☘️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day surrounded by amazing readings ❤️
Before saying anything, I really want to thank from the bottom of my heart those sweet and wonderful people who have communicated with me to wish to my mother a good recovery, for those who don’t know she has had to undergo surgery to remove a fibroid in her womb, but 3 days later she’s already at home and although a little sore (which is normal) she’s doing really well, I’m SO proud of her. So, thank you SO SO much for your support and your beautiful messages, it means a lot to me, they arrived at a time when I needed them a lot. 🥰
So, why are we here today? Well, I’ve been thinking about those books that despite having several strong points and an original plot, I never talk about for being in that average scale of 3 stars, this is why I thought about creating this post, where I’ll be showing you a top 5 of my favorite 3 stars. 😊 This means that I’ll be sharing with you those books that although I didn’t finish loving them or enjoying them with such intensity, I still think they’re good books with solid stories that many of you could enjoy and I’m very excited to talk a little about each one.I’ll be highlighting their strengths, as well as their weakness and in case you’re interested, I’ll also leave a link to my full reviews, so you can know my complete thoughts about them. 👏🏻 I hope you enjoy it A LOT and let me know everything in the comments, let’s start!☘️ Read More »
🌸 Hi Guys!, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, today I’ll share with you my July Wrap Up, where I tell you about the books that I’ve read during the month. I’m pretty comfortable with the amount of books I’ve read this month, especially since it’s what I usually read and I feel good about it, even so I hope I can read a little more next month.
Like every month I love to remind you that I love being here sharing this space with you, my 2 year blog anniversary is so close, so it makes me a bit nostalgic, I guess, but yes, super happy of the people I’ve met and everything I’ve learned. Really grateful.
Returning to our wrap up, I read 5 books this month and sadly, but for now, I didn’t finish one. I can safely say that it was a magical month, since absolutely all my readings have this main element that is magic, and you know that I love that aspect so I’m happy for it. Beside, I haven’t had any reading below the 3 stars, so I consider it a month of very good readings in general!. I hope everyone had an incredible month of reading🌸
I don’t want to delay this anymore so let’s get started!💕 Read More »
A magical debut novel for readers of Naomi Novik’s Uprooted, Erin Morgenstern’s The Night Circus, and Neil Gaiman’s myth-rich fantasies, The Bear and the Nightingale spins an irresistible spell as it announces the arrival of a singular talent with a gorgeous voice.
At the edge of the Russian wilderness, winter lasts most of the year and the snowdrifts grow taller than houses. But Vasilisa doesn’t mind–she spends the winter nights huddled around the embers of a fire with her beloved siblings, listening to her nurse’s fairy tales. Above all, she loves the chilling story of Frost, the blue-eyed winter demon, who appears in the frigid night to claim unwary souls. Wise Russians fear him, her nurse says, and honor the spirits of house and yard and forest that protect their homes from evil.
After Vasilisa’s mother dies, her father goes to Moscow and brings home a new wife. Fiercely devout, city-bred, Vasilisa’s new stepmother forbids her family from honoring the household spirits. The family acquiesces, but Vasilisa is frightened, sensing that more hinges upon their rituals than anyone knows.
And indeed, crops begin to fail, evil creatures of the forest creep nearer, and misfortune stalks the village. All the while, Vasilisa’s stepmother grows ever harsher in her determination to groom her rebellious stepdaughter for either marriage or confinement in a convent.
As danger circles, Vasilisa must defy even the people she loves and call on dangerous gifts she has long concealed–this, in order to protect her family from a threat that seems to have stepped from her nurse’s most frightening tales.
🌸 Hi babes! I hope you’re having a great day. Today I bring you my TBR of the month of July, where I tell you about the readings that I’ve planned for this month. Well, as you have seen in my previous Wrap Up, I really haven’t been able to read a lot cause it has been a very busy month for me, so this month I feel a bit ambitious and I want to read everything, which is why I have many ideas and planned readings that I’m so excited to share with you. I think this month I will have enough time, besides work, isn’t such a busy month and I want to take my time to read, I feel I need it lol. I plan to read 7 books, hopefully, this mont. It’s like a lot for me, I usually have an average of 5 books a month but still I feel very eager to try to push myself a bit and maybe I’ll achieve it, even if I don’t, it’s ok anyway. But, Wish me LUCK!🌸
💕 Before I start, I want to remind you that you guys are the best, thank you so much for the support I have from each and every one of you. I love checking all your posts and your blogs I think you all do such an incredible job and everyone deserves a great recognition for it, I’m sorry that sometimes I can’t read them all cause they’re a lot but I try to keep up to date because I love this kind of family that we all are part of, It’s a beautiful community with people who will always support you and listen to you and I just wanted to highlight this again and I hope it never changes💕
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!
Hi loves!, I hope you’re having a great start to the week, I know it is hard to start after the weekend, so from here, I send THE BEST ENERGIES 🌻 for you all !. Today I bring you the weekly meme “It’s Monday! Hi babes! I hope you’re having a great day. Today I bring you my TBR of the month of June, where I tell you about the readings that I’ve planned for this month. As you’ll have seen by the title this will be another very different TBR, and I’m super excited to see if it works, because if you think twice, this can be disastrous lol. 🌻 Last month I saw the booktuber Riley from the Riley Marie channel, which I love , doing this and I thought it sounded fun and I wanted to try this month, you know I love trying to do new things so that the TBRs are more fun and diferent, so I hope that you enjoy this with me.🌻 The truth is that I have so many options in my TBR and I’m in that kind of humor where I want to read them all lol, so I have to take advantage of that 😄
🌸 Well what I’ll be doing is that I’ll let Goodreads choose my TBR for this month, how will I do it? : Well, I’ll go to the “Want to read” list in Goodreads, I’ll pick to put the books sorted in a “Random” way and I’ll add that book that appears first, in the first line, to my TBR for this month. To choose the next book, the only thing I’ll do is refresh the page I’ll refresh the page 3 times, I would love to do it more but there are already 2 books that I’ve chosen to read so with 3 more will be perfect. I hope you understand the way I’ll do this, otherwise I recommend you see the Riley video, I left the link above, she explains it much better than me lol.🌸
