Top 5 | Books with Shocking & Impressive Writing Styles ๐ŸŒช

๐ŸŒช Hello friends, I hope you’re having a great day, full of the best reading! โค๏ธ Today as always, I’m super excited to bring you a new post to the blog, this time one dedicated to the authors of these books more than the books themselves, you know? ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป It will be about those books that impacted me a lot or left me blow away because of their outstanding and impressive writing styles, so because we’ll be talking about writing styles, we’ll talk about the talent that these authors have when creating stories, this time I’ll highlight five different authors and five of what I personally think are their best works so far. ๐Ÿ˜
This post will obviously be 100% my personal opinion, I know we all have different views about these authors and the books I’ll mention, and that’s fine, but I still wanted to make it clear.
In this case, I have unwittingly and unintentionally chosen five authors of whom I have already read more than one book, and I think that somehow that has made me really impressed with their level of writing, which has only been growing and evolving for the better. ๐Ÿ˜Š
Besides that, I love these five stories, and I think they’re pretty heart-hitting, which I didn’t do on purpose either, lol, but I guess they’re my kind of book, so it makes sense that they’re the ones I’ve chosen. โšก๏ธ

What do I mean by “Shocking Writing Styles”? ๐Ÿค” Well, with this, and as I already mentioned as my personal opinion, they’re those styles that leave me really impressed, and with that “WOW” feeling after reading them, you know? They’re those readings that make me feel almost present inside the stories and super close to the characters, those that invite me to get really involved with what’s happening and feel each situation like my own, you know? Those kinds of feelings of realism and engagement are, for me, feelings that only a very advanced and good writing style can achieve. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Sometimes this kind of reading can take you through a lot of emotions even, and that’s a big plus for me, because I’m that kind of reader that likes to feel very intensely what’s happening when I read a book; otherwise it can still be an enjoyable and light reading, but it won’t have that same meaning for me.
As the last point and to start the post, I want to clarify that with all this, I don’t think that the lightest and funniest readings can’t have an incredible writing style; in fact, I don’t think it has anything to do with that, but most with the author’s personal style and their way of telling stories.
 ๐Ÿคฉ

Now yes, without further ado, I hope you can find new readings to add to your TBR, readings that I hope will take you to travel incredible journeys, dream, love, cry and live unforgettable moments together with the characters.ย ๐Ÿฅฐ I love YOUย ๐Ÿ’•, thanks for the love of always & now yes, I hope you enjoy it and LET’S BEGIN!!!ย ๐ŸŒชย

Save One, Drop One | Book Edition ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ”ฅ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of good readings and incredible moments. โค๏ธ Today I bring you a kind of Bookish Tag to share with you, THE THING IS: a few days ago I was watching videos in the Booktube world, and I came across this great idea on the jessethereader & Hailey in Bookland channels, and I thought it was such a fun series to bring it here, but in blog format. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
What is it about? Well, this book tag is about choosing two books that you have already read, and of those books, you should choose one to save, while you should drop the other. It sounds simple, but I think it will not be so because maybe I randomly pick books that I love completely and it will destroy my heart to have to choose between my babies, so we’ll see; also I know that I run the risk that you hate me, so I hope you still love me after this, it will not be easy. ๐Ÿฅบ
 ๐Ÿฅบ
To make it more fun and entertaining, I’ve decided to choose the books using my Read shelf in Goodreads, I’ll put it so that they’re sorted in a Radom way, and I’ll refresh the page to create pairs. ๐Ÿ˜„
I hope this makes sense to you, and so I can be surprised along with you while we do the tag, since I don’t know which book will be chosen.
I hope you like the idea, that it’s something that you find entertaining, and of course, it would be a pleasure if you decide to do it yourself too, just let me know because I would love to see your choices. ๐ŸŒป
I love you, infinite thanks for the love and support of all these years with my blog, I hope you decide to stay and accompany me on this incredible journey for much longer & without further ado, LET’S START!

TOP 5 | Atmospheric Book Recommendations | #2 ๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŒฟ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings, and of course, you’re safe and healthy.โค๏ธ Today I returned with the second part of my atmospheric book recommendations, it made me SO SO happy to see that you liked the first top 5, so I’m super excited to bring you more amazing recs of books that, of course, I’ve read and enjoyed myself and feel that you could too. So here, as I said in the first post, I’ll be sharing books with wonderful & vivid settings, others somewhat creepy, but above all beautiful and 100% atmospheric. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย The idea came out to me because I honestly LOVE this feature in books, it’s one of my favorite factors when I choose what to read and it always ends up having a great impact on my enjoyment, I just adore atmospheric books, when you feel that you can be in the place where the characters are and especially when you feel that you’re surrounded by that immensity or that landscape so vivid that you can almost touch, smell and feel everything around you. This is a feeling that I adore with my heart, so what I want with these posts is that you can also find a book that can make you feel all that and much more while enjoying the story and managing to fully commit yourself to the plot. ๐Ÿ˜
I would love to know your opinion and your own recommendations for me, I’ll be adding MANY books to my TBR, so don’t hesitate to let me know everything in the comments. ๐Ÿฅฐ
Now without further ado, letโ€™s begin, Iโ€™m super excited to share this very atmospheric top with you & I hope you enjoy. ๐ŸŒฟRead More »

Synopsis

From the acclaimed author ofย Forever, Interruptedย andย After I Doย comes a breathtaking new novel about a young woman whose fate hinges on the choice she makes after bumping into an old flame; in alternating chapters, we see two possible scenarios unfoldโ€”with stunningly different results.

At the age of twenty-nine, Hannah Martin still has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She has lived in six different cities and held countless meaningless jobs since graduating college. On the heels of leaving yet another city, Hannah moves back to her hometown of Los Angeles and takes up residence in her best friend Gabbyโ€™s guestroom. Shortly after getting back to town, Hannah goes out to a bar one night with Gabby and meets up with her high school boyfriend, Ethan.

Just after midnight, Gabby asks Hannah if sheโ€™s ready to go. A moment later, Ethan offers to give her a ride later if she wants to stay. Hannah hesitates. What happens if she leaves with Gabby? What happens if she leaves with Ethan?

In concurrent storylines, Hannah lives out the effects of each decision. Quickly, these parallel universes develop into radically different stories with large-scale consequences for Hannah, as well as the people around her. As the two alternate realities run their course,ย Maybe in Another Lifeย raises questions about fate and true love: Is anything meant to be? How much in our life is determined by chance? And perhaps, most compellingly: Is there such a thing as a soul mate?

Hannah believes there is. And, in both worlds, she believes sheโ€™s found him.

September Wrap Up || Contemporary-a-Thon & My Best Reading Month So far? || 2019 ๐ŸŒป

๐ŸŒปย Hi guys!! I hope youโ€™re having the best day & youโ€™re enjoying your reading ๐Ÿ’ž Today I bring you my beloved Wrap Up of the month of September, where Iโ€™ll talk about all the books Iโ€™ve read during the month. OMG, this month really flew by, I mean, where did it go? It seems yesterday when it was just beginning, it’s crazy. Being totally honest right now, I’ve nothing really crazy or excited to tell you about this month in terms of my life as such, I’m SO boring ๐Ÿ˜…, it was quiet, relaxing I guess, and I’ve been trying to connect more with myself during September, I’ve been meditating, which is really helping me a lot with my anxiety. Spring began where I live, so right now I’m quite envious of all those who are going through my beautiful Autumnย ๐Ÿ‚ย , I swear that autumn is my favorite season, I love the landscapes and the weather a lot, so enjoy it for me.ย ๐Ÿ˜ญย ย
As you know, I’ve changed many things on the blog and it makes me happy that most of you liked, honestly.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย ย

In terms of reading month, has really been an AMAZING month, in fact, it’s my best month of the year so farย ๐ŸŽŠ, if I know, WHAT! LOL. I’m super excited, I didn’t expect to read so much cause I had honestly gone into this weird moment where I didn’t know what I wanted to read and wasn’t sure, so I decided to follow my intuition and it was perfect, I found books that I LOVED, so I really can’t complain. You’ll see a little as I did in terms of number in my statistics section, but I’m really very pleased with what I’ve achieved because even though I have several short books, I’m proud of myself.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย
I’ve read the ARCs that I set out to, so that’s always good, I have a couple of short stories that have surprised me, both for good and for bad, actually. Then we have another small stack of books that were very anticipated by me, and I think that in general, I’ve enjoyed most of the things I’ve read. I’ve even given a couple of 5 stars, and you know that’s weird for me, so YAY, celebrate with me!!!ย ๐Ÿฅณย ย
I participated, as always, in the Contemporary-a-Thon, in the link you can see all the information related to it, and the truth is that I LOVE this read-a-thon, it’s one of my favorites, I always find very good books when I participate and this time wasn’t the exception. In fact, OMG, I almost forgot to mention it, a miracle happened and you know what? … I COMPLETED ALL THE CHALLENGES!! *victory dance*
I think that setting a more realistic goal was a good idea, so super happy with the results.
I’m dying to start talking to you about the books, tell you a little about my statistics and share some of my faves post of the month. So, let’s start!ย ๐ŸŒป Read More »
