The End of the Year Book Tag | 2021 Editionย ๐ŸŒŸย

ย ๐ŸŒŸย Hi, beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having an amazing day, full of the most wonderful reads! โค๏ธย Today I’m bringing you an already iconic book tag that every year comes to life so we can all catch up a bit or summarize in some way how our year has been going & this is of course: THE END OF THE YEAR, book tag!ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปย
Of course, it’s November right now, so there’s still a month left in the year where I can read a book I absolutely love and it won’t be included here, anyway, you know that in December I’ll be making thousands of lists with the best, the worst, the most surprising and disappointing books of the year among other things, so this tag will be basically about all the books I’ve read in the year until this day.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย
Here we’ll go over how I’ve been doing, some of my faves so far and some plans for next year as well. I think it’s a super fun, informative, and very interesting tag to read in general, so even though I won’t be tagging people this time, I invite you to do it if you feel like it too and let me know below, I’d love to check that out!
Now, yeah, not much more to say, I hope you enjoy it a lotย ๐Ÿฅฐ, I hope it’s a light read for today and that it serves to catch up a little bit. I love you, thank you for the support regarding my blogiversary, your words touched my soul and made me very happy.ย ๐Ÿฅบ Now without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!

โ˜€๏ธย Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month!โค๏ธย Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of October, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of November!. And here we are! another month has passed and we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the year, guys, that’s SO crazy!ย ๐Ÿ˜ฎ the year flew by completely, I hope you all are taking it easy, it has been a strange and changing year so my best wishes to you for the last 2 months ahead of us.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย  So, my October was pretty good, you know I love horror season, so I’ve been enjoying it a lot, watching horror movies as I love it so much, and also of course with some spooky books as well.ย ๐ŸŒ™ย  Maybe I should share with you all about my favorite horror movies, I never thought about it, but even if it’s not bookish related it could be fun, so let me know if it’s something you would like to see in the future.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปย

Before we start what we come here today for, I want to share with you that this is a very important month for me in the blog because I’ll be celebrating my 5th blogiversary! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!?!?!ย ๐ŸŽ‰ ย it seems like only yesterday that I started my baby blog, time flies when you do something you enjoy, right? Because of this, and also because I’m looking forward to a little change, I would like to start making changes to the blog in terms of image, I’m working on creating new headers, logos, and cute little things, to give it a new look and feel like it’s more like myself, you know?ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I just want my blog to look more like me every day, and when I grew up myself in life I feel that my blog has to reflect that too, so I feel ready to give it a little touch-up. Obviously, I’m not an artist, sorry about that ๐Ÿ˜…, I have no idea about design, so it will be a month of trial and error. So if you see some changes happening, that’s why.
I also want to tell you that I LOVE you, thank you so much for supporting me and being there during all these years, I’m having a great time in this community!ย ๐Ÿ˜šย

Love It Awww GIF by Rosanna Pansino

So, in terms of reading this has been a great month, I’m very happy I’ve been able to start reading more consistently than in previous months where it was all disaster and reading slumps lol, I think finally the Halloween spirit came to save me and revive the reader in me. I ended up reading 5 books during the month of October, which coming from reading almost nothing is more than positive for me, so let’s celebrate!!! *little dance*ย ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปย
Honestly, even though I read a good amount, I didn’t read any books that I’m passionate about or loved completely, which is kind of sad because I picked books that I thought I would love, but well that’s ok, anyway, I got two solid 4 stars and that’s always great!ย ๐Ÿ˜ and also I have a lot of books ahead of me for this month of November, where, as I told you,
it will be all about catching up a bit with my reading and challenges that I have set for myself in general.ย ๐ŸŒŸย

Now, without further ado, because my intros are always SO DAMN LONGย ๐Ÿ˜‚ , let’s jump right into today’s post, I’m excited to share what I’ve read and my thoughts with you, as well as a little bit about what I’ll be reading during the monthโ€ฆ. Let’s get started!!! โ˜€๏ธย

Spooky Season Post #5 | 25+ Young Adult Horror: 2021 Book Releases ๐ŸŒ™

๐ŸŒ™ Hi bookish friends, how are you? I hope you’re doing great, having a day full of the best reading. ๐Ÿ–ค Today I bring you another of my spooky season posts where we’ll be exploring in depth my most anticipated releases in the young adult horror genre for this 2021. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Following with the thread of all these posts of the month, these will be books that are mainly within the horror genre or maybe there are some exceptions of subcategories within this genre, but in general they’re all books focused on spooky themes, creepy atmospheres, disturbing plots and questionable characters. ๐ŸŽƒ
As always, I hope you can find in this list some new books to add to your TBR or some new authors that maybe you haven’t read yet and are interested in doing so.
 ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

The following books aren’t categorized under any specific order, I just searched for all of them and I’ll put them randomly below, of course, all of them are this year’s releases and you’ll also have the synopsis for more information, anyway if you want to know the exact date or add it to your TBR I’ll leave you a direct link to Goodreads, as always.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š
As I know this isn’t a genre that resonates with all of you, I’ve organized a series of lists where you may find other subcategories or genres to enjoy during this season, such as middle-grade books or mystery/thrillers. ๐ŸŒฒย Here’s the list of all the posts in case you want to check them out as well!
: Spooky Season Post #1 | 31 Young Adult Horror Books to Keep You Up at Nightย | Spooky Season Post #2 | Middle-Grade Spooky Books! 20 Scary Titles, plus: 2021 New Releases | Spooky Season Post #3 | Adult Horror Books! The Creepiest Books to Read With the Lights Off, plus: 2021 New Releases & Spooky Season Post #4 | Mystery/Thriller Book List: My Favorites, On My TBR & 2021 New Releases!.

A small clarification before I continue is that obviously I’ll not be adding all the books within the young adult horror genre that have come out this year, but those that I was looking forward to the most or that I’m looking forward to the most. Maybe in this way you can find some you haven’t heard of yet.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย
Of course, you’re more than welcome to comment below with all your thoughts about these books, about horror in general or about what you are reading right now, whatever, I love to chat with you!
Thank you so much for supporting this series throughout the month and being there during each post, you guys are EVERYTHING!ย ๐Ÿฅฐย
Now yes, without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post, and let’s get started!

September Wrap Up (or something like that) & October TBR | I’M BACK! Lots of Blogging Plans & a Huge Spooky Pile of Books for Horror Month ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

ย ๐ŸŒ™ย Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! โค๏ธย Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of September, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of October!.ย I’m back babies! I’ve missed you SO MUCHย ๐Ÿฅบ, and I’m super excited to be back after these two super necessary weeks off, where I’ve taken a total break from all kinds of social media and even of my own phone, I know that doing this always recharges me to come back to my routine a little more positive and with better energy.โšก๏ธ So obviously, I hope you all have had the best weeks and overall a great September, which by the way, where did it go? it has flown by for me! Feel free to share with me everything you’ve been doing & reading during the month, I’m really dying to know and chat with you about it.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย
I don’t want to bore you with facts about my personal life so I’ll be brief, I’ve been basically visiting family, and since most of them live in rural areas or far away in the countryside, I’ve been in contact with nature which I loveย ๐ŸŒณ & on the other hand, I’ve made a really important and huge
purchase together with my boyfriend, and I’m very excited to tell you about it, and that’s that I’ve bought my first PC GAMER!!!!
ย ๐Ÿ˜ญ
ย ๐Ÿ˜ญย  I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this ever here, but I love playing videogames, so I’m super excited to finally have a better setting where to play and spend time, also obviously this computer is like a thousand times better than my laptop, so I can possibly generate more content for the blog, since it works faster and has a better system, so it’s something super positive and a treat that we deserved to have in our lives.

As for reading I’m sorry to tell you that I’ll have to disappoint you a bit because I haven’t read anything these past weeksย ๐Ÿ˜•, I haven’t really had the chance and have decided to just take a reading break as well, but I did read one book before I left, and I liked it, and I’m in the middle of a reread which I’ll tell you more about it later.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Having a book blog and saying you didn’t read always feels a little embarrassing, but it’s also nice because I’m glad I can admit when I don’t feel like reading and tell you guys it’s ok if that happens to you too, we’re human and sometimes we can’t do everything, right?ย ๐Ÿ’ž But all this has a bright side because now I feel ready to read, read and read this October which, if you follow the blog for a while you already know is my favorite month to read spooky books, actually it’s more like an excuse where I have a reason to read them because I LOVE those kind of horror genres, or dark plots, and all that cool stuff!ย ๐Ÿ‘ปย ๐Ÿ‘ปย ๐Ÿ‘ปย
Sometimes I hate that I have to live in this hemisphere because it’s spring, and it doesn’t fit at all with what creepy season represents but well, I’ll work with what I have like every year ๐Ÿ˜‚, I’ll read creepy stuff surrounded by flowers, and that’s fine with me!
๐ŸŒบย

As I always like to do, I want to take a little paragraph to thank you guys for the love and support you always have for me and the blog, you know that this space is more than important to me and having you in every post there for me means the world, these connections that we create will always be in my heart and to think that I am at least a small part of someone’s life out there feels beautiful. Thank you SO SO much for these almost 5 years living this experience with me.ย ๐Ÿ˜

you're awesome GIF by Kevin Ross

A little preview of what I want to do for the blog this monthย ๐Ÿ˜Š, is that besides all the spooky themed posts, which will have among them recommendations and tops, I’ll also be introducing a new much more relaxed section where we’ll talk about books (I meanโ€ฆ unexpected.) and I also have a super fun but creppy post in mind that will involve over 30 books!!! ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
I hope you decide to stay and share this month with me and I hope you enjoy today’s post, where of course,
I’ll be sharing more than anything a huge stack with those possible books I’ll be reading in October, all of them or at least most of them, with dark themes, of course! ๐ŸŒ˜ย Now without further ado, make yourself something nice to drink and let’s get started!ย ๐ŸŒ™ย

5-Star Book Predictions Update ๐ŸŒŸ

ย ๐ŸŒŸย Hi, hermosos amigos! I hope you’re having a wonderful day surrounded by the best readings! โค๏ธ Today, I decided to bring you an update or something like a wrap-up of my 5-star book predictions, not only of the lists I’ve made for this year, but we’ll also review those predictions from last year to see how I’ve done.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š I was going through some old posts these days, thinking about what post to do and I realized that I had never brought you a complete update as such of all the 5-star prediction lists I’ve done over the years, and you know I LOVE doing those types of posts, as I think they’re a lot of fun, so I thought it was time to have all those books organized in one post to also review if I’ve been right about some of these readings with my predictions.ย ๐Ÿค”
I think it will be fun to chat a little bit about each of these books, honestly, I was surprised to see that I’ve read most of them already, almost without realizing it, but I love it because this is a great opportunity to bring you this postย ๐Ÿ’ซ, share a little bit with you and obviously chat about how right I was about each book and which ones I’ve ended up being disappointed with.
I’d also love it if you could share your 5-star predictions with me, and I’d love to know how you’ve been doing with that!ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย

Obviously, I plan to create another one of these lists with new books soon, as I love doing it, it’s a great challenge that without even knowing it keeps you pretty motivated to read, so not only I’ll continue to do it, but I highly recommend it if you haven’t tried it yet.ย ๐Ÿฅฐ It’s an interesting way to see how much you really know about yourself, what things you like to read or which ones are really for you and which ones aren’t.
Personally, I think it’s a lot of fun, soโ€ฆ I hope this will be a relaxed post, just to review a few of my past readings and have a post solely dedicated to my 5-star predictions. I hope you like it a lot, that you decide to share all your opinions with me and without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!
ย ๐ŸŒŸย

โ€ผ๏ธย PS: Any rating of 4.5-star will be taken as a win for me and as a completed goal, since by my standards a 4.5-star rating is too close to perfection, I’m just a bit picky sometimes. I’ll still take them as 5-star in this post.

ย ๐Ÿ’žย All the links you need will be below, so you can check out my full reviews or add the book to your bookshelves.

Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag | 2021 โ›…๏ธ

โ›…๏ธย Hi guys, I hope you’re having a great day, full of the best reads.โค๏ธ Today, guess what? I bring you one of the most iconic book tags of the community, the Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag!!! Where I’ll share with you a lot of info about my reads of the year so far, from those books I loved to those that disappointed me, and more fun stuff. ย ๐Ÿ˜
I’m super excited to share this post with you because besides being fun to do, I also like to know your opinions and then chat a bit about it; I think that’s also the fun part of this process.
It’s also an excellent way to see how I’ve been doing it during the year with regards to the books I’ve been reading and all that; anyway, I won’t be stressing about it, I’ll just focus on making it fun, and maybe it will be fun for you too. ๐Ÿ˜Šย
I’ve been tagged to do this by
Caro from Bookcheshirecat ย ๐ŸŒน & Amy from A Fangirl’s Opinion, so thank you SO much, my beautiful friends, for having me in mind and tag me; otherwise, I’m a mess and always forget to do the tag lol. Of course, you can’t miss their blogs, both are beautiful, and their content is fantastic so you won’t regret it. ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย

So before I start, as always, I like to take a little moment to thank you for being there in every post, commenting and supporting my content, also
thank you so much for the constant love; I swear I feel it deep inside my heart, and I appreciate it immensely.ย ๐Ÿฅฐ

Book Recommendations | Books with Weird & Unusual Plots ๐ŸŒ˜

๐ŸŒ˜ Hi, friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best readings.โค๏ธ Today I’m super excited because I bring you a post that I’ve been wanting to do for a couple of weeks, I thought it would be fun to share with you my favorite books with the strangest and most peculiar plots. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป  If you follow my blog for a while you already know that I adore rare books that come out of the box and dare to do something new and innovative with their plots, especially I LOVE when mundane or everyday life is mixed with paranormal, strange elements, or magic, as well as I love plots that focus a little on giving life to their characters and settings, taking the time to develop them in an atmospheric and addictive way, but never leaving aside that strange and kind of dark vibe that pushes you to keep reading to know what will happen. ๐Ÿ˜  These are the types of books that are 100% for me, that’s why in this post I wanted to bring them all here together to share them with you.

I know that this type of book will not be for everyone, and that’s fine, I like to bring you particular and different things so that we can also share our experiences and thoughts, so if it isn’t for you, that’s super valid too, let me know all in the comments.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š So, as I was saying, this time it will be all about atmospheric, dark, and kind of twisted books at times, without a doubt, they all have the same characteristic that they’re all dark and involve a bit of the horror genre at times in different measures.ย ๐ŸŒฒ But they’re all highly addictive books with unexpected twists and gripping mysterious plots, so I highly recommend them if these are factors that resonate with you.ย ๐ŸŒŸย
In addition,
I’ve also decided to include some books with these characteristics that I haven’t read yet, but they’re in my TBR so you can have more options and also add them to your TBR if you want.
So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this post very much, have an entertaining moment & LET’S GET STARTED!

๐Ÿ‚ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! โค๏ธ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of April. April was a very positive month for me in terms of reading, I’m more than happy to tell you that I FINALLY started to accommodate my schedules a little better to actually be able to READ, so that has me extremely pleased.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป On the other hand, I still have to learn to manage my times to be able to bring you more content, or at least other types of posts, I don’t want to fall into always bringing you the same things, you know? ๐Ÿ’ป So I’m working on it, but still super grateful to be able to continue maintaining this space that I love so much, and have your support that simply means the world to me, so thank you, friends! ๐Ÿฅบ

In other news, my business is doing very well luckily so that’s always something to celebrate, and also I’m super excited because there’s almost nothing left for the 6k followers on the blog! likeโ€ฆWHAT!!! ๐ŸŽ‰ I can’t believe it, I don’t deserve you, I’ve been blessed with all of you, it makes me happy that there are still people who want to be part of this small family, I love you so much!! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ So, well enough fangirling over you all for a second lol cause, I also want to share with you that I’ve started to watch Anime for the first time in my life, my brothers are obsessed, so they insisted that I should try so here I am, I finally did it and I’m really enjoying the experience, so let’s see how that go.๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป Also I started watching Doctor Who again because I have no control I love that series, so I started watching it from scratch and it’s ALL I need. โ˜„๏ธ PS: I’m watching SHADOW & BONE! ๐ŸฆŒ And loving it, my heart cannot with the perfection of the characters, I haven’t finished it yet, so I’ll tell you more once I do it, for now, I want to say that it’s an excellent job what they’ve done with this adaptation, I’m loving it. ๐Ÿ˜

Now having shared a little with you about what I’ve been doing in April, I want to tell you my plans for the month of May, which aren’t really many, is mainly to upload a little more content to the blog ๐Ÿ”ฅ, but I wouldn’t like to slow down my pace of reading so I’ll be focusing a lot on that, plus I’ll keep checking blogs and supporting your content, so expect to see a bit of me on your blog if you have one during this month too. โœจ

Love GIF by Chibird

Now, we go directly to what concerns us today, HAVE I READ SOMETHING DURING THE MONTH OF APRIL? YES, I have read! *celebration dance* ๐Ÿ’ƒ I’ve read 5 books, and I know it doesn’t sound like much compared to other bookish people, but it has been a great achievement for me coming from quite busy months, I finally feel that during the last two months I’ve been able to go back a little to my normality by reading a little more ๐Ÿ˜Š and also, always super positive, I’ve enjoyed each of my readings this month, which is incredible, not only that, but I really don’t think I’ve read a single bad book this month, so that’s great, really.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I’ve read a couple of spooky books with dark themes, and more intense atmospheres, but on the other hand, I’ve also given the chance to a super light reading that has surprised me for good. I read all my ARCs of the month (YAY!), I’ve also finished a series that I adore, and finally, I’ve read one of my 5-star predictions, which I’ll tell you more about below (I still plan to make a separate post about my 5 stars predictions for being more specific about it) ๐Ÿฅฐ Super excited to share with you my thoughts about all these books, I know that there are many reviews that I still have to write, but I promise that it’s something I will do soon, I’m thinking of a new format of quick reviews to be able to get up to date, but always as the main point to give you as much info as possible and all my thoughts. Thanks again, for EVERYTHING! I LOVE you and I wish you only happiness ๐Ÿ˜˜, now without further ado, because Sofi LOVES to talk apparently, lol โ€ฆ LET’S START!! ๐Ÿ‚

March Wrap Up & April TBR | I Finally Read SOME BOOKS! | Mini-Spooky Book List & Some 5-star Predictions ๐Ÿ‚

๐Ÿ‚ Hi, guys, I hope youโ€™re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & incredible moments!! โค๏ธ SO happy to have a moment to be able to share with you everything that Iโ€™ve been reading in the month of March plus, everything that I plan and will try to read during this month of April. ๐ŸŒŸ Every time I have the chance to sit down to write a post this year it’s like a double blessing since I don’t have much time on my hands, so I’m really happy to be here guys, as always! So this month has been super positive for me in terms of reading, but we will talk about it a little later, now I wanted to take the space to thank you for the support you have given me as a person and also to the blog this month, it means a lot. Especially with respect to my “DEFINITIVE BOOK BLOGGER LIST which I must say I’m very proud of, I think tourn out beautiful and also quite organized which I intended, also I’m very pleased that more of you can interact and support each other thanks to this list, and also share each other contents, give likes, and comment, I think that after all the controversy that has occurred recently regarding how little we are valued as book bloggers in the bookish community in general, we need more love ๐Ÿฅฐ, so this has been the perfect time to publish the list and thus show my support and be able to amplify our voices in some way, I know that we’re brilliant, we’re valuable and we do incredible and hard work with our contents so without a doubt, we deserve better and don’t let anyone make you think otherwise.  ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

We Got This Confidence GIF by The Bachelor - Find & Share on GIPHY

In terms of reading this March has been great! ๐Ÿ˜„ in fact much better than my previous months, maybe it doesn’t seem that I read SO MUCH to you but I did, in fact, I’ve read 5 books last month, most of them good but not impressive books, only one of them has really managed to conquer me completely, but I’m super excited to share my thoughts with you on each of these books. ๐Ÿ˜Š Some of them with dark tones, with a bit of mystery, on the other hand, a bit of magic in contemporary stories, which I usually enjoy a lot, and finally a few paranormal elements, as well. I really feel super proud to have been able to read more than two books lol, it’s a great achievement so let’s celebrate together!! ๐ŸŽ‰ I hope to read even more, though, in April *fingers crossed*

Before continuing I wanted to apologize because I know that I’m super late with my reviews of these books, some I’ve already reviewed, but I still need to review most of them, so I’m sorry, I tend to be very punctual with my reviews but that’s fine, life is like that now, and soon I’ll bring you some double reviews maybe and a full one for my favorite book of the month. So I’ll probably be brief here because I want to leave some of my feelings & thoughts for the reviews.โค๏ธ

For this month my plans are basically reading ๐Ÿ˜‚ย , aren’t those our plans every month, thought?! SHOCK! but not, seriously, I want to read, I’m feeling more and more eager to dedicate more time to my reading, and feeling that motivation again makes me happy, so I’ll take advantage of it while it lastsย ๐Ÿค“. I’ll surely be starting a new series, reading some ARCs as always & especially with the cold weather coming to my city hand in hand with autumn, I feel ready to read some spooky/creepy or perhaps suspense/mystery kind of books, something with a weird and atmospheric vibe.ย ๐ŸŒฒ So I’ll have a mini list to share with you, in addition to that within that list, I’ll be including some of my 5-star predictions to make it more fun. So I hope this is a very good month for EVERYONE & without further ado, I LOVE YOU โค๏ธ, I hope you enjoy the post, let me know everything in the comments, and LET’S GET STARTED!ย ๐Ÿ‚
