The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars, One of Us Is Lying is the story of what happens when five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.
Pay close attention and you might solve this.
On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
AndSimon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app.
Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention, Simon’s dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn’t an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he’d planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who’s still on the loose?
Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.”
🎃 Hi babes! I hope you’re having a great day. Today I bring you my TBR of the month of October, where I tell you about the readings that I’ve planned for this month. October, as we all know, is the the horror month and another thing that I like as much as watching horror movies is reading books with a spooky or mystery theme, so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing this month. I think I created a great list, which has me very excited, but in fact, I planned a totally different one at first, but then I changed my mind at the last moment and I think this list fits much better with the theme of this month. I did such a good job with my reading in September, that I honestly feel excited about adding a little more books than usual to my list this month, I’ll not be pushing myself so hard, but I want to have several choices in case I can read them all, which is always the goal, but even if I can’t, it will be fine. I have 7 book in my TBR: some ARCs, New Releases, another re-reading, which I’m really enjoying doing and an exciting surprise!🎃
🌸I’ll be having vacations this month, I think for 2 weeks, they’ll start on the 16th, we plan this with my boyfriend during the year and I’ll be taking a break from the blog for that weeks. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing this and this blog is my baby, but every year I always need to have some time for myself, it helps me a lot to rest, for myself and for my mental health of course. But then I’ll return as always, I’ll be obviously reading during those days that I’m not here and when I return I’ll tell you everything about it 🌸Read More »
🌸 Guys!, I bring you excellent news today, in general I never post on Sunday but I’m so excited about this that I can’t wait to share this news with you.🌸 The blog has reached the wonderful amount of 2000 followers (2004 so far) and I have nothing but thanks words to all of you who have pressed that little button to subscribe to my blog, either via WordPress or by e-mail, to follow all my content. I have so many feelings right now, THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY. The only thing I can think is that you’re all really the best, each one of those beautiful 2000 people who have decided to give me their support are incredible. THANK YOU! I remember telling you, when I just reached the 1000 followers, how proud I was of what I had created, and I still am, every day that I see my blog grow and grow I feel that I have created a unique space, something wonderful where I can share my love for reading with all of you. Also what I appreciate most about this amazing community is the support I have felt from all of you from the beginning, not only since I created the blog but since joining Goodreads so long ago. I remember starting to write some very short reviews, because my English was a disaster lol (still not so good, I know lol) and I was so embarrassed to make the ridiculous, I mean, I had that fear that people would get upset cause I was writing in a language that, although I loved and was very excited to learn, I still didn’t handle it at all. And on the contrary I found myself with so adorable and sweet people that supported me and pushed me to continue and not give myself up, to be better and honestly every day today after almost 4 years of belonging fully to the bookish community I feel that it has been one of the best things I’ve done, it’s a constant learning experience, a lot of fun, where you meet lovely people and share your bookworm thoughts with other people who think and feel like you, it’s just wonderful. 😍 I don’t want to do this excessively long, cause I’m starting to feel too emotional, just remember that from my small place in the world you’ll always have my support, I want you to continue doing what you love, to fight for your dreams and be very happy. 🌸 Thank you so much guys!🌸 Read More »
