5 Popular Authors I Haven’t Read Yet 👓

👓 Hi, bookish friends! How are you? I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best reading.❤️ Today I’m super excited to bring you what will be my last post for a few weeks, since as I’ve told you before, I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off starting Monday, but I still wanted to bring you one more post before then to have fun and share together. 😊 So I decided to bring you today a mini list where I’ll share with you 5 of those popular authors I haven’t read yet (but, want to). I think that besides the fact that I love sharing this kind of stuff here on the blog, it will also be a super useful way for me to remember how much I really want to read these authors’ books, because I know they’re all super talented and I’ve heard the best things. I also think it’s great to have the chance to share with you these authors so we can exchange opinions. I would love to know if you’ve read any of them and how you feel about their work, what are your faves, etc. I think it’s a good and interesting topic for discussion. 🥰

My plan today is to mention each author in no specific order and also to share with you some points as to why I’m interested in reading these authors. 👏🏻 I really have no reason not to have read them yet, that’s why I won’t talk extensively about that, since there’s not much to say, but I wanted to make it a bit more interactive, so I’ll share, as I said, some positive points why they’re still on my TBR. 😍 On the other hand, I’ll also be sharing the books, of each respective authors, that are on my TBR, so you can leave me your opinion about them and let me know what you think.
I hope it’s something entertaining to read, and if you’d like to do it on your own blog, please do! I’d love to see other readers’ choices as well. 🌟

I hope you enjoy it, thanks for always being there to support me and the blog, I deeply appreciate it! See you soon when I get back from my weeks off with more content and new challenges. I love you all!!! 💞 & without further ado, let’s get started! 👓

‼️ PS: I have a review on the calendar that I’ll be uploading on September 15th, so I hope you enjoy that once it’s posted.

May Wrap Up & June TBR | My First Readathon of the Year, LGBTQ+ Books & Trying to Avoid a Reading Slump 🍂

🍂 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! ❤️ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of May, plus: What I’m going to read in the month of June!. 🥰 Where has this month gone, guys? I feel like yesterday was the day I uploaded my previous Wrap Up and TBR, it’s crazy how fast this year is going by, really WOW, we have to know how to enjoy each day to the fullest. So I don’t have much to tell you about this month, I think that more than anything the things that are happening in my country have impacted me a bit, in general, I’m very positive about the world even though I’m also very aware of everything happening, I always try to put the best face to the situation, but this time it has touched me a little more since my country has returned to Phase one, I’m from Argentina, for those who don’t know yet, so, yeah, everything has returned to Phase one and having a commercial business right now is a new challenge that I’m facing 😔, but I know that soon we’ll come out of this all together and stronger, I always have a lot of faith and I hope that the new restrictions are for the better. 💪🏻

In the midst of all this that’s happening out in the world, I’ve been trying to read, but again I feel I haven’t read as much as I would have liked, even so, I’m happy because I know that I always give my best and I’m at this stage where I allow myself to rest and focus more on myself and it’s also important to remind ourselves that putting ourselves first is essential 💞, but I do want to share with you that by the end of the month I’ve been able to achieve a very good balance between blogging, reading and working, so I’m super happy on that side because they’re those little achievements that I always talk to you about and that mean a lot. 😄

I have very exciting plans for the month of June, I feel optimistic that I’ll be able to achieve each of my goals this time, so I’m dying to share a little with you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 On the one hand, I’ve already thought of some blog posts, there’s a discussion one that has me super excited, where we’ll talk super honestly about blogging and our personal projects, but I also wanted to do something fun and original with respect to my list posts and recommendations, plus: maybe some book tags finally lol. On the other hand, I’ll be participating in the #LGBTQMonth which is a readathon hosting by Ross from Royal Bookshelf, he has created a super fun board to follow, where the main goal is, of course, to read books with characters or authors belonging to the LGBT+ community, so if you want to check it out, you should do it! you still have time to participate since this readathon lasts the whole month of June. 🌈 This has me super excited, I’ve already planned an amazing and diverse stack that I’ll be sharing with you below. I was also looking forward to some readathon this month as I’ve been feeling a bit slumpy, so I think it can be an entertaining way to get back to my reading rhythm and stay on track. 😊 I also thought that it would be a good idea to re-read a favorite, so even though I’ll not be putting here the books that I possibly want to re-read, I’ll keep it in mind if I need it during the month and I’ll share it with you too, you know re-reading is for me THE PERFECT WAY to get out of a reading slump, so without a doubt it’s a possibility for me. 🌟

As for my readings of the month, I’ve read 4 books, which is quite avarenge, not bad, and I’m glad to see that I’m always quite varied in terms of genres and even formats, so I like that cause allows me to share different aspects of each book with you & I’ve also enjoyed all of them which is always something to celebrate!!! 🥳 Before starting with the post I want to thank you very deeply for the support and love in each comment and of course with each like and visit as in each shared post. 🥺 I appreciate so much that you’re there for me each month and I hope to be giving you back a little of the same, I LOVE YOU, you’re wonderful & without further ado, we all have a wonderful month ahead of us, so let’s start planning it together!!! LET’S GO!!! 🍂

PS: Thank you for understanding that I don’t have so much time on my hands right now, every comment of support and love that I’ve received has made me move to tears. Knowing that you support me and will not forget me has made me feel deeply fortunate 😭 .

So today I’ll share with you first, my readings for December, which have obviously been much less than I expected, but they were still positive & I’ll also share with you my readings for this month!! I’m very excited about that because I plan to give my reading a little change and give myself something lighter, so I can read while I adjust to my new job and new schedules. 😊  So even though I won’t be able to read as much as always, I still hope to find wonderful readings this year so that I can continue to share only the best with you!! 😍
Fun Fact: I only needed 1 book more to finish my 2020 Goodreads Reading Challenge LOL, I think it’s funny because maybe I could have completed it, but I ended up reading 69 books in 2020 and that’s not bad at all!
 😂

So, I don’t want to make this introduction infinite like I always end up doing lol, you know me, I love talking to you, so to summarize, I’m grateful for the beginning of this new year, for the little blessings of every day and especially for you and for giving me a place in your life.❤️ Also, super excited to bring you new content this year and much, much more books to recommend and to discuss about. Now, without further ado, I can’t wait to share my past and future readings with you, so LET’S START! ☀️

Colorful Bookish Sundays | Prioritizing Books from my TBR 🩰

☀️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & amazing moments.❤️ Super excited for today’s post, this is the beginning of a new series of super chill posts that I’ll be bringing you every Sunday from now on! YAY!! 🥳 These will be our “Colorful Bookish Sundays” and it will be, basically, to organize my priority list, choosing some books from my Goodreads TBR to add to my list which I’ll check every month when creating my monthly TBRs, that way I hope to start reading those books that I’m most excited about, so they don’t end up in my TBR for years as many of them are already doing  😅
You may not know this, but I have a mini book list that I go to when I build my TBR every month, but it’s super outdated and I’ve been wanting to renew it for a while now, so I thought it would be a fun and different idea to do it, and also share with you the process and know your thoughts, which always helps me a lot to make decisions.

I’m looking to give to this post series a fun and relaxed look, so I decided to show you a specific color every Sunday, I LOVE some good beautiful covers and even more when there’s a beautiful color palette in them, so I think it could be interesting organize them by color, chat a little about them, and as always try to organize myself better with my books and my future readings  😍 & you can know what color we’ll play every Sunday based on the icon that will accompany the title, but I’ll also let you know below.

The dynamic will be to show you the selected books and then separate them by categories to finally make a decision of which one/ones will be my choice to add to my list of priorities and obviously, I would love to know what you think about them!  👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

This is an idea in progress, to be honest with you I’ve been thinking about it for only a couple of days, so there are details that I’m still thinking about and working on, but I’m generally happy to bring you posts on Sundays again, it seems like a fun idea and hopefully, it will be entertaining for both you and me. 🥺  I hope you like it, I know it sounds weird now and you’re probably thinking “Sofi, what are you doing?”  😂  but have patience, I promise I’ll do my best and we’ll see how the idea progresses over time. I LOVE YOU ❤️, thanks for the constant support, it means a lot to me, so now get comfortable, prepare your favorite drink and let’s start! ☀️

My TBR Jar | 30+ Books ⚱️

⚱️ Hi friends, I hope you’re having a beautiful day and you’re enjoying all your reading! ❤️ Today I’ve decided to start organizing my reading lists and I realized that I’ve never shared all the books that are in my TBR here, so I think it’s a good idea to do it now, not just to share with you and talk a little about them, but I also think it will help me to remember to prioritize them as well, and maybe start reading some in the coming months. 😊
I had a super extensive TBR jar at the beginning of the year, but I decided to do it again while doing my TBR Lows & Highs series, so from scratch, I decided to create my TBR jar with your help through my series of posts and then put in my Jar only those books that you think I should give a chance to and also those that have been in my TBR for years!  👏🏻 I really appreciate all the help that you have given me through my posts every week choosing one or more books for my TBR Jar, now I have a very solid list of books that I’ll be giving a chance over time, I also plan to try a chapter of some at some point and also share it with you. My goal is to finally give them a chance to decide if they’re for me or not and share my thoughts with you, some of them are really popular.
Of course, I would love to know your thoughts about each one of them, that would help me a lot and I think it will be a fun way to finally give them a chance. I hope you enjoy it, thank you SO SO much for the support and love of always 🥰, and without further ado, let’s get started! ⚱️ Read More »

TBR Lows & Highs #15 🌙

🌙 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings. Super excited cause this weekly series will be focused on helping me clean my Goodreads shelves and also prioritize some readings and organize myself in general. I LOVE this idea, I know that many of you already know it and do it as well, the creator is the incredible Destiny | Howling Libraries | 💫 whom I love as a human being and I respect a lot as a book blogger ❤️, so it’s really a pleasure to start with this new project especially because it’s created by someone who I admire a lot and that makes me very happy, I also really need help to organize my books, So here we go! 👏🏻

I wanted to give it my own twist to make it more fun and also fit my needs or what I hope to do with my books and my readings. So I’ve decided that as well as Destiny, I’ll be opening voting every week so that you can participate in the whole process and help me decide which books to prioritize, for this: I’ll ask you to vote for one of the books in the “LOWS” section and not only I’ll be adding it to my priority list, but I’ll also be creating my own TBR Jar with each of your choices!. So, every week the book you choose from my selection will be added to my TBR Jar and then at the end of the month, I’ll choose one of them to read and finally give a real chance to it. I’ll not be removing all my “LOWS”, only some if necessary, maybe one per week or sometimes none, I’ll be super honest about them and I hope you can help me make a decision anything can happen in these posts! LOL 🥰

I hope you like this idea, I think it will be fun, I’ll be cleaning my Goodreads shelves a bit, which is great, but you can also participate in the process and so will have a super interactive experience, so we can all have a little fun ❤️. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for the support always, from the bottom of my heart & LET’S START🌙Read More »

💫 Hi guys!! I hope you’re REALLY well, that you’re having a beautiful day and you’re enjoying your readings.💞
Lately as it’s very common during Pride Month I‘ve been seeing many people making LGBT + books lists, from those who recommend to those who come out this year and others, as myself bring you today, have chosen to share a list of books that although we haven’t read yet, we’re dying to do it very soon.
I plan later in the month to bring you my LGBT+ book recommendations as well, with books that I personally have loved, but first I wanted to share with you those who are still on my TBR.
🌈 I LOVE reading books that present characters that represent the LGBT+ community in a respectful and amazing way, I’m heterosexual, but I’ve always been a huge supporter of the community and I’m 100% on board in each movement, because nobody should fight and suffer for loving someone, so always here for all my beautiful queer people out there. 🌈
This list will consist of my Top 10 of the books that I’m most excited to read, they’ll not be in any order, because I’m honestly super excited by all these books and I’ve simply chosen 10 to not make of this an infinite list  😅
I hope you share with me your thoughts and feelings about these books if you have already read them, that will help me create a personal list with those books that I should prioritize and read soon.
I hope you enjoy it and hopefully, you’ll have a new title to make your TBR grow!!!
Without more further ado, let’s start! 💫Read More »

🍂 Hi guys, I hope you are all having the best day ever!💕 . Today I woke up with a lot of desire to make a Tag so, as always, I started my search and I came across with this little gem. I know it’s a short compared to other tags, but it’s very popular, I’ve seen a lot of people doing it and personally I love the questions, I think they’ll help us to keep getting to know each other better and it will be fun, so I can’t wait to start and share it with you!

This tag is called “My Life in Books”, I don’t know who is the creator, but if you know, please let me know it in the comments. I’ve seen it in Beatrice’s blog : @DreamlandBookBlog , I recommend you to check her blog out for more fun content.🍂

Monthly & Contemporary-A-Thon TBR [2018]

Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME (5)

🌸 Hi babes! I hope you’re having a great day. Today I bring you my TBR of the month of September, where I tell you about the readings that I’ve planned for this month. I’m super excited for this month I feel it will be super fun with the new experience of participating in a Read-A-Thon and I also feel super motivated to read, I think I’ll have time to do it which makes me very happy, my boyfriend is resuming his reading so that’s great since I can spend my time with him also reading a lit of bit, which I love doing, so I really don’t have excuses not to read as much as I want and finally knock out my TBR.
I’m going to use this month to read a lot because I know that I’ll be busy in October as I plan many renovations in my house, painting and that kind of thing and with work will be a bit crazy and I don’t know if I can read that much, but I’ll see how I manage. Meanwhile I’m really excited by my readings this month in general and I can’t wait to tell you the readings that I reserve for the Contemporary-A-Thon!

I’ll be reading a couple of books that I’ve wanted to read since ever, a re-reading, a couple of new releases, an ARC and something completely new for me, so without further ado let’s start!🌸 Read More »
