⚡️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings and wonderful moments! ❤️ Today I’m more than excited to share with you this second post in the series of “end of the year posts” and this time I bring you my Surprises & my Disappointments of this 2020. 🙌🏻 On the one hand, we have those books from which I didn’t expect so much and they ended up surprising me by how much I enjoyed them and on the other hand, those which I had high expectations from, but ended up disappointing me. As always, I want to clarify that these opinions are only my own and don’t mean that we all have the same experiences with these books and that’s fine 😊 & on the other hand I also want to clarify that the group of books that today I want to share with you that were surprising for me, are books that really captivated me but they didn’t reach my top of the year as favorites, so this is also a good opportunity to give them their moment of recognition, appreciate them and tell you a little about them. 😍 I also want to tell you that those books that are in the group of my disappointments this year aren’t bad books at all, in fact, I’ve enjoyed them, it just that I get into them with high expectations or I expected much more from them and they just didn’t live up toand that’s why they’re in my disappointments. Which doesn’t mean they aren’t great reads anyway. 🌟 In short, I want this to be a fun post to share and exchange opinions, always knowing that we are all unique and different and that’s wonderful. 💞 So you know that I hope to know everything you think in the comments about these books!
I hope you enjoy the posts a lot, so get yourself something delicious to drink and eat ☕️, make yourself comfortable & let’s get started, I’m excited! ⚡️
📸 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day & you’re starting the week in the best way!❤️ Today I’m very excited because it’s the beginning of what will be the end of the year post series that I’m very excited to share with you! 🥺 To open this week I want to start with one of the most fun and beautiful posts to do and admire, and it’s the post where I show you all my favorite covers of this 2020!!! 😍 I started with these posts two years ago, so I’ll leave you here my favorite covers of 2018 & 2019 in case you want to check them out, they’re also books that sound incredible, but as always in these posts, I choose to focus 100% on the covers dedicating this space to admire the beauty and incredible work of the illustrators. 👏🏻 👏🏻 I don’t have a specific number to choose my covers, I’ll only be showing you those that have captivated me and have become an obsession for me to look at & also, this is a personal opinion so I understand that you think that I’ve left some out or that someones I’ve chosen aren’t that impressive, but that’s the magic of sharing, right? different opinions are gold. So, I’m a cover lover and although I know that books should not be judged by them, today they’ll have the distinction they deserve. 🤩 I hope you like this post a lot, so make yourself comfortable, enjoy the view & let’s get started! 📸

🌟 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings & incredible moments.❤️ Today I’m back on the blog after taking a week off and I’m really excited and VERY HAPPY to share my plans with you and tell you a bit about some changes that will take place in my life. 😊 You know that I usually take a week each year away from the blog and social networks,I call it “my detox week” and that always helps me to take care of myself, my mental health, and I also take the opportunity to be closer to my loved ones and take care of some mundane things that aren’t as fun as being here with you but important still 😅 I’ve never taken a week in December, so it’s new, for me the month starts today, so it will be shorter here on the blog, but anyway super excited to be back full of energy and super ready to check all your blogs and answer all your beautiful comments 😍, what I’ll be doing starting today, although I know it will take me a couple of days, so be patient with me the important thing is that here I am! 🎉 I decided to make this post to tell you that I’m back, to spend some moment together and you can tell me all about what you’ve been doing and what have you been reading, and also, of course, I want to share with you what I plan to read myself & some future plans for the blog that have me super excited, so I don’t want to make this introduction something so long, just say want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, because I know you’ve been supporting me even when I’m not here and that makes my heart and my soul happy, you’re a wonderful being and super precious to me. 🥺 🥺 🥺 Happy to be back, mis amores & GET STARTED!
☀️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of December. I still don’t know how, but we have reached the last month of the year!! Isn’t that crazy? surely 2020 will be one of those years that we’ll never forget and not for the best reasons, but luckily it has passed super fast for me, I’m excited for the new year to come and I hope it’s full of blessings and good news to the world, I think we all deserve that. 🙏🏻 So here I am today to share with you my reading list for this last month of the year. When you’re reading this I’ll be on my break, so I don’t know how much I’ll be reading during this first week but that’s fine, this month will be a month of relaxation for me, so it’s okay if I don’t read too much, on the other hand, I’m SO excited to be able to share with you ALL the end of the year posts!! 😍 When I return from my break I’ll be sharing with you my best readings, my worst, and all those types of posts that I love to do every year.
My plan for this month is also to do a lot of blog hopping, I think I should give you back a little of all the support that you have given me, I feel super blessed to be part of this community, so I’ll try to support you all as much as I can, super excited for checking all your posts!! 🌟
So my reading plans are basically to finish catching up on some things, so in this way go into 2021 with a new vibe and eager to start new readings. First, I’ll be finishing some series, that’s really exciting for me, at last, I’ll be reading the final books of several series that I’m loving so far, and I’m dying to share that with you 🥰 & on the other hand, I still have a couple of ARCs that I want to read because they’re the last ARCs that I have left from this year’s releasesand I would like to get into next year without any ARCs from 2020, you know? both books come out on December 1st, so I won’t get to read them for their release date but obviously, I’ll be reading and reviewing them during their release month, so I hope that’s enough, anyway super excited to tell you more about them! 😊 Then, if I’m lucky enough to finish with my priorities, I’ll be adding my Back-Up Pile with two books that I would like to be able to read before the year ends, it’s fine if I can’t, though, there’s no pressure, but it’s something that I also want to share with you today. 👏🏻
So, super excited to share my December readings with you,I hope you have the best end of the year and above all that you and your family are safe and healthy.❤️ Now without further ado, I hope you decide to stay & let’s get started! ☀️
🌻 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️Today I bring you a new post… my November Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. This month was a challenge for me, I think it’s the first time that I put myself to the test in this way so demandingly. I can say that I’m proud of myself for having been able to do SO much during this month, on the other hand, I’m exhausted so it would be good for me to relax a little during the next month, I deserve it. 🥺 🥺 Well, to keep you updated on what I’ve been doing in the month of November, to begin with, I’ve been participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time, and it has been an absolutely enriching experience of learning and growth for me as a writer, which I appreciate very much. 😊 I’m more than happy to have participated, but I did realize how demanding it could be, so that’s why I made the decision to abandon it after the third week, I told you a little about it in my NaNo update, but in summary, I felt that I was being too much for me, I felt mentally and physically exhausted and I didn’t want to write anything just to reach a “goal”, you know? so I made that decision and although it was difficult at the same time I know that it was the best for me and today I’m happy with what I’ve accomplished.I wrote 30k words and that’s just INCREDIBLE for me, so I haven’t regret, contrarily, I celebrate that great achievement. 🥳
Besides having been writing a lot and having focused 100% on my WIP also magically and I still don’t know how, I’ve been able to read ALL, yes, you read correctly, ALL the ARCs that I planned to read this month 🤩, I can’t believe I do it, but I’ve had the incredible luck to have quite short books and also super easy to read, I enjoyed them a lot so I’m really happy to have been able to read a lot this month too, which was not my main goal, but… YAY! 👏🏻 I’ve read a lot of high-impact fantasy, a bit of sci-fi & a long-awaited mystery book that paid off. So, super happy and excited to come with good news and been able to recommend several books. 🥰
Before starting I want to share with you that I’ll be taking this week off, if you’ve followed me for a while you know that every year I take a week of mini-vacations to take care of myself and visit my family, and that kind of thing, so I’ll be gone since December 1st and I’ll return on Monday 7th and the second week of December will be normal as usual. 💕 I usually take weeks off in November but this time I decided to change things up a bit. I think it would be healthy for me to get away a little and I‘ll return with a lot of energy as usual to bring you the best of me. 💫 I also wanted to mention that I know that I haven’t been checking other blogs and I’m also super late with the comments, so I’m very sorry, really the month of November has been crazy for me 😭, I’ve been extremely busy and I haven’t been able to do my beloved blog hopping, but I hope to change that soon and will be checking your beautiful and wonderful blogs as always. 😍 😍 😍 You know that I’m still here for you always, love you, I’m deeply grateful for all the love and the nice comments, THANK YOU SO MUCH! 💕 So, I’ll be back soon, when you’re reading this I’m probably already on my break, but I still wanted to mention it. You’ll have posts anyway all the week, so you won’t feel my absence, but I’ll probably be answering comments when I get back and doing a massive blog hopping of thanks.
Now, without further ado, I’m excited to share with you everything I’ve read in the month of November, so I hope you decide to stay.Let’s get started! 🌻
🔥 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a wonderful day, surrounded by the best readings!! ❤️ Today I’m bringing you one of my favorite posts where I show you my most anticipated new releases of the month. 🥰 I’m SO excited to be sharing with you, is really a blessing, so I hope you enjoy these posts and find some new books to add to your endless TBR because as I always say: Good for the soul but bad for the wallet, right? But it’s what we love …BOOKS AND MORE BOOKS, so I hope you enjoy it. The books I choose to add here are just some that I would love to read at some point because they sound like something I’ll personally enjoy, so without further ado, let’s start! 🔥
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of One of Us Is Lying comes your next obsession. You’ll never feel the same about family again.
Milly, Aubrey, and Jonah Story are cousins, but they barely know each another, and they’ve never even met their grandmother. Rich and reclusive, she disinherited their parents before they were born. So when they each receive a letter inviting them to work at her island resort for the summer, they’re surprised . . . and curious.
Their parents are all clear on one point–not going is not an option. This could be the opportunity to get back into Grandmother’s good graces. But when the cousins arrive on the island, it’s immediately clear that she has different plans for them. And the longer they stay, the more they realize how mysterious–and dark–their family’s past is.
The entire Story family has secrets. Whatever pulled them apart years ago isn’t over–and this summer, the cousins will learn everything.
In the first book of this full-color fantasy graphic novel series filled with humor and hijinks, the fate of the land of Nothing hinges on Nathan and an unlikely team of magical beings to save the day—perfect for fans of Amulet and Estranged.
Welcome to Nothing! Despite its name, this is a fantastic land where humans and magical volken coexist peacefully—at least they try . . .
This is the tale of Nathan, an ordinary human (or so he thinks) living an ordinary life (or so he wishes). Everything changes when he meets Haven, a mysterious creature who is neither human nor volken. Oh, and the two of them are being chased by volken mercenaries—a grumpy wolf named Bardou and a delightful crow named Sina.
Nathan soon learns he has mysterious powers, even though humans aren’t supposed to have magic. But there’s no time to dwell on that because this discovery sets the group on a perilous quest across windswept terrain, through haunted forests, and in ancient tombs. Nathan and his unlikely friends must prevent an impending war and defeat a dark evil to save their land.
No pressure, of course. If they fail, everything will turn into, well . . . nothing.
