5-Star Book Predictions Update ðŸŒŸ

🌟 Hi, hermosos amigos! I hope you’re having a wonderful day surrounded by the best readings! ❤️ Today, I decided to bring you an update or something like a wrap-up of my 5-star book predictions, not only of the lists I’ve made for this year, but we’ll also review those predictions from last year to see how I’ve done. 😊 I was going through some old posts these days, thinking about what post to do and I realized that I had never brought you a complete update as such of all the 5-star prediction lists I’ve done over the years, and you know I LOVE doing those types of posts, as I think they’re a lot of fun, so I thought it was time to have all those books organized in one post to also review if I’ve been right about some of these readings with my predictions. 🤔
I think it will be fun to chat a little bit about each of these books, honestly, I was surprised to see that I’ve read most of them already, almost without realizing it, but I love it because this is a great opportunity to bring you this post 💫, share a little bit with you and obviously chat about how right I was about each book and which ones I’ve ended up being disappointed with.
I’d also love it if you could share your 5-star predictions with me, and I’d love to know how you’ve been doing with that! 👏🏻

Obviously, I plan to create another one of these lists with new books soon, as I love doing it, it’s a great challenge that without even knowing it keeps you pretty motivated to read, so not only I’ll continue to do it, but I highly recommend it if you haven’t tried it yet. 🥰 It’s an interesting way to see how much you really know about yourself, what things you like to read or which ones are really for you and which ones aren’t.
Personally, I think it’s a lot of fun, so… I hope this will be a relaxed post, just to review a few of my past readings and have a post solely dedicated to my 5-star predictions. I hope you like it a lot, that you decide to share all your opinions with me and without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!
 🌟

‼️ PS: Any rating of 4.5-star will be taken as a win for me and as a completed goal, since by my standards a 4.5-star rating is too close to perfection, I’m just a bit picky sometimes. I’ll still take them as 5-star in this post.

💞 All the links you need will be below, so you can check out my full reviews or add the book to your bookshelves.

2020 Surprises & Disappointments âš¡ï¸

⚡️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings and wonderful moments! ❤️ Today I’m more than excited to share with you this second post in the series of “end of the year posts” and this time I bring you my Surprises & my Disappointments of this 2020. 🙌🏻 On the one hand, we have those books from which I didn’t expect so much and they ended up surprising me by how much I enjoyed them and on the other hand, those which I had high expectations from, but ended up disappointing me.
As always, I want to clarify that these opinions are only my own and don’t mean that we all have the same experiences with these books and that’s fine 😊 & on the other hand I also want to clarify that
the group of books that today I want to share with you that were surprising for me, are books that really captivated me but they didn’t reach my top of the year as favorites, so this is also a good opportunity to give them their moment of recognition, appreciate them and tell you a little about them. 😍
I also want to tell you that those books that are in the group of
my disappointments this year aren’t bad books at all, in fact, I’ve enjoyed them, it just that I get into them with high expectations or I expected much more from them and they just didn’t live up to and that’s why they’re in my disappointments. Which doesn’t mean they aren’t great reads anyway. 🌟
In short, I want this to be a fun post to share and exchange opinions, always knowing that we are all unique and different and that’s wonderful. 💞
So you know that I hope to know everything you think in the comments about these books!

August Wrap Up | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Goodbye Reading Slump â„️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my August Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. At last, guys, I can come with good news about my reading because August was the month where I was finally able to defeat my Reading Slump and I was able to enjoy the reading process without any problems, so I’m very happy and excited for the months to come! ðŸ‘ðŸ» ðŸ‘ðŸ» ðŸ‘ðŸ» I think July was the month where I was trying to get out of my reading slump, but August is the month where I finally felt like I was able to really do it. Therefore and thanks to this, my month has been incredible in terms of readings and I’ve quite enjoyed most of the books I’ve read which is even better, in fact, I’ve given my second 5 stars of the year, this it’s not a drill!, and I’m super excited to tell you everything about it. ðŸ˜Š

This August I’ve participated in two “challenges” the first has been ARC August which is all about, as its name suggests, about reading ARCs and getting up to date with them, and I think I’ve done a pretty good job with this one, I haven’t read every ARC that I had on my list, but I do have read I think half of them, which is already quite positive & on the other hand, I’ve participated in Latinx Readathon, which is an incredible Readathon where we have a Bingo Board and we must read each book by Latinx authors for each promp (you can find more information about it HERE) and as I completely loved the idea, I wanted to support it by participating and I completed my personal challenge with this one, which was completing a bingo line… so YAY! Besides this, I enjoyed every book I read and that makes me very happy. ðŸ¥³

Besides that it has been a great month in terms of my readings, I want to take a moment as always, to thank the beautiful support that each of you gives me every day and every month with my blog. It’s a blessing to have this space and also that my works are respected means a lot, so THANK YOU SO MUCH, Amores, I’ve had the chance to meet new incredible bookish people in August, and that’s really exciting, so I look forward to a September full of love and full of support. ðŸ¥º ðŸ¥º ðŸ¥º

So, going into more detail about my readings this month, we have a great variety that has even inspired me to create new challenges to try in the future and share it with you here on the blog. ðŸ˜
First, we have some ARCs that I really liked,
two of them are incredible fantasy/paranormal sequels where both stories evolve a lot & the other ARC was a sad disappointment, a great promise but a poor execution.
Then we have three wonderful Latinx books that I’ve loved,
one of them is a romantic and super light short novel, the other is a shocking and raw anthology that will make you think & finally my new 5 stars: an absolutely meaningful story about how to forgive and move on.
Then I was also able to finish a book that I had been reading since July and I really enjoyed that one, a brilliant and gloomy plot & I also chose one of the books from my “Back-Up Pile”, which
was another sequel that I was dying to read and I ended up adoring it.

So without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED! I’m super excited to share with you all my thoughts about each of these books & I hope you enjoy it. ❄️

Book Recommendations | Standalone Books Edition ðŸŒ²

ðŸŒ² Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, having incredible moments, and reading the best books.❤️ Today as it’s Friday I feel like bringing you a fun recommendation post of those that I LOVE creating & sharing with you, so we can have a relaxed moment and hopefully add a lot of books to your TBR. I realized that 2 years ago I finished with my series where I recommended only standalone books, and OMG, I can’t believe I didn’t make another list of my recommendations in two years. ðŸ˜² Obviously, I’ve already read many more standalone books to share with you and I’m very excited to bring you these types of lists because I know that sometimes it can be a challenge to choose what to read next, right? so I want you to have a resource here on my blog and a small place where you can go if you need recommendations. ðŸ‘ðŸ»

So how will this be? You know that I like to give a special touch and a different thing to my recommendation posts since I want it to be a fun experience for you and that you can also really feel they’re more personalized recommendations where I think that hopefully, you can find the perfect book just for you. ðŸ’•  That’s why this time I’ve decided to classify the books by categories according to how they’ve made me feel while reading them so you can find the one that resonates best with you and your reading tastes. For example, I have classified those standalone with a magical touch, those more complex and you can even find some lighter ones to enjoy.  ðŸ˜Š

If you want to know my complete thoughts on each of the books you can do so by clicking on the names of the books, which will take you directly to my review without spoilers  ðŸ™ŒðŸ»

I hope you like this idea very much, I always try to bring you the best of me and that we can have a good time together and chat a little about books because that’s why we are here, right?  ðŸ¥°
Thank you SO SO much for the infinite support, you know that I feel it very deeply in my heart and I treasure every comment, like and shared that you give to my posts, I put a lot of love in my work and the recognition is always a blessing. July Wrap Up | Having fun with PopCulture Readathon & Getting out of my Reading Slump â„️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my July Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. July was such a crazy month for me, maybe a little messy in terms of reading, but I also had a lot of fun and I’ve had beautiful surprises and blessings to be thankful for, so I can say that it was a great month and although I didn’t read as much I was expecting to, it’s okay, I’m learning to be patient with myself and understand that I’m just coming out of a reading slump so I understand that it will have a somewhat slow start and that’s ok, we must love and understand ourselves when we’re going through this type of state, I‘m glad that I was able to read and actually enjoy the process, which was difficult for me a month ago. I didn’t really read any book that blew me away, but I did enjoy one enough and I’ve found super interesting stories, I’m also happy to have given the opportunity to several genres, which is always positive, I’ll tell you more in my statistics and in my summary of each book. 😊

Before starting and sharing with you all my readings, I want to thank you SO SO much for all the love I’ve received this month, I’m infinitely grateful, guys, for each one of you, the connections I’ve made thanks to the blog are what I treasure the most of this beautiful experience. 🥰  I was the blog of the day on Twitter 🎉, which is always a wonderful and super significant detail that helps me grow, so thanks to @TheWriteReads for all their work and support he gives to the book bloggers community & in addition to this I’ve reached the 5000 followers with the blog and I just CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! I don’t really know how to express how grateful I feel with each person who decides to follow my blog, it makes me happy and I promise that I’ll only improve every day to give you the best of myself. I LOVE YOU and you know I’m always there for you if you need me

Plus, I want to thank every book blogger who has included me in their lists for the Book Blogger Awards nominations, I didn’t expect all the love I received and my heart explodes with joy, thank you SO much, guys, you’re wonderful. ❤️

I Love You Hug GIF by RainToMe

So during the month of June, I participated in the incredible PopCulture Readathon and my personal goal was simply to read as much as I could, so even though I didn’t read how much I wanted, I read what I could and that’s fine with me, let’s say I made it 😅 This was one of the best and most enjoyable readathons in which I’ve participated, I’m absolutely in love with it and I hope I can participate in the future when I feel like reading more, so I can get more out of it. 😍 Even so, I had a lot of fun, I loved it and I read an incredible fantasy, I participated in a blog tour where I discovered a magical book with an incredible atmosphere, a unique mystery, an unexpected short novel, the end of a series which left me with mixed feelings & I DNF a very popular book. 👏🏻 I also want to talk a little about my current reading, so without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post, remember that I love to know what you think, so let me know everything in the comments, I LOVE YOU & let’s get started! ❄️Read More »

July TBR | Catching up with my Readings & PopCulture Readathon â„️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of July. This month will be the month where I’ll try to catch up on my readings after having a very bad June, thank God it was a pretty short month for me because I was urgent to start with a new month and new energy. 💫 I know I say this every month, you probably think I’m crazy, but I’m excited for this month and I think it will be the month when I finally read a lot and catch up on many readings I’ve been wanting to read since the beginning of the year. 😍

I’ve planned this structure where I’ve chosen books that I’m really excited about, some ARCs and new releases, in this way, I think I’ll be able to defeat the reading slump and stay motivated throughout the month. 👏🏻 In addition to these plans, I’ll be participating in PopCulture Readathon 🤩 , which not only sounds incredible but IS INCREDIBLE. When I found out about it on Twitter, I knew that I had to participate even when I wasn’t reading anything at the time. I LOVE the idea, is inspired by movies from the ’90s! I think it’s brilliant and I love how Whitney, the creator, has organized everything in a way that we all have many options and a wide range of promps and boards: Teen Dream Family Affair” “Thrill Ride & The Adult Table, which I LOVE! I also think that there’s no specific goal, you can do it as you like and how it resonates with you, try to fill the board you choose or you can do it in a bingo-style or as you want, in my case, I’ll try to read as many books as I can of the board that I’ve chosen. 😊  In case you want to know more about the readathon and places to find it, I’ll leave you all the links here above and I’m very happy to see that many of us will be participating or, in my case, trying to participate, so it will be even more fun!

The Craft Witcheswalking GIF - TheCraft Witcheswalking FlyingKiss ...

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Before starting I want to thank you for being there for me throughout the month of June supporting my work on the blog and to me as a person, I don’t deserve you, you’re wonderful and I’m absolutely proud and happy to be part of the community. I know that lately, our family that we have created here, has been somewhat problematic in general, so I want to let you know that this will always be a safe place for you, as positive as it can be and you’ll always have all the freedom to express yourself as you want to do it. I also want to say that if you’re feeling uncomfortable or un-motivated, please don’t hesitate to stay away for a while if it’s what you need, it’s totally understandable and your mental health comes first. I LOVE YOU & I’m planning a discussion on how to combat reading slump for this month if you’re interested stay around because I know that sadly many of us are going through the same thing, but I know that we going to do it so much better this month, July will be our month of reading! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I have a huge stack of books planned to share with you below, I’ve decided to choose a book for each promp on the board because I think it’s fun and I just wanted to choose to have a lot of variety and possibilities, even so, I’m aware that I’ll not read all this and it’s ok, I still wanted to try to read as much as I can. 🥰 I’m excited to share it with you, let me know EVERYTHING in the comments & without further ado, LET’S START! ❄️ Read More »

June TBR | #MakeYourMythTaker Readathon & Catching up with my Own Challenges ðŸ‚

🍂 Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of June. Well, another month and other new challenges to undertake, I’m excited for June, I feel it will be THE month, where I’ll finally read everything I plan. 👏🏻 In general, I’m very good at following my TBR, but last month I was messy with that, so this month I hope I can stick to my plans, I know I can do it! I wasn’t planning, though, to participate in anything this month… BUT I found many incredible readathons taking place in June, some of you let me know of many readathons through Twitter, which I’m very thankful for, and I decided to give one of them a chance to have a little fun while reading, also everything fits perfectly with my book pile.

So, the readathon I’ve chosen is Make Your Myth-Taker readathon, which I absolutely adore because it’s amazing, fun, and super original. 😍  It’s created by Ashleigh from A Frolic Through Fiction and takes place throughout the whole month of June, for more information better explained and more detailed I’ll leave you here the video of the announcement with everything you need to know. In summary, this readathon is based on choosing a fictional character and following a series of promps to become her/him. There are 4 groups: Warrior, Royal Court, Rogue & Sorcerer, of these each group there are 4 characters from which you can choose one or several as you want, to follow her/him path. Later I will show you which character and which group I’ve chosen to be, but yes! I think it will be a lot of fun and I hope that many people will join!  🌟

On the other hand, I also want to incorporate in this challenge books that are on my lists of mini-TBRs for this year, you know that I want to try to read more sci-fi, so I have incorporated one of which I don’t know much, but I know that it’s very loved and recognized. I try reading it once, but it didn’t work, so it’s also like a second-chance reading. 🚀
In addition, as always, I’ll be incorporating an ARC, for which I will be participating in the blog tour  📚
And last but not least, I’m about to finish reading my 2020 5-star predictions, so here you’ll also see another one that I’ll be trying, SUPER EXCITED because honestly, I feel that I’ll love this book, the premise sounds amazing to me and I’ve heard the best things. 😄
Apart from all this, I really want to try to read much more of the books that I’ll be putting and sharing with you in this post. I’ve decided that it feels good for me this month to try to follow my mood and choose something during the month simply without planning it, surely from my physical TBR, so I’ll be sharing it later and maybe you can even help me choose other books. I hope this isn’t confusing for you, but I hope it works for me and somehow be more relaxing and be able to read a little more of just what I feel at the moment, you know?  🥰
So I don’t want to waste any more time, I’m very excited to share my plans for this month with you and I hope you enjoy it, LOVE YOU FOREVER! 🍂 Read More »
