5 Popular Authors I Haven’t Read Yet 👓

ðŸ‘“ Hi, bookish friends! How are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best reading.❤️ Today I’m super excited to bring you what will be my last post for a few weeks, since as I’ve told you before, I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off starting Monday, but I still wanted to bring you one more post before then to have fun and share together. ðŸ˜Š So I decided to bring you today a mini list where I’ll share with you 5 of those popular authors I haven’t read yet (but, want to). I think that besides the fact that I love sharing this kind of stuff here on the blog, it will also be a super useful way for me to remember how much I really want to read these authors’ books, because I know they’re all super talented and I’ve heard the best things. I also think it’s great to have the chance to share with you these authors so we can exchange opinions. I would love to know if you’ve read any of them and how you feel about their work, what are your faves, etc. I think it’s a good and interesting topic for discussion. ðŸ¥°

My plan today is to mention each author in no specific order and also to share with you some points as to why I’m interested in reading these authors. ðŸ‘ðŸ» I really have no reason not to have read them yet, that’s why I won’t talk extensively about that, since there’s not much to say, but I wanted to make it a bit more interactive, so I’ll share, as I said, some positive points why they’re still on my TBR. ðŸ˜ On the other hand, I’ll also be sharing the books, of each respective authors, that are on my TBR, so you can leave me your opinion about them and let me know what you think.
I hope it’s something entertaining to read, and if you’d like to do it on your own blog, please do! I’d love to see other readers’ choices as well. ðŸŒŸ

I hope you enjoy it, thanks for always being there to support me and the blog, I deeply appreciate it! See you soon when I get back from my weeks off with more content and new challenges. I love you all!!! ðŸ’ž & without further ado, let’s get started! ðŸ‘“

‼️ PS: I have a review on the calendar that I’ll be uploading on September 15th, so I hope you enjoy that once it’s posted.

I hope you’re having the most wonderful day & you’re starting the week in the best way!❤️ Today I’m very excited because it’s the beginning of what will be the end of the year post series that I’m very excited to share with you! ðŸ¥º To open this week I want to start with one of the most fun and beautiful posts to do and admire, and it’s the post where I show you all my favorite covers of this 2020!!! ðŸ˜ I started with these posts two years ago, so I’ll leave you here my favorite covers of 2018 & 2019 in case you want to check them out, they’re also books that sound incredible, but as always in these posts, I choose to focus 100% on the covers dedicating this space to admire the beauty and incredible work of the illustrators. ðŸ‘ðŸ» ðŸ‘ðŸ»
I don’t have a specific number to choose my covers, I’ll only be showing you those that have captivated me and have become an obsession for me to look at & also, this is a personal opinion so I understand that you think that I’ve left some out or that someones I’ve chosen aren’t that impressive, but
that’s the magic of sharing, right? different opinions are gold. So, I’m a cover lover and although I know that books should not be judged by them, today they’ll have the distinction they deserve. 🤩
I hope you like this post a lot, so make yourself comfortable, enjoy the view & let’s get started!

September TBR | The Month I Want to Read It ALL: Latinx Book Bingo & Exciting ARCs ðŸŒ»

ðŸŒ» Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of September. Can you believe that there are only 4 months until the end of the year? It’s just so crazy, but looking at how our 2020 has been maybe it’s a good thing, right? ðŸ‘ðŸ»
I’m very excited about my plans for this month because I just coming out of my reading slump and I feel ready to read a little bit more, which is great! Even so, I’ll not promise that I’ll read each of the books that I’ve planned because I know that sometimes I lose control and I get a little ambitious lol, but I do want to try to read as much as I can and the most important thing is that I hope to enjoy the process. ðŸ˜Š Of course,
I want to thank you for always supporting me, August has been a great month for the blog and also for me, and in large part I owe it to you and to every comment of love that means the world for me, so I never want to miss the chance to say THANK YOU and I really appreciate what you do for me. ðŸ¥º

Perhaps you have noticed that now there’s a small sunflower accompanying this month’s title and that means that spring will be coming this month to Argentina, so I’m planning to focus on reading some contemporary books that I’ve had for a while, since I feel that the warmer weather is perfect for it. ðŸ¥° So, this month I’ll be participating in a Readathon and that’s Latinx Book Bingo and will take place from September 15 to October 15, which is Hispanic Heritage Month, is hosted by Paola, Allie (Allie With Books), and Sofia (Bookish Wanderess). For this Readathon the girls have created a Bingo Borad, of course, which I’ll show you below and maybe even though some of my readings will coincide with some promps, I’ve decided to focus on the books I already own, so in general my challenge will be to read as many books by Latinx authors and representations as humanly possible throughout the month of September, maybe I’ll also be reading some in October, but you know that I usually focus more on spooky books during that month, so my goal in September is to read as much as I can. ðŸ˜ I love supporting my people and this wonderful idea, so if you didn’t know about it yet and you feel like it, I invite you to participate by at least reading a couple of books or just one book by a Latinx author, that would be incredible to show your support. ðŸ’ž
Apart from this
I’ll also be focusing on my ARCs and I have several Blog Tours in which I will be participating as well, I feel super excited for them, because they are books that I’m dying to read and share the experience with you. ðŸ™ŒðŸ»

I think that this month I’ll not be using my “Back Up Pile” because I’ll already be adding a lot of books by Latinx authors, so I want to focus mainly on them, and I’ll see as the month progresses. I’m super excited to share everything that I’ll be reading this month ðŸ˜„, I hope you enjoy it and tell me what you’ll be reading in the comments, you know that I love chatting with you. Now, without further ado, let’s get started! ðŸŒ»

August TBR | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Trying a New Category! â„️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of August. SO excited to be sharing another month of possible readings with you, I always have SO MUCH FUN! Ok, so this month I’ve planned a somewhat ambitious TBR… maybe, I know I’m coming out of my Reading Slump, so all these plans are always keeping in mind that I want to take it easy, but I still wanted to add a little more book options than I usually put, since I’ll be inaugurating a new section in my TBRs from now on, which I hope will help me to be more relaxed with respect to my lists and have a greater variety of options according to my mood. ðŸ¤© Super excited to share it s with you but before, I want to come back to thank you for the incredible July that you’ve made me go through, filled with love and support… THANK YOU, my beautiful friends, here for an even better August. ðŸ‘ðŸ» You know that if you want me to support you with anything you can send me an e-mail or find me on Twitter, I’m always more than happy to give you a hand with what I can & I’ll be doing a LOT of blogs hopping this month, I’m looking forward to seeing that it’s been happening on your blog!  ðŸ˜

So going back to my reading this August, I have many plans!! First, I want to participate in #ARCAugust because it’s the perfect time to read as many ARCs as possible and so feel more relaxed about it, catching up with them. I have a selection of ARCs that I’m really excited about, I have several sequels, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing what will happen in these stories.
Then I’ll also be participating in the Latinx Readathon, a Readathon hosted by Sofia (Aelin’s Kingdom), Nikkie (Nikkie Reads), Jane Josée (Big Black Books) & ( lou reading things ), I leave you all the links so that you follow these wonderful girls & this Readathon is obviously all about reading books by Latinx authors and/or that the book contains some kind of Latinx representation in them, but it also includes many super fun proms in an incredible bingo that the girls have created. My decision to participate was a last-minute thing because I didn’t know about Readathon, but when I knew it I really had to do it to show my support for this incredible idea and as Latina, I feel super proud of this incredible work, so if you want to join in it’s not too late, you can do it simply by picking up a book from a Latinx author. All the information is in the Twitter account, which you can access by clicking on the name itself and I hope you like it and decide to support the idea! ❤️
I know it will not be possible for me to read a book for each on of the promps because they’re many, so I decided to do a bingo line and I’ll be reading 3 books for that, which I’ll share with you in a moment and I almost forgot, the readathon takes place throughout the whole month of August. ðŸ˜Š

And finally, because this is getting long (to no one’s surprise ðŸ˜‚ ) I want to share with you my new section, where I’ll be piling even more books to add to my TBR, I know it sounds crazy, but my idea is something like this: This section will be called “The Back-Up Pile” in there I’ll have a mini-list with possible readings, what does this mean? Well, sometimes and after going through my reading slump, I realized that my reading mood has been changing a lot and sometimes I don’t feel really motivated to read something that’s already in my TBR originally or maybe I just want to change the genre, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a backup list where I can choose some readings that I already own, some that remain from my past TBR and I didn’t get to read or just new buys and releases that I’m really excited about, in this way I think my TBRs will be more fun and didactical & I’ll also have more options just in case I feel like reading something different during the month.  ðŸ¥°
I hope you get what I mean, I know it sounds a bit messy, but once I show it to you I know you’ll understand better. Let me know in the comments if you like the idea, if it would be something that would work for you or if you would like to try it, I would love that & obviously, let me know everything about the books in this section, I would LOVE to know your thoughts!  ðŸ˜

Now, without further ado, I LOVE YOU  ðŸŒ» & let the books party begin! ❄️ Read More »

July TBR | Catching up with my Readings & PopCulture Readathon â„️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of July. This month will be the month where I’ll try to catch up on my readings after having a very bad June, thank God it was a pretty short month for me because I was urgent to start with a new month and new energy. 💫 I know I say this every month, you probably think I’m crazy, but I’m excited for this month and I think it will be the month when I finally read a lot and catch up on many readings I’ve been wanting to read since the beginning of the year. 😍

I’ve planned this structure where I’ve chosen books that I’m really excited about, some ARCs and new releases, in this way, I think I’ll be able to defeat the reading slump and stay motivated throughout the month. 👏🏻 In addition to these plans, I’ll be participating in PopCulture Readathon 🤩 , which not only sounds incredible but IS INCREDIBLE. When I found out about it on Twitter, I knew that I had to participate even when I wasn’t reading anything at the time. I LOVE the idea, is inspired by movies from the ’90s! I think it’s brilliant and I love how Whitney, the creator, has organized everything in a way that we all have many options and a wide range of promps and boards: Teen Dream Family Affair” “Thrill Ride & The Adult Table, which I LOVE! I also think that there’s no specific goal, you can do it as you like and how it resonates with you, try to fill the board you choose or you can do it in a bingo-style or as you want, in my case, I’ll try to read as many books as I can of the board that I’ve chosen. 😊  In case you want to know more about the readathon and places to find it, I’ll leave you all the links here above and I’m very happy to see that many of us will be participating or, in my case, trying to participate, so it will be even more fun!

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Before starting I want to thank you for being there for me throughout the month of June supporting my work on the blog and to me as a person, I don’t deserve you, you’re wonderful and I’m absolutely proud and happy to be part of the community. I know that lately, our family that we have created here, has been somewhat problematic in general, so I want to let you know that this will always be a safe place for you, as positive as it can be and you’ll always have all the freedom to express yourself as you want to do it. I also want to say that if you’re feeling uncomfortable or un-motivated, please don’t hesitate to stay away for a while if it’s what you need, it’s totally understandable and your mental health comes first. I LOVE YOU & I’m planning a discussion on how to combat reading slump for this month if you’re interested stay around because I know that sadly many of us are going through the same thing, but I know that we going to do it so much better this month, July will be our month of reading! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I have a huge stack of books planned to share with you below, I’ve decided to choose a book for each promp on the board because I think it’s fun and I just wanted to choose to have a lot of variety and possibilities, even so, I’m aware that I’ll not read all this and it’s ok, I still wanted to try to read as much as I can. 🥰 I’m excited to share it with you, let me know EVERYTHING in the comments & without further ado, LET’S START! ❄️ Read More »

Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag | 2020 ðŸŽ

🎍 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having an incredible day and a very nice week, especially enjoying all your reading.❤️ Today I’m super excited because believe it or not, that moment of the year has come again where we’re going to summarize a little how my year of reading is going so far with this tag that called: The Mid-Year Freak Out Book Tag 😍. I can’t believe that the year is happening so fast, but somehow I’m glad because it’s one of the most intense years for humanity, so I hope that next year will be better and we’ll be more peaceful, calm and healthy. 🤞🏻 I confess that it’s not being my best year in terms of reading, but I think it makes sense because it’s due a lot to the times we’re living, and especially to stress and things, so I’m not bothered by what I’ve read, and I know I still have many months ahead of me to find incredible books. I hope that your year is going in the best way possible and above all, that you’re finding great readings to escape a little of all thing happening, but don’t be so hard on yourself if you haven’t been able to read as much as you want, these are difficult times, so it’s ok to dedicate more time to yourself and to do other things. 😊 I hope you enjoy the tag, my love, I’m super excited to share with you many of my readings from this 2020, I always have a lot of fun doing this tag, and it will also be interesting to see a summary of my year answering each question. So without further ado, LET’S START! 🎍

Top 5 || My Most Anticipated Books of 2020 ðŸ“–💫

💫 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings!❤️ I was thinking a lot this last week and I realized that I hadn’t yet shared with you my most anticipated books of next year, so I had to fix that. Even so, instead of making a list of 10 or more books, I’ve reduce my list a lot to my top 5 most anticipated books of 2020. 👏🏻 I’ve decided to do this because I know that as the year progresses I’ll have my “new monthly releases” posts and more thousands of other books that I’ll find out about, and I’ll end up adding too many books to my TBR that I’ll not read later, that’s why I decided to keep my list small and manageable, and then once the year has come I’ll know that these are the books that I want to focus on or that I want to give priority to, so this in addition to being a list of my most anticipated will also be a sort of TBR for the year, because I’m completely sure that I’ll read each one of them in 2020. 🥰
I feel super comfortable doing this kind of small list, so I hope that all this makes sense to you and that you enjoy the posts, I also hope you find in my list a book that’s of your interest. 🌷  Now, without further ado let’s start, my loves 💫
