Book Recommendations | Books with Weird & Unusual Plots πŸŒ˜

πŸŒ˜ Hi, friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best readings.❀️ Today I’m super excited because I bring you a post that I’ve been wanting to do for a couple of weeks, I thought it would be fun to share with you my favorite books with the strangest and most peculiar plots. πŸ‘πŸ»  If you follow my blog for a while you already know that I adore rare books that come out of the box and dare to do something new and innovative with their plots, especially I LOVE when mundane or everyday life is mixed with paranormal, strange elements, or magic, as well as I love plots that focus a little on giving life to their characters and settings, taking the time to develop them in an atmospheric and addictive way, but never leaving aside that strange and kind of dark vibe that pushes you to keep reading to know what will happen. πŸ˜  These are the types of books that are 100% for me, that’s why in this post I wanted to bring them all here together to share them with you.

I know that this type of book will not be for everyone, and that’s fine, I like to bring you particular and different things so that we can also share our experiences and thoughts, so if it isn’t for you, that’s super valid too, let me know all in the comments. 😊 So, as I was saying, this time it will be all about atmospheric, dark, and kind of twisted books at times, without a doubt, they all have the same characteristic that they’re all dark and involve a bit of the horror genre at times in different measures. 🌲 But they’re all highly addictive books with unexpected twists and gripping mysterious plots, so I highly recommend them if these are factors that resonate with you. 🌟
In addition,
I’ve also decided to include some books with these characteristics that I haven’t read yet, but they’re in my TBR so you can have more options and also add them to your TBR if you want.
So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this post very much, have an entertaining moment & LET’S GET STARTED!

Top 10 | 5 Stars-Worthy Contemporary Books πŸŒΊ

🌺 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings!! I want to know what you’re currently reading, actually, so let me know below in the comments.❀️ Today I’m super excited about this post because I haven’t brought you a recommendation list in a while, and I LOVE to do it, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.Β πŸ™ŒπŸ» This time I’m focused on contemporary books either within the YA or Adult genre, specifically those that under my point of view are the most faithful to the contemporary genre itself, this means that I’ll leave out those titles that play a little with paranormal aspects or with magic because even when I LOVE those books, I wanted to focus on the genre as such, but of course, I’ll be bringing you more lists in the future, so that we can talk a little more about other genres and mixtures of them. 😍  The important thing and what I want to highlight from this list is that they’re, for me, all books that are worth the 5 stars, what do I mean by this? That they’re just WONDERFUL books, that either because they’re so unique due to their plot or characters, managed to touch my heart and stay with me throughout time.Β All these books mean a lot to me, they’ve managed to transmit me from happiness to sadness in the most real and even beautiful ways, that’s why I want to recommend them today with the hope that you may decide to read them at some point because I KNOW you’ll love them.Β πŸ₯° I also thought it fun to make a list with books that I think would be incredible for your beginning of the year, since they’re SUPER outstanding books for me, they would be incredible first readings for this 2021, cause what better way to start a new year that with books that can be 5 stars, right? Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»
Thank you SO MUCH, my friends, for always being there for me even though my life is a bit crazy right now, you’re INCREDIBLE and I’ll not get tired of saying itΒ πŸ’•, I hope you enjoy today’s post a lot & that you decide to leave me all your thoughts, you know that I LOVE to chat with you! Now, without further ado, make yourself comfortable, I hope you have your favorite drink on hand because WE’RE STARTING!

Top 10 | 2021 Latinx Book Releases πŸŒΎ

🌾 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, surrounded by the best readings and the most beautiful moments.❀️ I’m SO excited to bring you today’s post, where I’ll share with you 10 of the most exciting releases (for me) of this 2021 of books written by Latinx authors. 😍 You know that I’ve been thinking a lot, as I already mentioned in my 2021 Goals post, about giving higher priority to books with diversity, which although I think I’ve done last year, I could still do better. And with this thought, I not only mean to read this type of book but also to talk more about them on the blog, and give them the prominence that they well deserve, both to the books and to their authors. That’s why I’ve decided to write this post, because where to start but from my own roots, right? As many of you already know I’m 100% Latina, so I want to focus much more on Latinx authors, so I’ve done a little research and I’m here today with 10 books that I’m most excited to read this year or at least I know I’ll be buying ALL these books, they sound really wonderful. Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»
I’ve tried to include in this list not only contemporary books because I know that there are usually a lot more of that genre, but also we have a bit of paranormal touch that I LOVE & a bit of fantasy too.
I hope, as usual, can give you a list as diverse as possible so you can choose the book that’s best for you and that resonates with you the most to add to your own TBRΒ πŸ₯°Β
I hope you enjoy the post VERY VERY much and especially that we have a relaxing time to chat a little about these new releases. πŸ₯³
The books aren’t ordered in any specific way, I’m excited by all of them so with that clarified, make yourself comfortable because I’m ready to START!!

So today’s post, as I already mentioned, is the post where I share with you my top with my favorite books of the year, but unlike most of my tops this time the order is important because I’ll be ordering them from my least favorite to my most favorite book of the year, with this I hope to make the post more fun and it’s also like a little challenge for me that I find fun. πŸ‘πŸ» Even so, and with that said, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love each of these books so much, from the lowest position to the highest is being part of my list of faves, so obviously I’ve loved all of them. I hope you can add many books from this list to your own TBR and read them to love them as much as I have, I’m so excited to share this list with you! πŸ˜Š

I hope that each of you had a beautiful Christmas and have an even better New Year, surrounded by your loved ones and if you can’t, cause “pandemic” then I send you all my pure love just for you, I’m sure 2021 will be full of blessings for all of us.  πŸ₯° Now, without further ado, I’m SO excited to be writing this post and sharing all these wonderful books with you, so let’s get started!! Book Series I Need To Finish Reading πŸŒͺ

Β πŸŒͺΒ Hi guys, I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of good readings. ❀️ Thanks for all the love, you’re incredible. Today I bring you a post that I’ve wanted to do for a while now and as you have seen as the title says, it’s a post where I’ll show you all the series that I’ve started to read but I have yet to finish. 😊
As the good bookworm that I am, I love to start new series, in fact, it’s super crazy, but before creating the blog I used to marathon the series that I read a lot more, in fact, I always enjoyed buying the complete series to be able to read it, I know it’s a risk, but I loved doing it.Β πŸ˜… Nowadays, I’ve seen especially on Twitter some comments about how waiting for the book series to be complete to buy and read them can be detrimental to the author, and it makes a lot of sense, honestly, I had never thought about it, so from now on I’ll support buying the first book, and in this way, I can also see if I want to continue with that series or not. It’ll be less risky for me too, so it’s a good thing.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β πŸ‘πŸ»
So, in short, I LOVE book series whether it be trilogies, duology, quartets, or more books, I really don’t care, if I enjoy the characters and the plot as such, so the more books the better!

So Lets Get To It Lets Do It GIF - SoLetsGetToIt LetsDoIt ComeOne - Descubre & Comparte GIFs

So, in this post my goal is to be a little more organized about it, I know that this is something that most will feel related to, but it’s difficult to keep a track of each series that you start, and sometimes you just forget to continue with the rest of the books, even when you have loved the first book. So, today I’ll organize myself, and then start planning when I’ll finish these series. πŸ₯°
An important fact before starting is that these series that I’ve chosen for today are series, duologies, or trilogies that are already finished, by this I mean that the last book has already been released. I’ll focus on them, and then at another time I can make another post of those series that I want to continue but the next book hasn’t yet come out & if you’re interested, I could also make a post about those series I’ll not be continuing for x reason.
Β πŸ€”

Now, without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post that maybe you can find a new series that interests youΒ πŸ’•, and as always let me know all your thoughts in the comments below, you know that I love chatting with you & LET’S START!Β πŸŒͺ

πŸ‘» Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful and spooky day, enjoying all your readings.❀️ Today I’m back with the fourth and last part of my series of posts whereΒ I’m sharing with you some lists and recommendations of spooky books so that you can add to your TBR and maybe read at some point! 😍 I’m happy to have shared this season of horror with you, I know there is still a full week left in the month, but I’ve decided to stop here with my posts because I have to start writing my posts for the end of the month and the beginning of the next one, even so, don’t worry lol, because next Saturday 31, I’ll be coming with a tag for Halloween and thus “celebrate” together with you.Β πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ So, you know that I LOVE everything that has to do with spooky stuffs, soΒ it’s a pleasure for me to be putting together this last list full of interesting books for you.

This time, and to end my mini-series, I’ve decided to bring you 10 perfect spooky & horror books to read during Halloween night, and this time, as I’ve already talked a lot about spooky YA books, I’ve decided to focus on Adult & Middle- Grade books, so that more people can find these lists of help, being as varied as possible. 😊 I don’t know about you, but I love to read a really creepy good book at least once a year within the Adult genre and also sometimes I love to relax with something slightly spooky within the Middle-Grade genre, so this time I’ve decided to prioritize some titles I haven’t heard much about in the bookish blogosphere, to again, be able to bring you a greater variety of readings.Β πŸ‘πŸ» I can’t say that this is a recommendation list as such, I like to see it more as suggestions for you, since I haven’t read these books yet, even so, they’re all in my TBR, because they sound unique, intense, atmospheric, entertaining & interesting, but Above all, they’re on my list because they sound VERY SPOOKY, and I think I have put together a pretty solid list to enjoy this season, so I hope you can enjoy it and find new books that catch your attention.Β πŸ₯°Β

I hope it’s something you enjoy,Β thank you SO much for your support with this mini-series for October, I love you, you’re incredible, I hope you’re having an incredible spooky monthΒ πŸ₯ΊΒ & without further ado, let’s get started!Β πŸ‘»

All the Books on my Priority List β˜€οΈ

β˜€οΈ Hi guys, I hope you’re having an incredible day, full of good readings & beautiful moments! ❀️ Today I’m super excited to finally come to share with you my finalized PRIORITY LIST with all the books that I’ll be prioritizing from now on when creating my monthly TBRs. πŸ‘πŸ» As you already know, because you’re always there to support all my crazy ideas (I LOVE YOU! πŸ˜ ), I had created, a couple of months ago, a series of posts called “Colorful Bookish Sundays” where I was trying to organize the books in my TBR, each Sunday I shared with you 15 books of different colors of which 5 are high in my TBR, which means that I’m dying to read them and they sound wonderful, but I set myself the challenge of choosing only 2 each Sunday to add to this one that’s my list of priorities and thus begin to read them every month. 😊
I had a lot of fun, I was a little sad that this series has come to an end, but I’m excited about everything that will come, THANK YOU SO MUCH for joining me and supporting my series, it means a lot to me, I also love to be able to chat with you about books, it’s always my main goal.❀️
So now that I’ve finished organizing my TBR,
I’ve been able to create this list that has 20 books which I’ll be, obviously, prioritizing in the coming months. My main goal is to finish reading all of them before adding anything else to this list, I see this as a goal for 2021 and that’s fine, I already have my TBRs quite created for the next 2 months, so I’ll be using this list more for next year, I think it’s a more realistic goal for me.
I’m super excited to share my list with you, you know I want to know everything you think about these books in the comments below, so don’t hesitate to let me know! πŸ₯Ί I hope you enjoy the post, that maybe you can find new readings & without further ado, let’s get started!

Spooky Books #1 | Rare & Twisted Plots πŸŽƒ

πŸŽƒ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful and spooky day, enjoying all your readings.❀️ Today is the beginning of a series of posts where I’ll be sharing with you some lists and recommendations of spooky books so that you can add to your TBR and maybe read at some point! 😍 I’m SO excited to share the horror season with you, you know that I LOVE everything that has to do with horror, so it’s a pleasure for me to be putting together these lists full of interesting books for you.
I’ve decided to divide these posts into Lists and Recommendations due to the fact that some of the books I’ve read but others not, and I decided anyway to include those books that are in my TBR but I haven’t read yet, to make this series more interesting and be able to bring you more spooky titles to you to check out. πŸ‘πŸ» Obviously, I can’t talk in-depth about the ones I haven’t read, but I can tell you that I’m 100% interested in reading them and they sound INCREDIBLE, so I know they could also be of interest to you.

This time I brought you a list of more than 10 books with super spooky, creepy, twisted, and above all, weird plots. πŸ¦‡  I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a big fan of plots where you don’t really know what the hell is going on, but you’re just can’t put the book down cause you feel you’re so entertaining and hooked about it. I love those vibes of suspense, tension, and discomfort that this type of plot can generate πŸ˜¨, but I also know that they’re not for everyone, I think that these types of books will be focused on a number of specific readers, BUT I still wanted to do this list because I personally love this kind of books, and know that if there’s someone out there like me, then they’ll have a source to turn to. Anyway, if weird plots aren’t your jam, these books feature similar factors that I love too, like family dynamics, beautiful aesthetics & super atmospheric surroundings. πŸ₯°
I hope you like my list and that you can find new books to enjoy, you know I love doing this and share it with you, so thanks for always being there ❀️ & without further ado, let’s get started!

Things I Like in Books πŸ‘πŸ»

β˜•οΈΒ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day & you’re enjoying your readings.❀️ Today I’ve decided to bring you a super fun post that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now BUT THIS IS JUST THE PERFECT TIME. A few weeks ago I came with a post where I talk about the things that I don’t like to find in the books I read, so I thought why not doing the opposite this time and telling you a little about the things that I do love to find in the books I read. 😍 This time I’ll be sharing with you 6 things that I LOVE in my books, by this I mean things that make me feel good while reading the story or some factors that I love to read about or others are just details that seem incredible to me and give that magic touch to my readings. πŸ™ŒπŸ»Β

As always I would love to know your opinion, so let me know everything in the comments, I’m dying to know what are the things that you love to find when you read your books.Β πŸ’ž As always, and as you already know, all my opinions are personal and aren’t the absolute truth, I’ll only speak from my point of view, my experience, and my own tastes, but that doesn’t mean that your opinion isn’t valid and wonderful. 😊 Let me know EVERYTHING, I love to know & now, without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post a lot, get comfortable and LET’S START!

Top 5 | Books with Morally-Gray Main Characters πŸ”₯

Β πŸ”₯Β Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day & a great start to the week, as I always tell you, I hope you’re also enjoying all your readings.❀️ Today I’m super excited to return with another top 5 that could also be a recommendation post because I love each one of these books with all my heart, so obviously, I highly recommend them, especially if, as the title says, you enjoy the morally-gray main characters.Β πŸ‘πŸ» What do I mean by this? Well, I know that we all have different concepts about what a “morally-gray” character is, for me, this means having a character who’s capable of doing anything to achieve his goals, characters that have dark actions or do something immoral during his journey or can also refer, in my personal opinion, to those characters that change as time passes and become vengeful and power-hungry. Today I’ve brought all those types of characters in these incredible 5 books, this time I wanted to focus on the main characters as such because I’ve read other books with these types of characters but they have secondary roles or the “villains” role as such, you know? so I wanted to put them aside to bring you this type of character as the main focus of the plot. 😊

I hope this type of recommendation is for you and is something that you can enjoy, you know that I always try to bring you very varied recommendations & tops, so that no matter what your jam is you can find something for you, so if this time this is not something you interested in, that’s ok and I respect it, soon I bring another with brave characters and more of the heroes type, which I also personally love.Β πŸ₯°Β

I love you ALWAYS, thank you for the love and support you gave me and above all for your kind words about the new look of the blogΒ πŸ’ž, with which I’m super happy, you can see that I’ve changed the fonts because it seemed to me that was too small before and it was very difficult to read, so I hope now it feels more comfortable for you.Β πŸ₯Ί
I hope you enjoy it a lot, go get yourself something to drink and eat, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the top 5 … LET’S START!
