May Wrap Up & June TBR | My First Readathon of the Year, LGBTQ+ Books & Trying to Avoid a Reading Slump πŸ‚

πŸ‚ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! ❀️ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of May, plus: What I’m going to read in the month of June!. πŸ₯° Where has this month gone, guys? I feel like yesterday was the day I uploaded my previous Wrap Up and TBR, it’s crazy how fast this year is going by, really WOW, we have to know how to enjoy each day to the fullest. So I don’t have much to tell you about this month, I think that more than anything the things that are happening in my country have impacted me a bit, in general, I’m very positive about the world even though I’m also very aware of everything happening, I always try to put the best face to the situation, but this time it has touched me a little more since my country has returned to Phase one, I’m from Argentina, for those who don’t know yet, so, yeah, everything has returned to Phase one and having a commercial business right now is a new challenge that I’m facing πŸ˜”, but I know that soon we’ll come out of this all together and stronger, I always have a lot of faith and I hope that the new restrictions are for the better. πŸ’ͺ🏻

In the midst of all this that’s happening out in the world, I’ve been trying to read, but again I feel I haven’t read as much as I would have liked, even so, I’m happy because I know that I always give my best and I’m at this stage where I allow myself to rest and focus more on myself and it’s also important to remind ourselves that putting ourselves first is essential πŸ’ž, but I do want to share with you that by the end of the month I’ve been able to achieve a very good balance between blogging, reading and working, so I’m super happy on that side because they’re those little achievements that I always talk to you about and that mean a lot. πŸ˜„

I have very exciting plans for the month of June, I feel optimistic that I’ll be able to achieve each of my goals this time, so I’m dying to share a little with you. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» On the one hand, I’ve already thought of some blog posts, there’s a discussion one that has me super excited, where we’ll talk super honestly about blogging and our personal projects, but I also wanted to do something fun and original with respect to my list posts and recommendations, plus: maybe some book tags finally lol. On the other hand, I’ll be participating in the #LGBTQMonth which is a readathon hosting by Ross from Royal Bookshelf, he has created a super fun board to follow, where the main goal is, of course, to read books with characters or authors belonging to the LGBT+ community, so if you want to check it out, you should do it! you still have time to participate since this readathon lasts the whole month of June. πŸŒˆ This has me super excited, I’ve already planned an amazing and diverse stack that I’ll be sharing with you below. I was also looking forward to some readathon this month as I’ve been feeling a bit slumpy, so I think it can be an entertaining way to get back to my reading rhythm and stay on track. πŸ˜Š I also thought that it would be a good idea to re-read a favorite, so even though I’ll not be putting here the books that I possibly want to re-read, I’ll keep it in mind if I need it during the month and I’ll share it with you too, you know re-reading is for me THE PERFECT WAY to get out of a reading slump, so without a doubt it’s a possibility for me. πŸŒŸ

As for my readings of the month, I’ve read 4 books, which is quite avarenge, not bad, and I’m glad to see that I’m always quite varied in terms of genres and even formats, so I like that cause allows me to share different aspects of each book with you & I’ve also enjoyed all of them which is always something to celebrate!!! πŸ₯³ Before starting with the post I want to thank you very deeply for the support and love in each comment and of course with each like and visit as in each shared post. πŸ₯Ί I appreciate so much that you’re there for me each month and I hope to be giving you back a little of the same, I LOVE YOU, you’re wonderful & without further ado, we all have a wonderful month ahead of us, so let’s start planning it together!!! LET’S GO!!! πŸ‚

October Wrap Up | A Month Full of Spooky & Amazing Readings πŸŽƒ

πŸŽƒ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new post… my October Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I’m super happy to have shared the month of October with you and besides, being here to share everything about my readings, you know that I LOVE horror, so I had a really fun month, watching a lot of horror movies and reading some pretty creepy stuff, and, in general, I’m quite happy with what I’ve been able to do during the month. πŸ˜Š In my personal life, it has been my mother’s birthday, and being able to spend it with her despite everything that’s happening in the world has been a blessing, always keeping in mind how lucky I’m to have my family close and to be able to visit them more often, that has really brought me very nice energy to my month, I’ve also resumed my morning walks πŸ‘πŸ», now that everything is a little calmer the activities are being regulated better in my province, so I’ve had a little more freedom, always using a facemask, guys, super important, let’s take care of each other! So it has been a beautiful month, I’m also planning and working a little on my WIP, but I’ll start writing as such in November, like many of us I’ll be participating in Nanowrimo and super excited about it, because it will be my first time so we’ll see, maybe I’ll be sharing a bit of that with you next month. πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί

Of course, I want to thank you for all the support and love you’ve given me and my blog this month, it has been wonderful and it’s always a great blessing to see all those comments and likes and visits, at the end of the day to think that so many people have been taking their time to interact with me really means a lot, so thank you, my friends, you’re wonderful & I’m here super excited for another month together! πŸ’ž

Now about my reading month, I think I would have liked to do better and maybe read one more book, but most of myself is like super happy with what I’ve achieved, during the previous month I’ve reached a much-needed harmony about how I manage my time and being kind to myself has been first, I’m very happy to have so many passions and reading, regardless of the number of books, it will always be one of them, so I’m truly happy for each book I read. πŸ₯°
I’ve participated in two readathons this month, one of them is
Hocus Pocus Readathon & the other is Gothtober Readathon, if you want to know more about them you can check my October TBR. I’ve had a lot of fun with both, I’ve combined several of my readings to make it easier for myself and I double up some challenges and promps, so I’ve done quite well in both. πŸ™ŒπŸ» I think the positive of any readathon is feeling motivated to read and feel that emotion, you know? so super accomplished! πŸ₯³
What I’m most excited about my readings this month is that everything I’ve read I’ve enjoyed, I didn’t have a single bad reading this month, which is INCREDIBLE πŸ˜, you know that I’m quite picky with the books I read, so it’s a pleasant surprise.
I had a couple of readings that surprised me a lot, giving me much more than I expected from them. I’ve had another couple of readings with very shocking, intense, and interesting stories & Others spooky but adorable with incredible characters.
 πŸ‘»

So, sorry to make my introduction always so long, don’t hate me πŸ˜‚, & without further ado, let’s get started, I’m excited to share my readings with you! πŸŽƒ

October TBR | Trying to read all my spooky books: Hocus Pocus Readathon & Gothtober Readathon πŸŽƒ

πŸŽƒ Hi, my beautifull bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of October. Guys, I’m SO EXCITED cause the horror month has officially begun and it’s one of my favorite months of the year because if you don’t know it yet, you should know that I LOVE everything that has to do with scary things: movies, books, EVERYTHING. πŸ˜ So like every year I will be watching many spooky series and horror movies, as well as those that are within the genre like, mystery or suspense, and obviously, I’m here today to share with you ALL my readings, of course, that are super spooky and disturbing, so really really excited and happy that this season begins. πŸ‘» Here in Argentina, there’s no such thing as Halloween, so I’ll be celebrating it on my own, like every year!!! and I hope you stay there all this month accompanying me, I’ve planned some spooky recommendations and other posts that I’m really excited about to share with you, so stay tuned, it will be a beautiful and creepy month! πŸ₯³
As always before I start to tell you a bit about my plans for the month, I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the support and love you have given me the previous month, I’m SOOOO happy to have you in my life, you have no idea, this blog means the world for me, as well as being part of this community that’s so wonderful. πŸ’ž  I LOVE YOU, ALWAYS & ALWAYS.
 πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί

So, I plan this month to participate in two readathons, I really couldn’t choose only one and LOVE the ideas of both, the creators have been super original and you can see both have worked so hard, so I want to give my support by participating, it will be SO MUCH FUN. πŸ‘πŸ»
The first will be
Hocus Pocus Readathon πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ, a Readathon that I’m sure you’ve heard mentioned, is created by @pagesnink and @werewolflious & takes place from October 1st until the 31st. I LOVE that in this Readathon we have Teams: “Team Sanderson Sisters”, “Team Undead” & “Team Trick or Treaters”. Each Team has its own prompts, as well as each Team also has a Strength and a Weakness, all of which is perfectly detailed on Twitter, where you’ll find a thread with all the information you need to know, also where you can join to win points for your team. In my case, I’ll be #TEAMSANDERSONSISTERS and super excited for my team, and I have a very exciting stack to share with you later.
On the other hand, we have
Gothtober Readathon πŸ’€, which let me tell you, it has some BEAUTIFUL graphics, you can see the work put into it and I simply love each of the promps that I’ll later be sharing with you. This Gothic Readathon is hosted by @ladette_M, @Oliviascatastro, and @llittlewolf_ & will be taking place throughout the whole month of October as well. This also has a wonderful thread on Twitter where you can go to see all the info and also some recommendations for each prompt, which I’ll share with you below.

I’ve been able to put together a stack with books that I’ll be convincing and repeating for many of the prompts of both Readathons, so I don’t have to read one for each prompt because it would be impossible for me to do so. But I’m really happy with what I accomplished, I have a decent stack of spooky books that I’m very excited to read.  πŸ₯° To be honest with you I’ll not be prioritizing my ARCs this month, I want to mention it directly because I have to be true to myself and this month I feel like I want to read other things, and that’s fine, even so, I always enjoy my ARCs and love the possibility of being able to be approved for each one of them, so I’ll read more in November. πŸ˜Š
And I think that’s it, hope I don’t forget to mention anything, I’m super excited about jumping right into what’s important right and sharing ALL my readings for this month with you, so without further ado, make yourself comfortable, prepare a delicious coffee &
LET’S START! πŸŽƒ

July Wrap Up | Having fun with PopCulture Readathon & Getting out of my Reading Slump β„️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new post… my July Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. July was such a crazy month for me, maybe a little messy in terms of reading, but I also had a lot of fun and I’ve had beautiful surprises and blessings to be thankful for, so I can say that it was a great month and although I didn’t read as much I was expecting to, it’s okay, I’m learning to be patient with myself and understand that I’m just coming out of a reading slump so I understand that it will have a somewhat slow start and that’s ok, we must love and understand ourselves when we’re going through this type of state, I‘m glad that I was able to read and actually enjoy the process, which was difficult for me a month ago. I didn’t really read any book that blew me away, but I did enjoy one enough and I’ve found super interesting stories, I’m also happy to have given the opportunity to several genres, which is always positive, I’ll tell you more in my statistics and in my summary of each book. 😊

Before starting and sharing with you all my readings, I want to thank you SO SO much for all the love I’ve received this month, I’m infinitely grateful, guys, for each one of you, the connections I’ve made thanks to the blog are what I treasure the most of this beautiful experience.Β πŸ₯°Β  I was the blog of the day on TwitterΒ πŸŽ‰, which is always a wonderful and super significant detail that helps me grow, so thanks to @TheWriteReads for all their work and support he gives to the book bloggers community & in addition to this I’ve reached the 5000 followers with the blog and I just CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! I don’t really know how to express how grateful I feel with each person who decides to follow my blog, it makes me happy and I promise that I’ll only improve every day to give you the best of myself. I LOVE YOU and you know I’m always there for you if you need me

Plus, I want to thank every book blogger who has included me in their lists for the Book Blogger Awards nominations, I didn’t expect all the love I received and my heart explodes with joy, thank you SO much, guys, you’re wonderful. ❀️

So during the month of June, I participated in the incredible PopCulture Readathon and my personal goal was simply to read as much as I could, so even though I didn’t read how much I wanted, I read what I could and that’s fine with me, let’s say I made it πŸ˜…Β This was one of the best and most enjoyable readathons in which I’ve participated, I’m absolutely in love with it and I hope I can participate in the future when I feel like reading more, so I can get more out of it. 😍 Even so, I had a lot of fun, I loved it and I read an incredible fantasy, I participated in a blog tour where I discovered a magical book with an incredible atmosphere, a unique mystery, an unexpected short novel, the end of a series which left me with mixed feelings & I DNF a very popular book.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β I also want to talk a little about my current reading, so without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post, remember that I love to know what you think, so let me know everything in the comments, I LOVE YOU & let’s get started! ❄️Read More »

July TBR | Catching up with my Readings & PopCulture Readathon β„️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of July. This month will be the month where I’ll try to catch up on my readings after having a very bad June, thank God it was a pretty short month for me because I was urgent to start with a new month and new energy. πŸ’« I know I say this every month, you probably think I’m crazy, but I’m excited for this month and I think it will be the month when I finally read a lot and catch up on many readings I’ve been wanting to read since the beginning of the year. 😍

I’ve planned this structure where I’ve chosen books that I’m really excited about, some ARCs and new releases, in this way, I think I’ll be able to defeat the reading slump and stay motivated throughout the month.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β In addition to these plans, I’ll be participating in PopCulture Readathon 🀩 , which not only sounds incredible but IS INCREDIBLE. When I found out about it on Twitter, I knew that I had to participate even when I wasn’t reading anything at the time. I LOVE the idea, is inspired by movies from the ’90s! I think it’s brilliant and I love how Whitney, the creator, has organized everything in a way that we all have many options and a wide range of promps and boards: Teen Dream Family Affair” “Thrill Ride & The Adult Table, which I LOVE! I also think that there’s no specific goal, you can do it as you like and how it resonates with you, try to fill the board you choose or you can do it in a bingo-style or as you want, in my case, I’ll try to read as many books as I can of the board that I’ve chosen. 😊  In case you want to know more about the readathon and places to find it, I’ll leave you all the links here above and I’m very happy to see that many of us will be participating or, in my case, trying to participate, so it will be even more fun!

❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ Before starting I want to thank you for being there for me throughout the month of June supporting my work on the blog and to me as a person, I don’t deserve you, you’re wonderful and I’m absolutely proud and happy to be part of the community. I know that lately, our family that we have created here, has been somewhat problematic in general, so I want to let you know that this will always be a safe place for you, as positive as it can be and you’ll always have all the freedom to express yourself as you want to do it. I also want to say that if you’re feeling uncomfortable or un-motivated, please don’t hesitate to stay away for a while if it’s what you need, it’s totally understandable and your mental health comes first. I LOVE YOU & I’m planning a discussion on how to combat reading slump for this month if you’re interested stay around because I know that sadly many of us are going through the same thing, but I know that we going to do it so much better this month, July will be our month of reading! ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️

I have a huge stack of books planned to share with you below, I’ve decided to choose a book for each promp on the board because I think it’s fun and I just wanted to choose to have a lot of variety and possibilities, even so, I’m aware that I’ll not read all this and it’s ok, I still wanted to try to read as much as I can.Β πŸ₯°Β I’m excited to share it with you, let me know EVERYTHING in the comments & without further ado, LET’S START! ❄️ Read More »
