Hi guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day and I hope you’ve had a great Christmas as well, surrounded by your loved ones. Today I have a list of the books that have most disappointed me this year, this list will count with those books for which I was excited to read but ended up being a disappointment when they didn’t reach my expectations, bored me or were problematic in some way . In addition to the Goodreads link, I also add a direct link to my Review of the book in case you want to know in detail my thoughts about it Before starting I want to clarify that this post doesn’t intend to offend anyone, it’s just a personal opinion, I know that most of you understand this, but even so, I have to clarify it just in case. So, without further ado, let’s start!Read More »
Hi guys! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Today I bring you my April Wrap Up! Which is where I tell you about my readings of the month, so let’s start.
I’ve had a very good month, I was pretty focused on finishing a couple of my ARCs this month and I’ve done it, so I’m really happy about it, Anyway I still have more, which I will be reading and reviewing in the coming months, I really want to take those books seriously and be as “professional” as possible about this, you know what I mean? , I always appreciate when an Arc is provided to me, so I want to be responsible with it. So yeah, I’m just trying to give my best about it 🙂
So this month I have been able to reading 6 books, a number with which I’m super happy and comfortable every month :D, As for the quality of the reading I would say that I loved the half of the books, while the other half wasn’t so good, so I’d say it’s 50/50 this month, although I’ve added one more book to my favorites list !! and that didn’t happen for a long time, YAY! , so without further ado, let’s do it!
A girl named Rose is riding her new bike near her home in Deadwood, South Dakota, when she falls through the earth. She wakes up at the bottom of a square hole, its walls glowing with intricate carvings. But the firemen who come to save her peer down upon something even stranger: a little girl in the palm of a giant metal hand.
Seventeen years later, the mystery of the bizarre artifact remains unsolved—its origins, architects, and purpose unknown. Its carbon dating defies belief; military reports are redacted; theories are floated, then rejected.
But some can never stop searching for answers.
Rose Franklin is now a highly trained physicist leading a top secret team to crack the hand’s code. And along with her colleagues, she is being interviewed by a nameless interrogator whose power and purview are as enigmatic as the provenance of the relic. What’s clear is that Rose and her compatriots are on the edge of unraveling history’s most perplexing discovery—and figuring out what it portends for humanity. But once the pieces of the puzzle are in place, will the result prove to be an instrument of lasting peace or a weapon of mass destruction?
An inventive debut in the tradition of World War Z and The Martian, told in interviews, journal entries, transcripts, and news articles, Sleeping Giants is a thriller fueled by a quest for truth—and a fight for control of earthshaking power.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila fromBook Journey.Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at theBook Date. And here we are!
Hi guys! I hope you’re having a great weekend :). Today I bring my April TBR, which is where I show you the books that I plan to read during the month, and this month I have some books that I’m so excited to read, so I can’t wait to show you!!
But before, I want to share something with you :D. I have created a jar that contains all the books in my TBR and I’m very excited about it, I think it will be a great way to read books that I have always wanted but for some reason I’ve never done it and I also find it super fun since as it’s totally random, so you never know what will touch you , I think it will be super fun.
This month I will be reading about 5 or 6 books, among them there are some that are first in series or trilogies, I have a duology too, so if I like it very much I’ll probably continue with them. I have chosen 2 books that I’m dying to read and Ive taken 2 more from my TBR jar that I’ll show you right away,
