August Wrap Up | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Goodbye Reading Slump ❄️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my August Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. At last, guys, I can come with good news about my reading because August was the month where I was finally able to defeat my Reading Slump and I was able to enjoy the reading process without any problems, so I’m very happy and excited for the months to come! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 I think July was the month where I was trying to get out of my reading slump, but August is the month where I finally felt like I was able to really do it. Therefore and thanks to this, my month has been incredible in terms of readings and I’ve quite enjoyed most of the books I’ve read which is even better, in fact, I’ve given my second 5 stars of the year, this it’s not a drill!, and I’m super excited to tell you everything about it. 😊

This August I’ve participated in two “challenges” the first has been ARC August which is all about, as its name suggests, about reading ARCs and getting up to date with them, and I think I’ve done a pretty good job with this one, I haven’t read every ARC that I had on my list, but I do have read I think half of them, which is already quite positive & on the other hand, I’ve participated in Latinx Readathon, which is an incredible Readathon where we have a Bingo Board and we must read each book by Latinx authors for each promp (you can find more information about it HERE) and as I completely loved the idea, I wanted to support it by participating and I completed my personal challenge with this one, which was completing a bingo line… so YAY! Besides this, I enjoyed every book I read and that makes me very happy. 🥳

Besides that it has been a great month in terms of my readings, I want to take a moment as always, to thank the beautiful support that each of you gives me every day and every month with my blog. It’s a blessing to have this space and also that my works are respected means a lot, so THANK YOU SO MUCH, Amores, I’ve had the chance to meet new incredible bookish people in August, and that’s really exciting, so I look forward to a September full of love and full of support. 🥺 🥺 🥺

So, going into more detail about my readings this month, we have a great variety that has even inspired me to create new challenges to try in the future and share it with you here on the blog. 😍
First, we have some ARCs that I really liked,
two of them are incredible fantasy/paranormal sequels where both stories evolve a lot & the other ARC was a sad disappointment, a great promise but a poor execution.
Then we have three wonderful Latinx books that I’ve loved,
one of them is a romantic and super light short novel, the other is a shocking and raw anthology that will make you think & finally my new 5 stars: an absolutely meaningful story about how to forgive and move on.
Then I was also able to finish a book that I had been reading since July and I really enjoyed that one, a brilliant and gloomy plot & I also chose one of the books from my “Back-Up Pile”, which
was another sequel that I was dying to read and I ended up adoring it.

So without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED! I’m super excited to share with you all my thoughts about each of these books & I hope you enjoy it. ❄️

July Wrap Up | Having fun with PopCulture Readathon & Getting out of my Reading Slump ❄️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my July Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. July was such a crazy month for me, maybe a little messy in terms of reading, but I also had a lot of fun and I’ve had beautiful surprises and blessings to be thankful for, so I can say that it was a great month and although I didn’t read as much I was expecting to, it’s okay, I’m learning to be patient with myself and understand that I’m just coming out of a reading slump so I understand that it will have a somewhat slow start and that’s ok, we must love and understand ourselves when we’re going through this type of state, I‘m glad that I was able to read and actually enjoy the process, which was difficult for me a month ago. I didn’t really read any book that blew me away, but I did enjoy one enough and I’ve found super interesting stories, I’m also happy to have given the opportunity to several genres, which is always positive, I’ll tell you more in my statistics and in my summary of each book. 😊

Before starting and sharing with you all my readings, I want to thank you SO SO much for all the love I’ve received this month, I’m infinitely grateful, guys, for each one of you, the connections I’ve made thanks to the blog are what I treasure the most of this beautiful experience. 🥰  I was the blog of the day on Twitter 🎉, which is always a wonderful and super significant detail that helps me grow, so thanks to @TheWriteReads for all their work and support he gives to the book bloggers community & in addition to this I’ve reached the 5000 followers with the blog and I just CAN’T BELIEVE IT!! I don’t really know how to express how grateful I feel with each person who decides to follow my blog, it makes me happy and I promise that I’ll only improve every day to give you the best of myself. I LOVE YOU and you know I’m always there for you if you need me

Plus, I want to thank every book blogger who has included me in their lists for the Book Blogger Awards nominations, I didn’t expect all the love I received and my heart explodes with joy, thank you SO much, guys, you’re wonderful. ❤️

So during the month of June, I participated in the incredible PopCulture Readathon and my personal goal was simply to read as much as I could, so even though I didn’t read how much I wanted, I read what I could and that’s fine with me, let’s say I made it 😅 This was one of the best and most enjoyable readathons in which I’ve participated, I’m absolutely in love with it and I hope I can participate in the future when I feel like reading more, so I can get more out of it. 😍 Even so, I had a lot of fun, I loved it and I read an incredible fantasy, I participated in a blog tour where I discovered a magical book with an incredible atmosphere, a unique mystery, an unexpected short novel, the end of a series which left me with mixed feelings & I DNF a very popular book. 👏🏻 I also want to talk a little about my current reading, so without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post, remember that I love to know what you think, so let me know everything in the comments, I LOVE YOU & let’s get started! ❄️Read More »

June Wrap Up | The Reading Slump Month: Unexpected Readings & Graphic Novels ❄️

❄️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my June Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. Well, as you can see from the title, this wasn’t my best reading month and I dare to say that I think it was my worst month in terms of everything that has to do with books so far. If you’ve been through a reading slump then you know that it’s very difficult to describe why it’s happening, you just know that you’re trying to read and nothing seems interesting enough, then you think of thousands of things you could do instead of reading, you just don’t have that motivation to continue your reading and honestly, it feels terrible.  😭 I think it feels even worse when you have a blog because I LOVE sharing my new readings with you and if I don’t read, I don’t have anything to talk to you about and I feel super frustrated, but well, it’s what happened to me this month, unfortunately, I felt this way and I accepted it and decided to go with the flow of what was happening to me and not force myself to read. This is just a stage… I know, you know, and I’m feeling better so everything is fine, I don’t want to be dramatic about it here 😅, I just wanted to share it with you and I also came up with the idea of doing a whole post to discuss this topic and give you some tips that have worked for me in the past and also share our experiences, I think it’s always healing to know that it can happen to all of us and that’s fine, it’s natural. 👏🏻

In other news, I had decided to participate in Make Your Myth-Taker readathon, a wonderful readathon that you can learn more about by clicking on the link, and obviously, I failed miserably 😂, but that was obvious to me being in a reading slump, honestly, I didn’t feel as to read anything that was in my TBR, so I’m very sorry that I didn’t succeed, but I hope to participate again at another time and do better! I hope you’ve done amazing if you participated. On the other hand, and although it wasn’t my best reading month, I think I’ve read quality things, so that makes me feel a little better. I also found one of the best books I’ve read this year, if not the best! so obviously that deserves celebration. 🥳

Happy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt GIF

I read a hard-hitting contemporary with a mix of magical realism that blew my mind, I still don’t have the words to express how incredible that book was. I’ve also chosen to read graphic novels because they’re quicker & easier to read, so I thought they were exactly what I needed this month and I really liked them. Apart from that, I was part of a blog tour & I read a very intense short novel that I enjoyed a lot. Last but not least, I read one of the most loved books by the community that involves mythology, and I loved it, I had a great experience which I’ll share with you later.
Thank you SO much for being here and sharing each wrap up with me, it means the world for me, and even more when I had such a rare month and full of emotions. 🥰  So without further ado, let’s get started, I’m excited to share my readings with you and tell you a little about them. ❄️ Read More »

May Wrap Up | Unexpected Readings, A Popular Trilogy & Great Sequels 🍂

🍂 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my May Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. May was a pretty good month in terms of reading, something crazy and messy, yes, but pretty good, but on the other hand not so good in mental terms, you know? I think that finally, the quarantine has come to me, I’m a super conscious person about everything that’s happening in the world, but I’ve never felt fear or anxiety about it, I try to be in a more relaxed state of mind and most of the time, has worked well, but this May I got a little out of control, I must confess. 😢 I’m always the first to tell you to prioritize your mental health over anything else, so obviously, I did that, and I found much comfort and support in YOU, even when you may not even know this, I LOVE and it brings me a lot of peace and positive energy to read your comments and interact with all of you in general, this is a community that always brings me good things, so THANK YOU, for being there for me to support me, love me and accept me. Blogging was wonderful, the best medicine is to do what you love, without a doubt. ❤️

On the other hand, even though I’ve struggled a bit mentally, incredibly and contrary it has been one of the most creative months for me. I feel that maybe this is my point of view, but I’m very happy with the content of my blog this month, I’m 100% satisfied with it and I’m very happy to see the response that you’ve had to each post, it has been wonderful, really It brings me a lot of satisfaction and makes me SO SO happy.  👏🏻 I hope to keep this pace of creation and ideas for June too, just in case I always write everything that comes to my mind, so I hope I already have a reserve of ideas for emergency lol. As always THANKS for your support for my blog and, especially this month, thanks to so many of you for sharing your experiences with your blogs in my discussion post, it really means a lot to me that you can open up and express your thoughts and feelings with me and with all of us.  😍  I’m sure that each comment in that post could be a word of encouragement for someone else and that makes me very happy! 💃🏻

In terms of readings, being honest with you I expected to read much more, but you know, sometimes you don’t feel like reading and I accepted this, and I didn’t mean to force it, but I did expect to do a better job. Even so, it wasn’t a bad month at all and I really enjoyed everything that I read, in fact, there’s no a single book that I didn’t like this month, so that’s even more important than quantity (quality over quantity, always!)  👍🏻
I read a super famous and super loved trilogy and I’m very excited to share my thoughts with you, but basically was a very incredible read and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, I read a couple of sequels or series continuations, and they were great too, lots of action in them and wonderful characters & last but not least, I had the joy of reading an ARC of a book that’s probably among my favorites this year… It was wonderful, it touched my heart and although I hadn’t planned to read it, it was worth it.  😊
I hope you decide to stay with me during this post and get to know each of my readings, statistics, and some of my favorite posts. 🥰 I hope you enjoy it and without further ado, let’s get started! 🍂Read More »

April Wrap Up 🍂 | OWLs Magical Readathon 2020 💛

🍂 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my April Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. As many of you know, this month was all about the OWLs, a wonderful Harry Potter-inspired readathon where we followed a series of promp to successfully graduates of our magical career. If you want to know more about it, you can check my TBR where ALL the information is. 😊 As always, I had an incredible time participating, I think it’s one of the most fun and entertaining readathons to participate, not only do I love reading and passing classes, but I also love to see what others are reading and what career or careers they have chosen to follow. A super beautiful community is formed, where everyone interacts and makes the experience a thousand times better, so YES, it was incredible and I’m happy that I managed to complete it and managed to read each of the books that were in my TBR, with the exception of one that it’s a DNF, but I’m counting it anyway because I really tried. 👍🏻 In addition to this, I’ve had one more week to read what I wanted, which is incredible it never happens to me lol, but I decided to take it easy, especially since I want to read a lot next month, so I don’t want to get overwhelmed, and I really liked having time to rest and doing other things, also feels nice and at times as stressful as these are necessary. Anyway, I ended up grabbing something else to read, but I’ll tell you more about that later. 🥰

I don’t want to spend a single month of this year without thanking you for your support and unconditional love that you show me in each of my posts, I’ll be forever grateful to be able to live this adventure with so many wonderful people! 😭 ❤️ Honestly this year I haven’t been paying much attention to my statistics like in 2019, which is proving to be very healthy for me, I’m a quite organized person and I’m very passionate about my projects, so of course, I want this beautiful project to grow and do well, but I’m focusing much more on improving my content and being able to express myself better, learn and be able to give you the best of myself and I think that it’s being incredibly powerful and healing, I’m enjoying much more blogging this 2020, it feels incredible. 😍 I’ve been thinking about making a discussion post soon on these topics and give you some tips if you’re interested and talking about blogging, pressure, stress but also the benefits that I’ve experienced having the blog and being part of the community, I’ll build something soon and I’m excited to continue sharing with you. I LOVE YOU and I wish you all the success with your projects. 🎉

Happy Fifth Harmony GIF by Music Choice | Camila, Camren

As for my readings, I’m trying this year to be quite open to reading many different genres, that’s why I’ve been putting together mini TBRs, which I love, and this month, I’ve had a variety of interesting genres, so I’m pleased. I enjoyed almost everything I read, which makes me feel very fulfilled and happy, I’ve read one of my favorite authors and I haven’t been disappointed, she’s fantastic, I almost cried with a short novel that I found very powerful, I’ve read adorable novels graphics, and I discovered that I can read heavier and descriptive writing style and still enjoy the process. 😄
I hope you decide to stay and you’ll be able to know my thoughts about each one of these books, but I’ll also share with you as always my favorite blog posts and some fun statistics. So without further ado, let’s get started! 🍂

March Wrap Up | Amazing Sequels, An Unexpected Disappointment & An Addictive Trilogy 🍂

🍂 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my March Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I always feel SO excited and with such beautiful energy sharing with you my reading month, I love writing these posts and I hope you like reading them too. Well, this was an incredible month for me in terms of reading, I read A LOT of books that I really loved, which doesn’t happen to me every month since I’m quite demanding with my ratings, but this month was really great for me, I feel super pleased with myself for everything I’ve read, so let’s celebrate together! YAY! 🎉
Before continuing to tell you a little about my readings, you know that this month of March has been very intense in general, with the issue of Covid-19 that unfortunately has affected almost all the countries of the world, so obviously It’s a very stressful and difficult month in general for all of us. I tend to be very positive in my life and I really like being at home, so I can’t complain about being at home, but I’ve missed my family a lot and I still do because I can’t see them, so that has affected me a lot, on the other hand, I know that staying at home is the best, healthiest and safest right now. I LOVE you and I send you all my energy of absolute love wherever you are, I promise that everything will be fine very soon. 🥰

As always I can’t leave another month of this year without thanking you for your unconditional support with me and with my blog, you don’t know how much it means to me, your support, your likes, your comments, all that encourages me to improve every day to only bring you the best and also fills my soul and makes me extremely happy, so THANK YOU SO SO MUCH. 😍 On the other hand, OMG, I’ve had so many problems with WordPress, in general I like it very much, I’ve never had problems that I haven’t been able to solve, but this month has been hell, some of my posts were published but they never appeared in the reader, most of you didn’t see them, then I had some problems with the editor and it was all very stressful and frustrating. I hope that WordPress will soon solve this kind of thing, so we can create peace and with confidence. And despite these technical problems you’ve still supported me and I’ve been posting my content a bit on twitter and you have shown me a lot of support so thank you, my beautiful friends, seriously, I have no words, I’m just blessed to have you! ❤️ 😭

Well, leaving all those negative things aside for a while, I want to focus on the good of this month, so I’ll focus on my reading. I read all the books I had in my TBR, with the exception of one, so that’s super successful for me.  👏🏻
I read a couple of sequels that I loved with all my heart, they met and even exceeded my expectations, so I have nothing but wonders to say about them. This month also, it was my first time participating in a blog tour and I had a lot of fun, I’m very grateful, it’s a great experience and I also ended up enjoying the book a lot, despite the fact that it’s a genre that I don’t read since a while ago. 😊
On the other hand, I have a super disappointing reading for me, especially because I thought I would love that book, so I’m sad! I’ll tell you a little more about it later. #unpopularopinionALERT
And last but not least, I’m continuing with my personal challenge of reading YA well-known old trilogies/series, I’m having a lot of fun with this challenge and this time it has been super successful, I adored what I read so I’m super excited to talk to you more about it. 😍

Now, let’s stop with this long introduction that I always love to do 😅 , and let’s jump directly to the important thing, I’m very happy to share another month with you, so without further ado, I hope you can find some interesting reading here & let’s begin! 🍂Read More »

February Wrap Up | Witchy Reads, Out of my Comfort Zone & First DNF of the year 🎍

🎍 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my February Wrap Up! where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. I think this has been a pretty good month, but it happened too fast for my taste, I usually enjoy February a lot because it’s the birthday month and everything feels very exciting, but on the other hand, it may be good a good thing that was a fast month because I’m so ready for the colder seasons to come, I’m in need of my beautiful autumn, I can’t wait! 🍂

As I said, it was my birthday on February 22 🎊, I turned 26, I have a birthday post if you want to check it out, I’m leaving it HERE. So, yeah! has been a truly beautiful month, I’ve spent time with my family and I concluded that I’ve never I felt better than right now, so I can’t complain I had a very nice day with my boyfriend and my loved ones & besides all that, I’m SO SO blessed to have each one of you in my life, I’ve never had so many comments of love and beautiful wishes on my birthday before!! 🥰  It makes me want to cry because it’s really a blessing, you made me feel so special and loved, and you don’t know how much it means to me to have you, SO SO happy to be part of this beautiful community. Thank you, guys! 😭  *feeling shy*

My month was quite good in terms of reading, you’ll see more as always in my statistics, but basically, I read a normal amount for me and I’ve had a couple of books that I’ve loved with all my heart, in general, I enjoyed almost everything I read, which is always a good thing. This year I’m undoubtedly prioritizing reading things that I think I’d like or I’m very curious about, I want to focus more on that instead of the amount I read in itself, you know? 👏🏻
I participate in the #Februwitchy I had a lot of fun and I read 2 of my favorite books of the year so far thanks to this, so super happy to have participated, I read only two books for the read-a-thon but it’s ok, I just wanted to be part, such a great idea to read about witches, which is something that I LOVE so much. 🧙‍♀️ Spoiler Alert! I’m in fact writing about witches in my own project, so you can imagine how passionate I am.
Then I also read a romance with a lot of hype and pick a book from my TBR Jar, which is full with your choices from my TBR LOWS & HIGHS posts, and you’ll see how it went, but I’m glad to be doing this, is a way to read books that have been in my TBR forever.
Plus, I have a couple of ARCs to talk to you about, one of them was an amazing surprise, probably a great revelation of this 2020. 😍

Super excited to talk to you about ALL these readings and share my thoughts, I feel so energized today, for some reason, I think I’m feeling the March vibes in me(? lol … Now, Sofi stops talking & Let’s START!, I hope you enjoy. 🎍Read More »

January Wrap up | Trying a new bookish challenge & a couple of ARCs 🎍

🎍 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day full of good readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new post… my first Wrap Up of the year *happy celebration* where I’ll tell you ALL about my readings of the month. Super excited to be here for another year, sharing with you and having the beautiful possibility of expressing my thoughts on the books I read, so obviously, I’m very grateful to you for letting me be part of a bit of your life, means so much to me. 🥰 Now speaking briefly about the month, in general, I think it has been a pretty good month, I’ve heard many people say that it’s a very long month and that it has been slow but for me, personally, it has been super fast and I can’t believe that February almost starts, it’s crazy. I’m super excited for this new year on the blog and in my life in general, so I’m living it very peacefully, really feeling these new cycle vibes.

I really want this new year to be one of organization and planning for me, I’ve always been a person who has had multiple goals and this year I want to start working on them and learn to be focused 👏🏻, one of them was to be more organized and I think I’ve started well with it, especially in terms of the blog, I also wrote my first discussion post which I know sounds kind of simple, perhaps for many of you, but it has always been a huge challenge, and I dared myself to do it, finally, and have had such an amazing support of you all, like is so crazy… makes incredibly happy and encourages me to try to make more of those posts, it was a positive experience, really. 😍 Another of my goals is that I want to start several reading challenges for myself and also clean my TBR once and for all, and I’ve also done both, which you have surely seen on the blog during this January. I plan to continue this initiative next month and try to bring you more original posts and new ideas to share with you. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT, my loves, keeps me wanting to create more and more. 😍

In terms of reading, I think it has been a great month, you’ll see, as always in my statistics of the month below, but in summary, I’ve read most of my TBR and I’ve also been able to complete my challenge of reading a series chosen by you & I’m really excited about! It was a super fun experience. 💞  I’ve read a couple of ARCs with quite successful results, and I’ve also read a highly YA popular series… which I’m dying to tell you more about, so without further ado let’s start, and I hope you enjoy it! 🎍Read More »

December Wrap Up || Finishing Trilogies & Prioritizing 2020 Plans 🌾

🌾 Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day & you’re enjoying your reading 💞 Today I bring you my beloved Wrap Up of the month of December, where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month. This is officially the last Wrap Up of 2019, guys! Isn’t that crazy? This year really flew for me, but it has been in summary a great blessing in terms of my blogging life and a great learning and growth journey in my personal life. So I’m super happy to have gone through all these experiences to get where I am today, but also super ready to start a 2020 with renewed energy and many projects. 🥰

Before I start, I can’t say goodbye to this year without thanking you for being there for me, honestly and from the bottom of my heart, you don’t know how much your comments and “likes” mean, all your interactions with me on Twitter, I’ve met wonderful people of generous souls and also bloggers who inspire me every day, so I just grateful and I’m very excited to share another year with you, so I hope you decide to stay because nothing would make me happier and there’s much more I want to share with you. ❤️ 🌟

In terms of reading this month has been a bit crazy, of course and as expected, I ended up reading much less than I planned, but still, I feel satisfied with what I’ve read because I fulfilled my goal that was to end with two trilogies that I’ve really loved, I’m kind of nostalgic about it but it’s also a great experience, so I’ll talk more about it below. I’ve also dedicated myself to start reading my first ARC of 2020 and an author has been kind enough to send me his work also to review and it has been a great experience, so I feel happy about it. 😄 👏🏻
I think that in general, I’ve been much more focused on planning for next year in terms of my life and the blog and things related to my reading and writing, of which I tell you everything in the post of my goals if you want to check it out, and also I’m planning to do a new reading journal again for next year but try new things and I’m quite entertained with it, watching videos and things, I’m obsessed, I cannot lie. I feel like a little girl buying pens and things for my notebook  😂
So I’ve read a very large book, so I’m pleased with myself, and although I had time to read something else before the end of the month, I didn’t want to force myself, I’ve already achieved my Goodreads Challenge, I’ve read 63 books in total this year, which is great, so I don’t feel pressure and I thought it was best to take it easy and use the time to plan things for the next year instead.  😊

So super excited to share with you what I’ve read during the month and also as always, I’ll be sharing my favorite posts and some more detailed statistics. I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU again for always being there, I see you 🌾 Read More »

WOW, what a month, you guys! It has been an emotions rollercoaster, no doubt. The month began with me going away on a mini-break/vacation thing and visiting family, and I finish with my mother’s surgery and has been a crazy month, really. On the one hand, I’m happy because I look back and I’m lucky that I have a wonderful family and I’m grateful because my mother has had the opportunity to go to surgery to improve her of life quality and that’s wonderful, but on the other hand, I’ve been so stressed because I had to deal with a lot of things, I’0m the big sister, you know lol, so it was an intense month I would say. Because of everything I previously told you, it has been a busy month, so I haven’t had the chance to read much, yet I’m happy to have been able to fit 3 books in my super busy month. So in spite of everything, I would call it successful 😊 , because I also enjoyed EVERYTHING I read, some more and others less, but all of them great books that I die to share with you. I read books by my favorite authors: Taylor Jenkins Reid & Leigh Bardugo, I’ve both had them in my bookshelf for a while now, so I was super excited to finally read them and I had another super unexpected reading of a subject that I love … I’m so excited to start telling you how I felt about each one of these books and to know your opinion! 😍 So, without further ado, let’s start & LOVE YOU! 🌻Read More »
