Save One, Drop One | Book Edition 🔥

🔥 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of good readings and incredible moments. ❤️ Today I bring you a kind of Bookish Tag to share with you, THE THING IS: a few days ago I was watching videos in the Booktube world, and I came across this great idea on the jessethereader & Hailey in Bookland channels, and I thought it was such a fun series to bring it here, but in blog format. 👏🏻
What is it about? Well, this book tag is about choosing two books that you have already read, and of those books, you should choose one to save, while you should drop the other. It sounds simple, but I think it will not be so because maybe I randomly pick books that I love completely and it will destroy my heart to have to choose between my babies, so we’ll see; also I know that I run the risk that you hate me, so I hope you still love me after this, it will not be easy. 🥺
 🥺
To make it more fun and entertaining, I’ve decided to choose the books using my Read shelf in Goodreads, I’ll put it so that they’re sorted in a Radom way, and I’ll refresh the page to create pairs. 😄
I hope this makes sense to you, and so I can be surprised along with you while we do the tag, since I don’t know which book will be chosen.
I hope you like the idea, that it’s something that you find entertaining, and of course, it would be a pleasure if you decide to do it yourself too, just let me know because I would love to see your choices. 🌻
I love you, infinite thanks for the love and support of all these years with my blog, I hope you decide to stay and accompany me on this incredible journey for much longer & without further ado, LET’S START!

Book Recommendations | Standalone Books Edition #2 🌲

🌲 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, having incredible moments, and reading the best books.❤️ This month I’ve brought you a recommendation post, of those that I LOVE to do, all focused on standalone books (You can find PART #1 right here) and I could see you’ve enjoyed it a lot, which always makes me SO SO happy, so I’m excited to bring you a second part! 🥰 I hadn’t really thought about doing a second part, but I realized that there were several books that I hadn’t yet been able to recommend and they hadn’t entered the previous list, so I’ll gladly be including them here today. This time I’ll also be using the same format as before, which I will explain below in case you still don’t know what it is about. My idea is to give you a style of recommendations where it is easier to find the perfect book just for you, so that you can simply add it to your TBR and start reading it. 👏🏻

So how will this be? You know that I like to give a special touch and a different thing to my recommendation posts since I want it to be a fun experience for you and that you can also really feel they’re more personalized recommendations where I think that hopefully, you can find the perfect book just for you. 💕 That’s why this time I’ve decided to classify the books by categories according to how they’ve made me feel while reading them so you can find the one that resonates best with you and your reading tastes. For example, I have classified those standalone with a magical touch, those more complex and you can even find some lighter ones to enjoy.  😊

If you want to know my complete thoughts on each of the books you can do so by clicking on the names of the books, which will take you directly to my review without spoilers  🙌🏻

I hope you like this idea very much, I always try to bring you the best of me and that we can have a good time together and chat a little about books because that’s why we are here, right? 😍
Thank you SO SO much for the infinite support, you know that
I feel it very deeply in my heart and I treasure every comment, like and shared that you give to my posts, I put a lot of love in my work and the recognition is always a blessing 🥺. Thank you, mis amores, for being there always  & now, let’s get started, I’m super excited! 🌲

Peaky Blinders Book Tag | Original Book Tag 💣

💣 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day despite everything that’s happening in the world, I send you all my love, support, and good energy.❤️ Today I’ve finally returned with an original book tag for you, but it’s not just any tag, it’s a super special post for me on a super special day too. Today is the birthday of my best friend and life partner for almost 8 years, my boyfriend, Ramiro, who is turning 26 years old, and I’m making this post as a gift for him in his day, so I’m super excited, I know he’ll love it. 🎊 My boyfriend has always been my biggest fan in each and every one of the things that I intend to do, he has always been there from the first moment supporting me and getting myself up every time I fell, even when I didn’t believe enough on myself, there he was to make me feel the most incredible person, I really know that I’m in a relationship with my best friend and that makes me feel very fortunate and happy. 😍  I know this is probably the cheesiest thing for you right now and I understand 100% if this is not your thing or you don’t feel interested, I respect it because I know it’s something different and unusual in my blog, but as my boyfriend has always been the biggest fan of my blog, I wanted to give it something special here for him, giving hem this little gift and of course, sharing with you as I always love to do. 🥰

I was thinking of what I could inspire my tag or what I could base on and nothing was more perfect than Peaky Blinders, with my boyfriend we LOVE this series, it’s one of our favorite things to watch together, so it seemed like a great idea to be inspired by this television series & combine it with books, of course, to make a fun and hopefully entertaining book tag!  👏🏻

In case you don’t know what Peaky Blinders is, it’s an English historical drama television series, created by Steven Knight and broadcast by the BBC Two channel & this is a short summary: Britain lives in the postwar period. Soldiers return, new revolutions are struck, and criminal gangs are born in a troubled nation. In Birmingham, a gang of street gangsters rises to become the kings of the working class.

I don’t want to make this an endless introduction, so I’m ready to start, but before I want to mention that I hope with my heart that you enjoy it and if you like the series or if you like the idea of the tag you decide to do it yourself, I’ll leave a couple of “rules” in case you decide to do it 😊 & of course, I want to thank you for your support and unconditional love, now without further ado, let’s START! 💣 Read More »

Later in the month, I’ll be making my post of favorite books of the year and my least favorites, so this has nothing to do with that and I will not be repeating books. ❄️ Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day & you’re enjoying your reading 💞  Today I bring you our beloved Wrap Up of the month of July where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month. July really flew for me, I feel it happened SO fast, don’t you think? God, the year, in general, is flying by. So how was my month? SO GOOD, actually, I feel very HAPPY for how I’ve done it this month with both, my readings and my interaction with you, which is always a priority for me, and everything that has to do with blogging life has been very positive as well.😊 I’ve been very committed to learning more about blogging stuff because I think there’s always something else to learn and improve and I have many surprises to share with you in the next month, and I’m super excited about it, I still don’t want to tell anything, though. I really feel more and more committed to my blog, more excited to do new things and I really feel that it has become a very important part of my life so that makes me feel enthusiastic and complete. 👏🏻

💞 I want to THANK YOU as every month for being there for me, always supporting me and giving me encouragement to continue and improve every day. It’s already like a habit for me to thank you each month, but, it’s very important for me that you know this, so I wouldn’t want to not to say so. 💞

I’ve participated in The Book Junkie Trials Read-A-Thon, 🌟  which I adored, I remember that I planned to take July as a chill month, without reading anything other than what I wanted and well when I saw that this read-a-thon was so original and unique, I knew I couldn’t miss it!. 😍  It was a lot of fun, I couldn’t complete it, though, I just missed the group book, so I’m a bit sad about that, but on the other hand, I found an INCREDIBLE book thanks to this read-a-thon, so I’m more than happy to have participated. Besides seeing what everyone was reading and sharing that experience was so AMAZING.

So going back to my readings… OMG, it has been a great month!!, you’ll see more in my statistics below, but it has been a month where I feel that I’ve read things that I really wanted to read, so despite not having enjoyed all of them, I’m happy to have tried. I have a couple of disappointments between my readings but the majority of the books were all SO PRECIOUS. Super different concepts, a lot of fantasy, because who would I be, right? 😅, and I tried a genre that has always intimidated me a little. Without further ado, I’m dying to start sharing with you all about the books I’ve read, and I also have some post recommendations around the blogosphere that you won’t want to miss! 💫

Let’s get started!❄️

Lina is just like any other fifteen-year-old Lithuanian girl in 1941. She paints, she draws, she gets crushes on boys. Until one night when Soviet officers barge into her home, tearing her family from the comfortable life they’ve known. Separated from her father, forced onto a crowded and dirty train car, Lina, her mother, and her young brother slowly make their way north, crossing the Arctic Circle, to a work camp in the coldest reaches of Siberia. Here they are forced, under Stalin’s orders, to dig for beets and fight for their lives under the cruelest of conditions.

Lina finds solace in her art, meticulously–and at great risk–documenting events by drawing, hoping these messages will make their way to her father’s prison camp to let him know they are still alive. It is a long and harrowing journey, spanning years and covering 6,500 miles, but it is through incredible strength, love, and hope that Lina ultimately survives. Between Shades of Gray is a novel that will steal your breath and capture your heart.

🍂 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a great day and you’re reading delicious stories!. Today I bring you my TBR for the month of April, where I’ll tell you all about the books I plan to read during this month. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I really enjoy reading with cold weather and right now it’s finally starting to get cold in my country 🍃 so I’m living the moment with my books and my coffee and I’m too happy, it’s all I need. 😍  Because of this, this month I feel a little ambitious, I come from months reading only 5 books and I don’t say that’s bad, is an average number for me but I feel I can do it much better and this month I feel with the confidence to add a few more books to my TBR, which is always fun regardless of the final result, right? For some reason adding many books to my monthly TBR gives me adrenaline, I feel like I’m risking my life here, you guys, lol. Well, the thing is that I’ve planned readings which I’m VERY excited about and even more to share it with you. 💕
I have some ARCs, but this time I’m relaxed about it, and I’ll read only 2, both will come out very soon, so I don’t want to add more than I already have to read, you know?, on the other hand, I’ll continue with my challenge to read the books with higher and lower rating in my TBR, last month I read one with the lowest rating, but this month I’m much more excited because I going to read one of the books with the highest rating and I’m dying to tell you which one it is. I’ve planned to read a sequel as well and two 2019 releases, and last but not least, I’ll be buddy reading a very well know and loved book!!! 👏🏻 Ok, so I already feel very excited and I can’t wait to tell you all about these books, so without further ado, let’s start with my TBR for this month 🍂
