April TBR | Trying to Catch Up on My Reading! : Arcs, Big Books, Continuing Series & New Releases. ๐Ÿ‚

ย ๐Ÿ‚ย Hi, friends, how are you? I hope you’re doing great, safe, and surrounded by the best people & readings! โค๏ธย Today I’m super excited because it will be my first TBR since I’m back, so somehow everything feels almost new.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Autumn is starting here where I live and that makes me so happy! my favorite season, no doubt, can you believe that next year I’ll be experiencing my birthday in winter for the first time in my life? CRAZY!.ย ๐Ÿ˜ As you know, this is the post where we discuss and share all about my plans for the new month in terms of reading & where I’m also uncontrollable when it comes to creating lists lol, hopefully, I’ll try to be more reasonable about the latter this year, and I’ll be giving myself a TBR that I actually feel like I can complete. ๐Ÿ˜…ย

This time, guys, you’ll notice that I’m not doing a Wrap-Up, which was originally going to go before this post, this is because I haven’t read almost anything this past monthย ๐Ÿฅบ, it has been a month of getting back in tune with everything I had to do, I’ve been catching up with you, I’ve been trying to organize some things in my life as well, I’ve been visiting family that lives far away, and I’ve also been in town shopping for my trip and obviously planning all that, as well. So never mind, it’s ok, I read a 500-page book which is a super positive thing, that book was The Kiss of Deception (The Remnant Chronicles, #1) by Mary E. Pearson, in case you want to check out my thoughts it’s the first book I have reviewed with my new review structure, so I’m very excited about that fact.ย ๐Ÿ’žย
Obviously, I’m not here to beat myself up, I probably could have done better, but that’s okay, I’m getting back into this whole blogging thing, so I respect my time.โ˜•๏ธ
The really good news, guys, is that after getting more involved in the community after my break, I feel more motivated to catch up with my reading, so I’m crossing my fingers that April will be a successful month!ย ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿปย

So, what will I be reading this April?ย ๐Ÿค” Well, my idea, as the title says, is to catch up, I have several ARCs that I’m extremely grateful to have received, and I want to get to read them, at least in their month of release even if I don’t reach the specific date, I still want to try it. Also, on the other hand, I have a new release from one of my favorite authors, which I’ll be buddy reading, I’ll be starting a duology in preparation for the second book, & I also plan to continue a series I’ve recently started (I think this one is easy to figure out).โšก๏ธโšก๏ธโšก๏ธย
So with this little teaser, I think it’s the perfect time to get straight to what we are here for, I already want to share with you all the books I plan to read and also hear about your plans as well! Let’s support each other, we can do this!ย ๐Ÿฅฐ So, without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!ย ๐Ÿ‚ย

Spooky Season Post #1 | 31 Young Adult Horror Books to Keep You Up at Night ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Hi, bookish friends! I hope you’re all having a wonderful day full of the best spooky reading! ๐Ÿ–ค Today I’m super excited to share with you the first post of a new series where we’ll have various bookish content all related to horror season, and Halloween in generalย ๐Ÿ•ท, but don’t worry because if you’re not that into spooky and this crrepy vibe isn’t for you because I’ve got you covered too, so I’ll be trying to create posts that can be enjoyable for everyone, no matter what.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป I hope you’re as much excited as I am, because as you know, I LOVE horror seasonย ๐Ÿ˜, even though in Argentina it’s not something we celebrate, I celebrate it on my own with many creepy books, movies and series, so I hope this year I can share this season with all of you. So, I invite you to stick around for this post series to not only share halloween-y books, but also exchange opinions to make it more fun!ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย

In this first post to open this series I wanted to bring you a bunch of Young Adult Horror books for you to enjoy during this season, so I thought a list of 31 books would be more than perfect! ๐ŸŽƒ Some things I tried to keep in mind when compiling this list are: first, that ๐ŸŒ• this books aren’t this year’s releases, as I’ll have a separate post for that specifically, and second, that ๐ŸŒ• the specific genre is “horror” and not “suspense”, “thrillers” or “mysteries”. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with those genres, I love them and they’re perfect to read during this time due to their dark atmospheres, but I wanted in this list to focus 100% on horror as the main genre. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป if you’re interested in seeing a list with the other genres as well, I’ll be more than happy to do it separately without any problems. ๐Ÿฅฐ

I don’t want to make this introduction too long, as we have a long way to go, so without further ado, I hope you enjoy this October content in general in the blogย ๐Ÿ•ธ, that you like this post, that you can find new titles to add to your TBR & obviously, I invite you to share all your thoughts about these books with me in the comments.ย ๐Ÿ˜˜ Now yes, LET’S GET STARTED!ย ๐Ÿ•ฏย

โ€ผ๏ธ All books will have a direct link to Goodreads in case you want to add them.

Book Series I Need To Finish Reading ๐ŸŒช

ย ๐ŸŒชย Hi guys, I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of good readings. โค๏ธ Thanks for all the love, you’re incredible. Today I bring you a post that I’ve wanted to do for a while now and as you have seen as the title says, it’s a post where I’ll show you all the series that I’ve started to read but I have yet to finish.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š
As the good bookworm that I am, I love to start new series, in fact, it’s super crazy, but before creating the blog I used to marathon the series that I read a lot more, in fact, I always enjoyed buying the complete series to be able to read it, I know it’s a risk, but I loved doing it.ย ๐Ÿ˜… Nowadays, I’ve seen especially on Twitter some comments about how waiting for the book series to be complete to buy and read them can be detrimental to the author, and it makes a lot of sense, honestly, I had never thought about it, so from now on I’ll support buying the first book, and in this way, I can also see if I want to continue with that series or not. It’ll be less risky for me too, so it’s a good thing.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
So, in short, I LOVE book series whether it be trilogies, duology, quartets, or more books, I really don’t care, if I enjoy the characters and the plot as such, so the more books the better!

So Lets Get To It Lets Do It GIF - SoLetsGetToIt LetsDoIt ComeOne - Descubre & Comparte GIFs

So, in this post my goal is to be a little more organized about it, I know that this is something that most will feel related to, but it’s difficult to keep a track of each series that you start, and sometimes you just forget to continue with the rest of the books, even when you have loved the first book. So, today I’ll organize myself, and then start planning when I’ll finish these series. ๐Ÿฅฐ
An important fact before starting is that these series that I’ve chosen for today are series, duologies, or trilogies that are already finished, by this I mean that the last book has already been released. I’ll focus on them, and then at another time I can make another post of those series that I want to continue but the next book hasn’t yet come out & if you’re interested, I could also make a post about those series I’ll not be continuing for x reason.
ย ๐Ÿค”

Now, without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post that maybe you can find a new series that interests youย ๐Ÿ’•, and as always let me know all your thoughts in the comments below, you know that I love chatting with you & LET’S START!ย ๐ŸŒช

Top 5 | Books with Morally-Gray Main Characters ๐Ÿ”ฅ

ย ๐Ÿ”ฅย Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day & a great start to the week, as I always tell you, I hope you’re also enjoying all your readings.โค๏ธ Today I’m super excited to return with another top 5 that could also be a recommendation post because I love each one of these books with all my heart, so obviously, I highly recommend them, especially if, as the title says, you enjoy the morally-gray main characters.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป What do I mean by this? Well, I know that we all have different concepts about what a “morally-gray” character is, for me, this means having a character who’s capable of doing anything to achieve his goals, characters that have dark actions or do something immoral during his journey or can also refer, in my personal opinion, to those characters that change as time passes and become vengeful and power-hungry. Today I’ve brought all those types of characters in these incredible 5 books, this time I wanted to focus on the main characters as such because I’ve read other books with these types of characters but they have secondary roles or the “villains” role as such, you know? so I wanted to put them aside to bring you this type of character as the main focus of the plot.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย

I hope this type of recommendation is for you and is something that you can enjoy, you know that I always try to bring you very varied recommendations & tops, so that no matter what your jam is you can find something for you, so if this time this is not something you interested in, that’s ok and I respect it, soon I bring another with brave characters and more of the heroes type, which I also personally love.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย

I love you ALWAYS, thank you for the love and support you gave me and above all for your kind words about the new look of the blogย ๐Ÿ’ž, with which I’m super happy, you can see that I’ve changed the fonts because it seemed to me that was too small before and it was very difficult to read, so I hope now it feels more comfortable for you.ย ๐Ÿฅบ
I hope you enjoy it a lot, go get yourself something to drink and eat, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the top 5 โ€ฆ LET’S START!

My Favorite Books of the Year so far | 2020 โญ๏ธ

โญ๏ธย Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings and good vibes.โค๏ธย I can’t believe we’re halfway through the year, can you believe it? It’s crazy for me, but here we are again at this moment when we have to set priorities again and look back a little, to see how our year has been so far. This is why today I bring you a list of my favorite books of the year so far! ย ๐Ÿ˜ย I know that this is a super popular post within the blogging community, so you’ve probably seen it, but looking at my own blog I saw that I didn’t do this post since 2018, and I don’t know why because I like it so much, so I brought it here back. I think it will be fun to share with you those books that I’ve loved so far, tell you a little about them, and this is kind of an excuse for recommending them as well because I promise you that each one of them is brilliant and unique in its own way. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย
This list doesn’t have any type of specific order, the books are randomly positioned and in addition to sharing some keywords of each one, because I think it’s fun, I’ll also leave you some links in case you’re interested in reading them, which I hope you are so because they’re WONDERFUL. I’ve been blessed with the possibility of reading all these books, so I hope you like the post, I’m very excited to share it with you.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย ย I LOVE you, thanks for the support, always, and without further ado, let’s get started!โญ๏ธRead More »

February Wrap Up | Witchy Reads, Out of my Comfort Zone & First DNF of the year ๐ŸŽ

๐ŸŽ Hi guys! I hope youโ€™re having a beautiful day full of good readings.โค๏ธ Today I bring you a new postโ€ฆ my February Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I think this has been a pretty good month, but it happened too fast for my taste, I usually enjoy February a lot because it’s the birthday month and everything feels very exciting, but on the other hand, it may be good a good thing that was a fast month because I’m so ready for the colder seasons to come, I’m in need of my beautiful autumn, I can’t wait!ย ๐Ÿ‚ย

As I said, it was my birthday on February 22ย ๐ŸŽŠ, I turned 26, I have a birthday post if you want to check it out, I’m leaving it HERE. So, yeah! has been a truly beautiful month, I’ve spent time with my family and I concluded that I’ve never I felt better than right now, so I can’t complain I had a very nice day with my boyfriend and my loved ones & besides all that, I’m SO SO blessed to have each one of you in my life, I’ve never had so many comments of love and beautiful wishes on my birthday before!!ย ๐Ÿฅฐย  It makes me want to cry because it’s really a blessing, you made me feel so special and loved, and you don’t know how much it means to me to have you, SO SO happy to be part of this beautiful community. Thank you, guys! ๐Ÿ˜ญย  *feeling shy*

My month was quite good in terms of reading, you’ll see more as always in my statistics, but basically, I read a normal amount for me and I’ve had a couple of books that I’ve loved with all my heart, in general, I enjoyed almost everything I read, which is always a good thing. This year I’m undoubtedly prioritizing reading things that I think I’d like or I’m very curious about, I want to focus more on that instead of the amount I read in itself, you know? ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย
I participate in the #Februwitchy I had a lot of fun and I read 2 of my favorite books of the year so far thanks to this, so super happy to have participated, I read only two books for the read-a-thon but it’s ok, I just wanted to be part, such a great idea to read about witches, which is something that I LOVE so much. ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธย Spoiler Alert! I’m in fact writing about witches in my own project, so you can imagine how passionate I am.
Then I also read a romance with a lot of hype and pick a book from my TBR Jar, which is full with your choices from my TBR LOWS & HIGHS posts, and you’ll see how it went, but I’m glad to be doing this, is a way to read books that have been in my TBR forever.
Plus, I have a couple of ARCs to talk to you about, one of them was an amazing surprise, probably a great revelation of this 2020.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย ย

Super excited to talk to you about ALL these readings and share my thoughts, I feel so energized today, for some reason, I think I’m feeling the March vibes in me(? lol … Now, Sofi stops talking & Let’s START!, I hope you enjoy. ๐ŸŽRead More »

February TBR | First TBR Jar Pick of the Year, ARCs & Witchy Reads ๐ŸŽ

ย ๐ŸŽ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope youโ€™re having the most incredible day with the best readings.โค๏ธ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of February. This is a super special month for me because it’s my birthday month! YAY!ย ๐ŸŽŠ I’ve never been a fan of celebrating my birthdays, but this year I feel so blessed with so many good things in my life that I’m really super excited about it and besides being able to celebrate my 26 years with you, nothing makes me happier! ๐Ÿ˜ญย And for this special month, I’ve planned a special stack of books to enjoy and share with you.
I think that seeing the whole picture I had a very good January in readings, I’ve read a lot, I’ve almost completed my TBR and I’ve also reached a record for me in pages read, so I’m very excited to continue with that streak during the year and obviously in this February.

Speaking about my readings, I’m super excited to tell you that I’ll be participating in the #Februwitchy readathon hosted by Asha | A Cat, A Book, and A Cup Of Tea | This readathon takes place throughout the month of February and there’s no specific rule you just have to read books about witchesย ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธย , and it works both if it has the name witch in the title as if it’s specifically about witches, you know? I leave the link in case you’re interested and want to know more, all you have to do is sing up in a Google Doc, the one that Asha provides you and there you can add your TBR and your books read during the month. It will be a lot of fun! so if you like witches I recommend you check it out. Personally, I’ll not be reading ONLY about witches, but I do have a small stack that has been reserved to participate because you know that I LOVE witchesย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย and there are several books that I’ve been wanting to read for a while, so it’s perfect, I’m doing this as a gift for myself in my birthday month & nothing can be better.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย

Then I also have a couple of ARCs, as always, which I feel absolutely blessed to be able to read before their release date & in addition to ALL of this, I have a book that I’ve been wanting to read for months now, with another one that I’ve chosen from my TBR Jar. As you know, I’ve started doing the Lows & Highs posts every Sunday in order to clean my TBR and from there you have chosen a book every week, a book that has gone directly to my TBR Jar, so from there I have chosen one for the month, and I’m a little scared about it, but I think it will be fun to know what I think and share it with you.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย  So without further ado, I want to jump right into to show you everything I plan to read in the month of February, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for being there ALWAYSย ๐Ÿ’ž, you’re amazing. ๐ŸŽRead More »

Top 5 || My Most Anticipated Books of 2020 ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿ’ซย Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings!โค๏ธย I was thinking a lot this last week and I realized that I hadn’t yet shared with you my most anticipated books of next year, so I had to fix that. Even so, instead of making a list of 10 or more books, I’ve reduce my list a lot to my top 5 most anticipated books of 2020.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย I’ve decided to do this because I know that as the year progresses I’ll have my “new monthly releases” posts and more thousands of other books that I’ll find out about, and I’ll end up adding too many books to my TBR that I’ll not read later, that’s why I decided to keep my list small and manageable, and then once the year has come I’ll know that these are the books that I want to focus on or that I want to give priority to, so this in addition to being a list of my most anticipated will also be a sort of TBR for the year, because I’m completely sure that I’ll read each one of them in 2020.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย
I feel super comfortable doing this kind of small list, so I hope that all this makes sense to you and that you enjoy the posts, I also hope you find in my list a book that’s of your interest.ย ๐ŸŒทย  Now, without further ado let’s start, my lovesย ๐Ÿ’ซ
