February Wrap Up | Witchy Reads, Out of my Comfort Zone & First DNF of the year ๐ŸŽ

๐ŸŽ Hi guys! I hope youโ€™re having a beautiful day full of good readings.โค๏ธ Today I bring you a new postโ€ฆ my February Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I think this has been a pretty good month, but it happened too fast for my taste, I usually enjoy February a lot because it’s the birthday month and everything feels very exciting, but on the other hand, it may be good a good thing that was a fast month because I’m so ready for the colder seasons to come, I’m in need of my beautiful autumn, I can’t wait!ย ๐Ÿ‚ย

As I said, it was my birthday on February 22ย ๐ŸŽŠ, I turned 26, I have a birthday post if you want to check it out, I’m leaving it HERE. So, yeah! has been a truly beautiful month, I’ve spent time with my family and I concluded that I’ve never I felt better than right now, so I can’t complain I had a very nice day with my boyfriend and my loved ones & besides all that, I’m SO SO blessed to have each one of you in my life, I’ve never had so many comments of love and beautiful wishes on my birthday before!!ย ๐Ÿฅฐย  It makes me want to cry because it’s really a blessing, you made me feel so special and loved, and you don’t know how much it means to me to have you, SO SO happy to be part of this beautiful community. Thank you, guys! ๐Ÿ˜ญย  *feeling shy*

My month was quite good in terms of reading, you’ll see more as always in my statistics, but basically, I read a normal amount for me and I’ve had a couple of books that I’ve loved with all my heart, in general, I enjoyed almost everything I read, which is always a good thing. This year I’m undoubtedly prioritizing reading things that I think I’d like or I’m very curious about, I want to focus more on that instead of the amount I read in itself, you know? ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย
I participate in the #Februwitchy I had a lot of fun and I read 2 of my favorite books of the year so far thanks to this, so super happy to have participated, I read only two books for the read-a-thon but it’s ok, I just wanted to be part, such a great idea to read about witches, which is something that I LOVE so much. ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธย Spoiler Alert! I’m in fact writing about witches in my own project, so you can imagine how passionate I am.
Then I also read a romance with a lot of hype and pick a book from my TBR Jar, which is full with your choices from my TBR LOWS & HIGHS posts, and you’ll see how it went, but I’m glad to be doing this, is a way to read books that have been in my TBR forever.
Plus, I have a couple of ARCs to talk to you about, one of them was an amazing surprise, probably a great revelation of this 2020.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย ย

Super excited to talk to you about ALL these readings and share my thoughts, I feel so energized today, for some reason, I think I’m feeling the March vibes in me(? lol … Now, Sofi stops talking & Let’s START!, I hope you enjoy. ๐ŸŽRead More »

Synopsis

What happens when America’s First Son falls in love with the Prince of Wales?

When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, geniusโ€”his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There’s only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

Heads of family, state, and other handlers devise a plan for damage control: staging a truce between the two rivals. What at first begins as a fake, Instragramable friendship grows deeper, and more dangerous, than either Alex or Henry could have imagined. Soon Alex finds himself hurtling into a secret romance with a surprisingly unstuffy Henry that could derail the campaign and upend two nations and begs the question: Can love save the world after all? Where do we find the courage, and the power, to be the people we are meant to be? And how can we learn to let our true colors shine through? Casey McQuiston’sย Red, White & Royal Blueย proves: true love isn’t always diplomatic.ย

February TBR | First TBR Jar Pick of the Year, ARCs & Witchy Reads ๐ŸŽ

ย ๐ŸŽ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope youโ€™re having the most incredible day with the best readings.โค๏ธ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of February. This is a super special month for me because it’s my birthday month! YAY!ย ๐ŸŽŠ I’ve never been a fan of celebrating my birthdays, but this year I feel so blessed with so many good things in my life that I’m really super excited about it and besides being able to celebrate my 26 years with you, nothing makes me happier! ๐Ÿ˜ญย And for this special month, I’ve planned a special stack of books to enjoy and share with you.
I think that seeing the whole picture I had a very good January in readings, I’ve read a lot, I’ve almost completed my TBR and I’ve also reached a record for me in pages read, so I’m very excited to continue with that streak during the year and obviously in this February.

Speaking about my readings, I’m super excited to tell you that I’ll be participating in the #Februwitchy readathon hosted by Asha | A Cat, A Book, and A Cup Of Tea | This readathon takes place throughout the month of February and there’s no specific rule you just have to read books about witchesย ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธย , and it works both if it has the name witch in the title as if it’s specifically about witches, you know? I leave the link in case you’re interested and want to know more, all you have to do is sing up in a Google Doc, the one that Asha provides you and there you can add your TBR and your books read during the month. It will be a lot of fun! so if you like witches I recommend you check it out. Personally, I’ll not be reading ONLY about witches, but I do have a small stack that has been reserved to participate because you know that I LOVE witchesย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย and there are several books that I’ve been wanting to read for a while, so it’s perfect, I’m doing this as a gift for myself in my birthday month & nothing can be better.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย

Then I also have a couple of ARCs, as always, which I feel absolutely blessed to be able to read before their release date & in addition to ALL of this, I have a book that I’ve been wanting to read for months now, with another one that I’ve chosen from my TBR Jar. As you know, I’ve started doing the Lows & Highs posts every Sunday in order to clean my TBR and from there you have chosen a book every week, a book that has gone directly to my TBR Jar, so from there I have chosen one for the month, and I’m a little scared about it, but I think it will be fun to know what I think and share it with you.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย  So without further ado, I want to jump right into to show you everything I plan to read in the month of February, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for being there ALWAYSย ๐Ÿ’ž, you’re amazing. ๐ŸŽRead More »

So here we are!, VERY grateful that you’re still there and decide to share another year with me, it’s a blessing, today I’m very excited to share everything I plan to read during the month of January. ๐Ÿฅฐ
As I mentioned while planning my personal new reading challenges for this 2020, I decided to focus on reading some of the old popular YA trilogies/duologies/series that I’ve had on my bookshelf forever and haven’t read yet, I think and I hope it’s something entertaining for you, I want to read the entire series in the month and then I’ll make a unique post talking about each of the books, maybe with mini-reviews and stuffs. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป What I’ve done is put a poll on Twitter so that everyone can vote and for this month we already have a winner, so super grateful for all the people who have voted, the winning series has almost the 60% of the votes, so I’m very excited to finally read it (I’ll tell you more about it down below)
Then I also have 3 ARCs for this month, I really didn’t expect them to be SO many but still, I’m excited to read them, I have 2 high-fantasies that I’m dying to share with you and a romance that sounds adorable. ๐Ÿ˜
After EVERYTHING, and I know that I’m being ambitious, but hey, it’s what I want to do this year so let’s act as if it were normal ๐Ÿ˜‚, I want to try to read a couple of popular romance books of 2019. I told you I wanted to start to read genres that I almost never read and since I already have a LOT of fantasy in my TBR for the month, I thought it would be a good idea to read a lighter romance, especially since it’s summer where I live and I would love to have some light options to take to the Beach.๐Ÿ˜Ž
This introduction is already much longer than I expected ๐Ÿ˜…, but I wanted to be able to explain my plans well to you, so now without further ado, let’s start with one of MANY TBRs to come! ๐ŸŽ

Ambitious December TBR || Trying to Finish & Continue Series + Some ARCs || 2019 ๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿ’ซย Hi guys! I hope youโ€™re having a beautiful day!ย ๐Ÿ’ž Today I bring you my TBR for the month of October, where Iโ€™ll tell you everything Iโ€™ll be reading during the month. I think I’ve already said this like a million times but … OMG, I can’t believe it’s December, it’s crazy for me to think we’ll be going into a new year soon!! Even so, I’m super ready for it, I LOVE new yearsย ๐ŸŽ‰. So, here we are! In another TBR, I miss making TBRs so much when I don’t do them, I didn’t have one in November since I knew I couldn’t read much, but now guys, I feel quite ambitious. My only and great plan is to end the year with the most series completed or at least continue reading those in which I’ve only read the first book, so I can start the year more relaxed about it and ready to start new series!, you know? like it feels right to me to do this.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย
I know that there are several read-a-thons happening this month, they all seem incredible to me, but I’ve decided that I’ll not participate in any until next year where one of my goals is to participate in more, but this month I’m sure that my goal is the right thing to do. In addition to those sequels/endings that I plan to read, I also have a couple of ARCs that I’m so blessed to be able to read, so I’m also very excited about them.ย ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปย

I also plan to take this December to plan several things for next year and organize myself, that’s another of my main goals, to organize everything that is in my mind, my ideas for posts, new challenges that I want to do to myself, all those things.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย I want to have things under control to be able to enter to 2020 super ready for everything. I’m really excited you guys!!. Also this month, we all know, it’s THE month for fun posts to do, we’ll have “my favorite readings”, “my least favorite” and that kind of things which are always so fun to do. I’m not just excited to make them myself, but also to see your posts, it will be a great month, I can feel it!ย ๐Ÿฅฐย *sending all my good vibes to you*

I know that November has been super crazy for me in terms of reading, but I’m really super ready to make of December a great closing of the year, I also want to commit to visiting many many posts and blogs this month, I know the great work you put into your blog, so I want to show you all my love in these holidays times. I LOVE you and I hope you have a wonderful month!! โค๏ธย
Now, without further ado, I’m dying to share with you all about my readings, SO much fantasy … so, Let’s Start!ย ๐Ÿ’ซย Read More »

ย ๐Ÿ’ซย Hi guys!! I hope you’re REALLY well, that you’re having a beautiful day and you’re enjoying your readings.๐Ÿ’ž
Lately as it’s very common during Pride Month I‘ve been seeing many people making LGBT + books lists, from those who recommend to those who come out this year and others, as myself bring you today, have chosen to share a list of books that although we haven’t read yet, we’re dying to do it very soon.
I plan later in the month to bring you my LGBT+ book recommendations as well, with books that I personally have loved, but first I wanted to share with you those who are still on my TBR.
ย ๐ŸŒˆย I LOVE reading books that present characters that represent the LGBT+ community in a respectful and amazing way, I’m heterosexual, but I’ve always been a huge supporter of the community and I’m 100% on board in each movement, because nobody should fight and suffer for loving someone, so always here for all my beautiful queer people out there.ย ๐ŸŒˆย
This list will consist of my Top 10 of the books that I’m most excited to read, they’ll not be in any order, because I’m honestly super excited by all these books and I’ve simply chosen 10 to not make of this an infinite list ย ๐Ÿ˜…ย
I hope you share with me your thoughts and feelings about these books if you have already read them, that will help me create a personal list with those books that I should prioritize and read soon.
I hope you enjoy it and hopefully, you’ll have a new title to make your TBR grow!!!
Without more further ado, let’s start!ย ๐Ÿ’ซRead More »

ย ๐Ÿƒย Hi guys, I hope you’re having an incredible month! Before starting with this incredible tag that I bring you today, I want to tell you that I’m currently reading Middlegame by Seanan McGuire and I’m loving it, but it’s VERY slow so I’ll probably finish it this weekend, to be able to bring you the review next week.ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย  On the other hand, I want to thank you for the INCREDIBLE support you have given me regarding the creation of my own Book Tag, you’ve told me such beautiful things and I’m so grateful for all of you, you always make me feel the love. I hope to see everyone doing the tag at some point! I would love itย ๐Ÿ’žย
Today I bring you a “Book Tag” called Books I Want to Read But Do Not Want to Read, and it looks really good, I mean, who hasn’t been in that position when you want to read a certain book but you’re not sure about it and you end up feeling you don’t really want to read it for some reason and you always end up finding an excuse, cause that’s actually me ๐Ÿ˜…ย . I was tagged by the wonderful Azia || The Uncharted Word, she has an INCREDIBLE blog, so I recommend you to check it out, it’s so worth it!
I think it will be fun, so let’s talk about some books!!ย ๐ŸƒRead More »
