promote the realeses of these books and their authors.
🌙 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! ❤️ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of September, plus: What I’m going to read in the month of October!. I’m back babies! I’ve missed you SO MUCH 🥺, and I’m super excited to be back after these two super necessary weeks off, where I’ve taken a total break from all kinds of social media and even of my own phone, I know that doing this always recharges me to come back to my routine a little more positive and with better energy.⚡️ So obviously, I hope you all have had the best weeks and overall a great September, which by the way, where did it go? it has flown by for me! Feel free to share with me everything you’ve been doing & reading during the month, I’m really dying to know and chat with you about it. 🥰 I don’t want to bore you with facts about my personal life so I’ll be brief, I’ve been basically visiting family, and since most of them live in rural areas or far away in the countryside, I’ve been in contact with nature which I love 🌳 & on the other hand, I’ve made a really important and huge purchase together with my boyfriend, and I’m very excited to tell you about it, and that’s that I’ve bought my first PC GAMER!!!! 😭 😭 I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this ever here, but I love playing videogames, so I’m super excited to finally have a better setting where to play and spend time, also obviously this computer is like a thousand times better than my laptop, so I can possibly generate more content for the blog, since it works faster and has a better system, so it’s something super positive and a treat that we deserved to have in our lives.
As for reading I’m sorry to tell you that I’ll have to disappoint you a bit because I haven’t read anything these past weeks 😕, I haven’t really had the chance and have decided to just take a reading break as well, but I did read one book before I left, and I liked it, and I’m in the middle of a reread which I’ll tell you more about it later. 👍🏻 Having a book blog and saying you didn’t read always feels a little embarrassing, but it’s also nice because I’m glad I can admit when I don’t feel like reading and tell you guys it’s ok if that happens to you too, we’re human and sometimes we can’t do everything, right? 💞 But all this has a bright side because now I feel ready to read, read and read this October which, if you follow the blog for a while you already know is my favorite month to read spooky books, actually it’s more like an excuse where I have a reason to read them because I LOVE those kind of horror genres, or dark plots, and all that cool stuff! 👻 👻 👻 Sometimes I hate that I have to live in this hemisphere because it’s spring, and it doesn’t fit at all with what creepy season represents but well, I’ll work with what I have like every year 😂, I’ll read creepy stuff surrounded by flowers, and that’s fine with me! 🌺
As I always like to do, I want to take a little paragraph to thank you guys for the love and support you always have for me and the blog, you know that this space is more than important to me and having you in every post there for me means the world, these connections that we create will always be in my heart and to think that I am at least a small part of someone’s life out there feels beautiful. Thank you SO SO much for these almost 5 years living this experience with me. 😍
A little preview of what I want to do for the blog this month 😊, is that besides all the spooky themed posts, which will have among them recommendations and tops, I’ll also be introducing a new much more relaxed section where we’ll talk about books (I mean… unexpected.) and I also have a super fun but creppy post in mind that will involve over 30 books!!! 🙌🏻 I hope you decide to stay and share this month with me and I hope you enjoy today’s post, where of course, I’ll be sharing more than anything a huge stack with those possible books I’ll be reading in October, all of them or at least most of them, with dark themes, of course!🌘 Now without further ado, make yourself something nice to drink and let’s get started! 🌙
🌘 Hi, friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best readings.❤️ Today I’m super excited because I bring you a post that I’ve been wanting to do for a couple of weeks, I thought it would be fun to share with you my favorite books with the strangest and most peculiar plots.👏🏻 If you follow my blog for a while you already know that I adore rare books that come out of the box and dare to do something new and innovative with their plots, especially I LOVE when mundane or everyday life is mixed with paranormal, strange elements, or magic, as well as I love plots that focus a little on giving life to their characters and settings, taking the time to develop them in an atmospheric and addictive way, but never leaving aside that strange and kind of dark vibe that pushes you to keep reading to know what will happen. 😍 These are the types of books that are 100% for me, that’s why in this post I wanted to bring them all here together to share them with you.
I know that this type of book will not be for everyone, and that’s fine, I like to bring you particular and different things so that we can also share our experiences and thoughts, so if it isn’t for you, that’s super valid too, let me know all in the comments. 😊 So, as I was saying, this time it will be all about atmospheric, dark, and kind of twisted books at times, without a doubt, they all have the same characteristic that they’re all dark and involve a bit of the horror genre at times in different measures. 🌲 But they’re all highly addictive books with unexpected twists and gripping mysterious plots, so I highly recommend them if these are factors that resonate with you. 🌟 In addition, I’ve also decided to include some books with these characteristics that I haven’t read yet, but they’re in my TBR so you can have more options and also add them to your TBR if you want. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this post very much, have an entertaining moment & LET’S GET STARTED! 🌘
🦇 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful and spooky day, enjoying all your readings.❤️ Today I’m back with the second part of my series of posts where I’ll be sharing with you some lists and recommendations of spooky books so that you can add to your TBR and maybe read at some point!😍I’m SO excited to share the horror season with you, you know that I LOVE everything that has to do with horror, so it’s a pleasure for me to be putting together these lists full of interesting books for you.
This time I’ve decided to bring you a list that I’ve made for myself where I’ll share with you 16 new horror releases of this 2020 so you can have more options and add some to your TBR! 👻 For this list of books, I’ve decided to leave out those that I always talk about, because in this post series I’m trying to be creative and not repeat the same books over and over again, and also to be able to bring you more updated content so we can enjoy together. The books on the list are releases that I’ve hardly mentioned on my blog yet, but I still find them super interesting either because of their synopsis, the titles, the cover, or what I’ve heard about them 👏🏻 (as always the books will not be placed in any kind of special order). I hope it’s something you enjoy, thank you SO much for your support with this mini-series for October, I love you, you’re incredible, I hope you’re having an incredible spooky month 🥰 & without further ado, let’s get started! 🦇
☀️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & amazing moments.❤️ Super excited for today’s post, this is a series of super chill posts that I’ll be bringing you every Sunday! 🥳 These will be our “Colorful Bookish Sundays” and it will be, basically, to organize my priority list, choosing some books from my Goodreads TBR to add to my list which I’ll check every month when creating my monthly TBRs, that way I hope to start reading those books that I’m most excited about, so they don’t end up in my TBR for years as many of them are already doing 😅
I’m looking to give to this post series a fun and relaxed look, so I decided to show you a specific color every Sunday, I LOVE some good beautiful covers and even more when there’s a beautiful color palette in them, so I think it could be interesting organize them by color, chat a little about them, and as always try to organize myself better with my books and my future readings 😍 & you can know what color we’ll play every Sunday based on the icon that will accompany the title, but I’ll also let you know below.
The dynamic will be to show you the selected books and then separate them by categories to finally make a decision of which one/ones will be my choice to add to my list of priorities and obviously, I would love to know what you think about them! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
I’m SO happy to bring you posts on Sundays again, it seems like a fun idea and hopefully, it will be entertaining for both you and me. 🥺 I hope you like it, I know it sounds weird now and you’re probably thinking “Sofi, what are you doing?” but I promise I’ll do my best. I LOVE YOU ❤️, thanks for the constant support, it means a lot to me, so now get comfortable, prepare your favorite drink and let’s start! ☀️
🌒 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, surrounded by AMAZING readings.❤️ Today I’m more than excited because as you’ll see from the title I’ll be sharing with you the most spooky books of my TBR, that could become possible readings for Halloween season in October!I know you’re probably thinking “Sofi, it’s August, are you okay?” lol and YES, I KNOW! 😅 But I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I want to read that kind of spooky, creepy, atmospherically engaging plotline. So I thought, even though it’s August and October is still a little while away, it would be fun to gather my possible readings for Halloween and, by the way, know your opinions on each book on my list and thus be able to create a scary stack to read in the future. 😍 Also, of course, I’d love to hear your spooky recommendations for me, as I’m ready to add them all to my TBR.
When I have in mind reading something spooky in general I think of a spooky atmosphere that keeps you on the edge of the seat wanting to know what will happen, I also love anything that has to do with witches, it’s my jam & of course, weird and dark plots. So you’ll find a bit of all of that on my list today. 😊
I hope you like the idea, that you can enjoy the post, and that you especially find new readings for your own TBR! 🙌🏻 You know that I would love to know everything you think in the comments, it will be a lot of fun, so let’s START! 🌒 Read More »
