April TBR | Trying to Catch Up on My Reading! : Arcs, Big Books, Continuing Series & New Releases. ๐Ÿ‚

ย ๐Ÿ‚ย Hi, friends, how are you? I hope you’re doing great, safe, and surrounded by the best people & readings! โค๏ธย Today I’m super excited because it will be my first TBR since I’m back, so somehow everything feels almost new.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Autumn is starting here where I live and that makes me so happy! my favorite season, no doubt, can you believe that next year I’ll be experiencing my birthday in winter for the first time in my life? CRAZY!.ย ๐Ÿ˜ As you know, this is the post where we discuss and share all about my plans for the new month in terms of reading & where I’m also uncontrollable when it comes to creating lists lol, hopefully, I’ll try to be more reasonable about the latter this year, and I’ll be giving myself a TBR that I actually feel like I can complete. ๐Ÿ˜…ย

This time, guys, you’ll notice that I’m not doing a Wrap-Up, which was originally going to go before this post, this is because I haven’t read almost anything this past monthย ๐Ÿฅบ, it has been a month of getting back in tune with everything I had to do, I’ve been catching up with you, I’ve been trying to organize some things in my life as well, I’ve been visiting family that lives far away, and I’ve also been in town shopping for my trip and obviously planning all that, as well. So never mind, it’s ok, I read a 500-page book which is a super positive thing, that book was The Kiss of Deception (The Remnant Chronicles, #1) by Mary E. Pearson, in case you want to check out my thoughts it’s the first book I have reviewed with my new review structure, so I’m very excited about that fact.ย ๐Ÿ’žย
Obviously, I’m not here to beat myself up, I probably could have done better, but that’s okay, I’m getting back into this whole blogging thing, so I respect my time.โ˜•๏ธ
The really good news, guys, is that after getting more involved in the community after my break, I feel more motivated to catch up with my reading, so I’m crossing my fingers that April will be a successful month!ย ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿปย

So, what will I be reading this April?ย ๐Ÿค” Well, my idea, as the title says, is to catch up, I have several ARCs that I’m extremely grateful to have received, and I want to get to read them, at least in their month of release even if I don’t reach the specific date, I still want to try it. Also, on the other hand, I have a new release from one of my favorite authors, which I’ll be buddy reading, I’ll be starting a duology in preparation for the second book, & I also plan to continue a series I’ve recently started (I think this one is easy to figure out).โšก๏ธโšก๏ธโšก๏ธย
So with this little teaser, I think it’s the perfect time to get straight to what we are here for, I already want to share with you all the books I plan to read and also hear about your plans as well! Let’s support each other, we can do this!ย ๐Ÿฅฐ So, without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!ย ๐Ÿ‚ย

November Wrap Up & December Plans | Incredible ARCs, but less Reading than I Anticipated + Some of my Plans for the last Month of 2021! โ˜€๏ธ

โ˜€๏ธย Hello, bookish friends! I hope you’re having a day full of blessings and the best reads! โค๏ธ Today, as always at this time of the month, I bring you one of my favorite posts to share with you: my monthly Wrap Up & TBR! where, of course, I share with you my past readings and future plans, as we catch up a bit.๐Ÿ˜Šโœจ November has been a crazy month in terms of my personal life, I’ve had ups and downs, and although you know that this isn’t a place where I usually share the negatives of my life, I feel I should mention that one of those situations has been that my parents split up (in fact, I mean my stepdad and my mom, but it’s the same thing for me), so even though I already have a life outside my parents’ house, this has affected the family structure, and clearly has had me very distracted from all my reading and the blogosphere in general. I’ve spent most of my time accompanying my younger siblings and being a support for them, so that’s where my focus has been and probably will be for at least the duration of this year. I also have a new job and that has been taking quite a bit out of me, so overall, I haven’t done very well with my reading. Still, I always like to convey how important it’s to take care of yourself and take your time, so I’ll preach what I say and be super supportive of myself. I’ve read what I can and that’s enough.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป Now, things are slowly taking shape and everything will come back together in time, so I know that even though my life is all over the place right now it will all be for the better. I want to thank you so much for how understanding you always are and also thank you for all the beautiful comments you take the time to write on each post, it means so much to me, every interaction with you makes my days.ย ๐Ÿฅบย ๐Ÿฅบย ๐Ÿฅบย

Of course, I’ll still be sharing what I’ve read, because even though I’ve only read three books they have all been great, so that makes me very happy. ๐Ÿ˜ I have a series of books that even though it’s still in the process of being created, I must recommend to you because so far it’s one of those hidden gems, another one of those readings is a mystery ARC by a super popular author that never disappoints & lastly, I also have an unexpected read, that clearly wasn’t in my plans but I’m happy to have given it a chance because I found what I was looking for, something light, romantic and very inspiring. ๐Ÿ’ž

 ๐Ÿ˜…

Friends, one more clarification before we begin. This month I’ll not be doing a TBR for December for obvious reasons, I really don’t want to put pressure on myself to read, so I’ll just be reading what I feel like at the moment and then we can do some reading updates during December to catch up on what I’ve been doing. Sorry, I know it’s not the usual, I really love watching TBRs, so I understand if it’s a bit disappointing, but I still hope to come across some amazing books to enjoy. If you want a little hint of what I might be reading, I invite you to check out my last month’s TBR, as there I included several books that are still my priority. ๐Ÿฅฐ
I hope you’re ready and comfortable for today’s post ๐Ÿฟ,
enjoy it very much and as always, don’t hesitate to share your thoughts in the comments! Now, without further ado, let’s GET STARTED! โ˜€๏ธ

October Wrap Up & November TBR | Lots of Spooky Books to Share with Youย ๐ŸŽƒ, plus: Catching up on my Readings Before 2022 Comes! โ˜€๏ธ

โ˜€๏ธย Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month!โค๏ธย Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of October, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of November!. And here we are! another month has passed and we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the year, guys, that’s SO crazy!ย ๐Ÿ˜ฎ the year flew by completely, I hope you all are taking it easy, it has been a strange and changing year so my best wishes to you for the last 2 months ahead of us.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย  So, my October was pretty good, you know I love horror season, so I’ve been enjoying it a lot, watching horror movies as I love it so much, and also of course with some spooky books as well.ย ๐ŸŒ™ย  Maybe I should share with you all about my favorite horror movies, I never thought about it, but even if it’s not bookish related it could be fun, so let me know if it’s something you would like to see in the future.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปย

Before we start what we come here today for, I want to share with you that this is a very important month for me in the blog because I’ll be celebrating my 5th blogiversary! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!?!?!ย ๐ŸŽ‰ ย it seems like only yesterday that I started my baby blog, time flies when you do something you enjoy, right? Because of this, and also because I’m looking forward to a little change, I would like to start making changes to the blog in terms of image, I’m working on creating new headers, logos, and cute little things, to give it a new look and feel like it’s more like myself, you know?ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I just want my blog to look more like me every day, and when I grew up myself in life I feel that my blog has to reflect that too, so I feel ready to give it a little touch-up. Obviously, I’m not an artist, sorry about that ๐Ÿ˜…, I have no idea about design, so it will be a month of trial and error. So if you see some changes happening, that’s why.
I also want to tell you that I LOVE you, thank you so much for supporting me and being there during all these years, I’m having a great time in this community!ย ๐Ÿ˜šย

Love It Awww GIF by Rosanna Pansino

So, in terms of reading this has been a great month, I’m very happy I’ve been able to start reading more consistently than in previous months where it was all disaster and reading slumps lol, I think finally the Halloween spirit came to save me and revive the reader in me. I ended up reading 5 books during the month of October, which coming from reading almost nothing is more than positive for me, so let’s celebrate!!! *little dance*ย ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿปย
Honestly, even though I read a good amount, I didn’t read any books that I’m passionate about or loved completely, which is kind of sad because I picked books that I thought I would love, but well that’s ok, anyway, I got two solid 4 stars and that’s always great!ย ๐Ÿ˜ and also I have a lot of books ahead of me for this month of November, where, as I told you,
it will be all about catching up a bit with my reading and challenges that I have set for myself in general.ย ๐ŸŒŸย

Now, without further ado, because my intros are always SO DAMN LONGย ๐Ÿ˜‚ , let’s jump right into today’s post, I’m excited to share what I’ve read and my thoughts with you, as well as a little bit about what I’ll be reading during the monthโ€ฆ. Let’s get started!!! โ˜€๏ธย

September Wrap Up (or something like that) & October TBR | I’M BACK! Lots of Blogging Plans & a Huge Spooky Pile of Books for Horror Month ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ

ย ๐ŸŒ™ย Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! โค๏ธย Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of September, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of October!.ย I’m back babies! I’ve missed you SO MUCHย ๐Ÿฅบ, and I’m super excited to be back after these two super necessary weeks off, where I’ve taken a total break from all kinds of social media and even of my own phone, I know that doing this always recharges me to come back to my routine a little more positive and with better energy.โšก๏ธ So obviously, I hope you all have had the best weeks and overall a great September, which by the way, where did it go? it has flown by for me! Feel free to share with me everything you’ve been doing & reading during the month, I’m really dying to know and chat with you about it.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย
I don’t want to bore you with facts about my personal life so I’ll be brief, I’ve been basically visiting family, and since most of them live in rural areas or far away in the countryside, I’ve been in contact with nature which I loveย ๐ŸŒณ & on the other hand, I’ve made a really important and huge
purchase together with my boyfriend, and I’m very excited to tell you about it, and that’s that I’ve bought my first PC GAMER!!!!
ย ๐Ÿ˜ญ
ย ๐Ÿ˜ญย  I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this ever here, but I love playing videogames, so I’m super excited to finally have a better setting where to play and spend time, also obviously this computer is like a thousand times better than my laptop, so I can possibly generate more content for the blog, since it works faster and has a better system, so it’s something super positive and a treat that we deserved to have in our lives.

As for reading I’m sorry to tell you that I’ll have to disappoint you a bit because I haven’t read anything these past weeksย ๐Ÿ˜•, I haven’t really had the chance and have decided to just take a reading break as well, but I did read one book before I left, and I liked it, and I’m in the middle of a reread which I’ll tell you more about it later.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Having a book blog and saying you didn’t read always feels a little embarrassing, but it’s also nice because I’m glad I can admit when I don’t feel like reading and tell you guys it’s ok if that happens to you too, we’re human and sometimes we can’t do everything, right?ย ๐Ÿ’ž But all this has a bright side because now I feel ready to read, read and read this October which, if you follow the blog for a while you already know is my favorite month to read spooky books, actually it’s more like an excuse where I have a reason to read them because I LOVE those kind of horror genres, or dark plots, and all that cool stuff!ย ๐Ÿ‘ปย ๐Ÿ‘ปย ๐Ÿ‘ปย
Sometimes I hate that I have to live in this hemisphere because it’s spring, and it doesn’t fit at all with what creepy season represents but well, I’ll work with what I have like every year ๐Ÿ˜‚, I’ll read creepy stuff surrounded by flowers, and that’s fine with me!
๐ŸŒบย

As I always like to do, I want to take a little paragraph to thank you guys for the love and support you always have for me and the blog, you know that this space is more than important to me and having you in every post there for me means the world, these connections that we create will always be in my heart and to think that I am at least a small part of someone’s life out there feels beautiful. Thank you SO SO much for these almost 5 years living this experience with me.ย ๐Ÿ˜

you're awesome GIF by Kevin Ross

A little preview of what I want to do for the blog this monthย ๐Ÿ˜Š, is that besides all the spooky themed posts, which will have among them recommendations and tops, I’ll also be introducing a new much more relaxed section where we’ll talk about books (I meanโ€ฆ unexpected.) and I also have a super fun but creppy post in mind that will involve over 30 books!!! ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
I hope you decide to stay and share this month with me and I hope you enjoy today’s post, where of course,
I’ll be sharing more than anything a huge stack with those possible books I’ll be reading in October, all of them or at least most of them, with dark themes, of course! ๐ŸŒ˜ย Now without further ado, make yourself something nice to drink and let’s get started!ย ๐ŸŒ™ย

August Wrap Up & September TBR | Some Witchy Books, Unexpected Ratings, Polarized Reading & Taking a few Weeks Off ๐ŸŒบ

ย ๐ŸŒบย Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of August, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of September!. I think I repeat this every month, so I’m sorry, but OMG, I can’t believe we’re already so close to the end of 2021! it’s crazy!ย ๐Ÿ˜ฒ I hope from the bottom of my heart that you’re all safe and healthy, and have been able to get vaccinated if you wanted to, personally I’ve already had the first dose, so I’m more relaxed now, I’m waiting to be called for the second and luckily I haven’t had any symptoms or anything, so a very good experience. In other news, the month of August has been super quiet for me in my personal life, honestly nothing super amazing has happened but luckily, I did have been feeling very well physically, I’ve returned to be more active and walk which I haven’t done for a while, and that’s very good for me.ย ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ I also want to thank everyone deeply because it has been a very good month for the blog and I’ve been seeing a much more active flow of new people joining the family and that makes me very happy and I’m honestly flattered that you subscribe to the blog and check my posts, I love this space and all the wonderful people I’ve met through it.ย ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿ’•

I’ve embarked this month on a new challenge in terms of reading, where I’ll be reading some favorite books from other book bloggers, which I’m very excited about, and I’ve already made some progress on that TBR specifically so I’m super happy, anyway I’ll share more about it in another post.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I’m looking forward to creating weekly posts where I keep you updated with this challenge maybe, or updating it as well, something will come up, but I promise to keep you posted on all of that. In terms of reading in general, you know I’ve already shared with you that this year has been very busy for me, so I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to read as such so I’ve taken this stance of reading what I can, and being patient with myself, and celebrating every little victory, you know? Still with this mentality I managed to read a bit more than I had planned so YAY!ย ๐ŸŽ‰ I’d say it was a very successful month in terms of reading.ย ๐Ÿ˜„ย
As for the quality of these readings, it’s been a month of highs and lows,
I have some books that really impressed me, some genres that I’m not usually used to reading that I loved, and others that I expected a lot from and really disappointed me, so there’s a little bit of everything here to talk about and analyze today. We have a bit of romance, a bit of sci-fi, mystery and above all a lot of magic! Would I really be myself if I didn’t read stuff about witches?โ€ฆit’s literally all I’ve been reading this year ๐Ÿ˜….

โ€ผ๏ธย Another thing I want to share with you before starting with the post, is that I’ll be taking 2 weeks off in September where I won’t be uploading anything to the blog, I might read a little but I don’t really promise anything, you’ll see that my TBR for the month is very general because I don’t even know how much I’ll actually read, but well, this is something I do every year together with my boyfriend and we take the opportunity to relax, visit our families and really be with each other, so maybe during those two weeks reading won’t be exactly my priority, and that’s perfectly fine. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF & TAKE BREAKS is SO important for your mental health! โค๏ธโค๏ธย
Still, I’ll be back with my reading updates for you, and obviously I’ll share a bit of those books that could be in my stack.

Mental Health Flowers GIF by mtv

Now without further ado, thank you for being there on the other side supporting me, I LOVE YOU!!!ย ๐Ÿฅฐ I have the best readers and this is by far the best community, so super honored to belong & I hope you obviously enjoy today’s post, and let me know all your thoughts in the comments. Now yes, LET’S GET STARTED!ย ๐ŸŒบย

TBR Challenge | Reading Book Bloggers’ Favorite Books โ˜๏ธ

โ˜๏ธ Hi, beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of amazing reads.โค๏ธ Today I’m super excited not only to finally show you all this new project but also super excited and happy to be inaugurating a new category on the blog! It’s going to be so much fun I can’t wait to tell you all about it so let’s get started. This new category I’m talking about will be called “TBR Challenge” ๐Ÿฅณ (nothing too fancy, I know lol) and it will be a section on the blog where I’ll be, as the title clearly states, putting myself under different reading challenges, this will not only hopefully be fun to bring you a new type of content, but also hopefully help me to stay motivated with my reading, and above all, and most importantly, to read more books that are already on my TBR. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป My idea isn’t to make this something super regular, being honest, I want to do it slowly so I don’t feel the pressure and I’ll be giving myself an estimated time to finish each challenge I’m facing. I want this to be an achievable thing. ๐Ÿ˜Š
I hope this is something fun that you like and that you join me during this new journey of literary challenges, of course, you can leave me your ideas for new challenges to do in the future, I already have some written down, but it never hurts.

Happy Fifth Harmony GIF by Music Choice

So, this time I bring you my first TBR Challenge where I’ll be reading 5 favorite books from 5 book bloggers I love. I’m very excited about this idea, it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, so I’m happy to finally share it here, and get started with this challenge. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

First, I would like to clarify a couple of things so that everyone is aware and this is much clearer.โ€ผ๏ธ
The books I chose
are books that these five bloggers loved and books that they gave 5 stars to, ok? I didn’t particularly find anything that said “OMG, this book is my favorite book of my life” you know? but I understand that they loved them completely because of the rating, so those are the books that I chose and will be reading. I wanted to make this clear just in case.
On the other hand, I’ve chosen the bloggers for this first round a bit randomly, but
I also chose from those people who always support me and are here for me, as a way to show them my love and you know, I love having the chance to mention them so you can also follow them and enjoy their content.
Another thing that I think is very important to mention is that in the end
no matter if I like or dislike these books, this is meant to be a super fun experience because obviously we all have different reading tastes and that’s the entertaining part too, you know? So I‘ll read everything very relaxed knowing that my chosen bloggers are all wonderfully kind and won’t hate me if I don’t like any of these books lol.
Lastly and to jump right into today’s post, I also want to comment that
I’ve given myself 2 months at the most to finish this mini-TBR, I know other people can easily read this in less than a month, but I don’t want to put myself under pressure, I prefer to take it slow and most of all enjoy the experience, because if you guys like it I would LOVE to bring more of this kind of challenges to the blog. ๐Ÿ’•

Of course, this introduction was going to be long because I had a lot to clarify, but still, if there’s any doubt you have about it just let me know in the comments and I’ll be happy to clarify it. Now yes, without further ado, I hope you enjoy this new section & this first challenge, INFINITE THANKS to the five bloggers I’ll be choosing for their wonderful content ๐Ÿฅฐ, I had a lot to choose from, it was funโ€ฆ And now, LET’S GET STARTED! โ˜๏ธ

July Wrap Up & August TBR | Leaving my Reading Slump Behind, Plus: Exciting & Ambitious Reading Plan (Secret TBR Announcement!) โ„๏ธ

โ„๏ธย Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month!โค๏ธย Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of July, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of August!. I can’t believe it’s August already, guys! What’s going on? This 2021 is going by too fast, really, but well, we’ll have to take advantage of every moment then and, above all, give it our all with our readingsโ€ฆ WE GOT THIS!ย ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป This is my first year since I started reading that I’m reading such a small amount of books, so in some way, it’s hard for me because I would love to read more. Still, on the other hand, I understand I’m prioritizing many other things, especially myself, you know? I’m choosing not to put unnecessary pressure on myself, and that also makes me feel proud and is something I recommend, without a doubt, so in summary, I’m okay reading little this year; the important thing is that I’ve found amazing readings so far, high-quality readings I sincerely appreciate, and I hope that continues to be so!!! ๐Ÿ˜ย
Before I start, I wanted to thank you very much for all the love and support; I told you that I was going through a difficult situation, I wasn’t feeling well, and I thank you deeply for the concern and the beautiful words you’ve had for me,
thank you SO much; you’ll always have an important place in my heart as my wonderful bookish family.ย ๐Ÿฅบ I feel much more positive about this month, and I know that everything will be more than fine not only for me but for you too. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Today’s post is going to be a little bit different than usual, this time I’ve chosen not to show you entirely my whole plan for this month, as I’ll be doing another post about it, which I’ll tell you a little bit more about at the end of this post, I hope you’re as excited as I am because this will involve you in some way. I think that’s super fun; I can’t wait.ย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿปย ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป I wanted to do something different, too, because I just came off a reading slump, and we all know they’re the worst, so I wanted to keep myself motivated to continue my reading enthusiasm, which has been coming back quite a bit during the month of July and that’s definitely the best news!ย ๐ŸŒŸย
So, this month I’ve read 3 whole books, almost 4; I would say I’m actually reading something right now, I’m about to finish it, though, but I’ll still be counting it for this mont
โ˜บ๏ธ; I hope that’s not cheating ๐Ÿ˜…. Anyway, I’ll be telling you more about it next. I’ve been re-reading, which I think is the best remedy for when you feel slumpy; I highly recommend it; it always works wonders with me, so obviously this time it worked too, and I’m back to that state I love so much when I’m really excited to pick up a book and read it, you know? I’ve also been reading new releases this past month, which I’m excited to tell you about, and another book I finished in July as well, and although I already share with you my thoughts, we’ll also go over it again in this post.

Drinking Coffee GIF by Sara Dietschy

I hope you’re super comfortable sitting with your favorite drink and, of course, that you enjoy the post that I made with lots of love as always. As I mentioned before, I’ll be telling you a bit of what I’ve read in the month of July. Although I do plan to share some of my “possible reads,” I choose this time to mostly keep the little secret of what I’ll be reading in its entirety but still stay tuned because I’ll be announcing it with more details at the end of this post. ๐Ÿ˜Šย Thank you so much for always being there for me, and without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED! โ„๏ธ

June Wrap Up & July TBR | Trying to get out of a Reading Slump: Re-Readings, Most Anticipated Books & 5 Star Predictions! โ„๏ธ

โ„๏ธ Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! โค๏ธ Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of June, plus: What Iโ€™m going to read in the month of July!. ๐Ÿฅฐ  I come from a very difficult month in personal terms, there have been significant changes in my life and I’m trying to get back to my center and to “normality” so to speak, soโ€ฆ no doubt, I’ve been super distracted and away from my reading. This month I have no excuses, I’ve read very little, but still I’m proud of myself and I’ll not be too hard on myself either because I know that sometimes life gets in the way and there are other things that you have to take care of, right? I wanted to share this with you, maybe at some point I would like to talk more in depth since my blog is a reflection of me, it’s always important for me to be honest and open, but always of course, respecting my time, so when I feel ready we’ll talk more about my life and what’s happening right now, for now I ask you to send me a lot of that beautiful energy that you always give me and everything will be fine, you know I’m very positive and that will not change. ๐Ÿฅบ ๐Ÿฅบ ๐Ÿฅบ

I wanted to start from the beginning telling you where I am, so you know and then leave it behind to continue, as always, with the best energy and all the enthusiasm that I always want to transmit with my blog.โœจ
I want to tell you that, on the other hand, this month has been great for me in terms of posts,
I think I’ve done my best and I’ve managed to upload more posts despite being busy, so YAY FOR ME! ๐Ÿฅณย I think next month I hope it will also be very good in terms of posts and content since I’ll have a little more free time to dedicate to my beloved space in the world.ย ๐Ÿ˜ย
In terms of reading, despite having a beautiful TBR planned all dedicated to Pride Month, I haven’t gotten to finish even one of those books (sad for ever), but I did get to read my two ARCs which is a good thing. I OBVIOUSLY want to read those books still, so I’ll plan something special soon to read them, maybe a 24hs reading or a personal readathon, like a challenge, it would be fun, I’ll be telling you more about it in the future. ๐Ÿ˜Šย So yeah,
I’ve read 2 books, both, as I mentioned before, ARCs, and both Really Good, I really enjoyed them a lot, but besides telling you a little bit about them today, I also want to share with you that I’m in the middle of reading one book and I’m loving it! I hope I can finish it this month, so I can share my review, I really can’t wait.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Despite being in the middle of an interesting and unexpected Reading Slump (lol) I’m not going to let it beat me and I’ll be going into a fun challenge I’ve set for myself this month, I plan to not only read, of course, but I want to try to read a little variety within the following categories: Two Re-Reads, Two New Releases & Two 5-Star Predictions! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
I’m super excited to share this month with you and see how I’m doing in terms of reading, I’ll be putting 6 books on my TBR this month within the above categories and the challenge is to try to read each one of them. I‘ve proposed this to myself as I feel that in the previous months I’ve been neglecting my TBR, so I would like to refocus and also I think it’s a fun way to overcome my Reading Slump.
So wish me luck, I think I will need it! ๐Ÿ˜„

May Wrap Up & June TBR | My First Readathon of the Year, LGBTQ+ Books & Trying to Avoid a Reading Slump ๐Ÿ‚

๐Ÿ‚ Hi, guys! I hope youโ€™re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! โค๏ธ Today Iโ€™ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what Iโ€™ve read during the month of May, plus: What I’m going to read in the month of June!. ๐Ÿฅฐ Where has this month gone, guys? I feel like yesterday was the day I uploaded my previous Wrap Up and TBR, it’s crazy how fast this year is going by, really WOW, we have to know how to enjoy each day to the fullest. So I don’t have much to tell you about this month, I think that more than anything the things that are happening in my country have impacted me a bit, in general, I’m very positive about the world even though I’m also very aware of everything happening, I always try to put the best face to the situation, but this time it has touched me a little more since my country has returned to Phase one, I’m from Argentina, for those who don’t know yet, so, yeah, everything has returned to Phase one and having a commercial business right now is a new challenge that I’m facing ๐Ÿ˜”, but I know that soon we’ll come out of this all together and stronger, I always have a lot of faith and I hope that the new restrictions are for the better. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

In the midst of all this that’s happening out in the world, I’ve been trying to read, but again I feel I haven’t read as much as I would have liked, even so, I’m happy because I know that I always give my best and I’m at this stage where I allow myself to rest and focus more on myself and it’s also important to remind ourselves that putting ourselves first is essential ๐Ÿ’ž, but I do want to share with you that by the end of the month I’ve been able to achieve a very good balance between blogging, reading and working, so I’m super happy on that side because they’re those little achievements that I always talk to you about and that mean a lot. ๐Ÿ˜„

I have very exciting plans for the month of June, I feel optimistic that I’ll be able to achieve each of my goals this time, so I’m dying to share a little with you. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป On the one hand, I’ve already thought of some blog posts, there’s a discussion one that has me super excited, where we’ll talk super honestly about blogging and our personal projects, but I also wanted to do something fun and original with respect to my list posts and recommendations, plus: maybe some book tags finally lol. On the other hand, I’ll be participating in the #LGBTQMonth which is a readathon hosting by Ross from Royal Bookshelf, he has created a super fun board to follow, where the main goal is, of course, to read books with characters or authors belonging to the LGBT+ community, so if you want to check it out, you should do it! you still have time to participate since this readathon lasts the whole month of June. ๐ŸŒˆ This has me super excited, I’ve already planned an amazing and diverse stack that I’ll be sharing with you below. I was also looking forward to some readathon this month as I’ve been feeling a bit slumpy, so I think it can be an entertaining way to get back to my reading rhythm and stay on track. ๐Ÿ˜Š I also thought that it would be a good idea to re-read a favorite, so even though I’ll not be putting here the books that I possibly want to re-read, I’ll keep it in mind if I need it during the month and I’ll share it with you too, you know re-reading is for me THE PERFECT WAY to get out of a reading slump, so without a doubt it’s a possibility for me. ๐ŸŒŸ

As for my readings of the month, I’ve read 4 books, which is quite avarenge, not bad, and I’m glad to see that I’m always quite varied in terms of genres and even formats, so I like that cause allows me to share different aspects of each book with you & I’ve also enjoyed all of them which is always something to celebrate!!! ๐Ÿฅณ Before starting with the post I want to thank you very deeply for the support and love in each comment and of course with each like and visit as in each shared post. ๐Ÿฅบ I appreciate so much that you’re there for me each month and I hope to be giving you back a little of the same, I LOVE YOU, you’re wonderful & without further ado, we all have a wonderful month ahead of us, so let’s start planning it together!!! LET’S GO!!! ๐Ÿ‚

๐Ÿ‚ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day filled with the best readings & obviously, I hope you all had a beautiful past month! โค๏ธ Today I’ve returned with one of my favorite posts to share with you my Wrap Up of the month, where I tell you all about what I’ve read during the month of April. April was a very positive month for me in terms of reading, I’m more than happy to tell you that I FINALLY started to accommodate my schedules a little better to actually be able to READ, so that has me extremely pleased.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป On the other hand, I still have to learn to manage my times to be able to bring you more content, or at least other types of posts, I don’t want to fall into always bringing you the same things, you know? ๐Ÿ’ป So I’m working on it, but still super grateful to be able to continue maintaining this space that I love so much, and have your support that simply means the world to me, so thank you, friends! ๐Ÿฅบ

In other news, my business is doing very well luckily so that’s always something to celebrate, and also I’m super excited because there’s almost nothing left for the 6k followers on the blog! likeโ€ฆWHAT!!! ๐ŸŽ‰ I can’t believe it, I don’t deserve you, I’ve been blessed with all of you, it makes me happy that there are still people who want to be part of this small family, I love you so much!! ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ So, well enough fangirling over you all for a second lol cause, I also want to share with you that I’ve started to watch Anime for the first time in my life, my brothers are obsessed, so they insisted that I should try so here I am, I finally did it and I’m really enjoying the experience, so let’s see how that go.๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป Also I started watching Doctor Who again because I have no control I love that series, so I started watching it from scratch and it’s ALL I need. โ˜„๏ธ PS: I’m watching SHADOW & BONE! ๐ŸฆŒ And loving it, my heart cannot with the perfection of the characters, I haven’t finished it yet, so I’ll tell you more once I do it, for now, I want to say that it’s an excellent job what they’ve done with this adaptation, I’m loving it. ๐Ÿ˜

Now having shared a little with you about what I’ve been doing in April, I want to tell you my plans for the month of May, which aren’t really many, is mainly to upload a little more content to the blog ๐Ÿ”ฅ, but I wouldn’t like to slow down my pace of reading so I’ll be focusing a lot on that, plus I’ll keep checking blogs and supporting your content, so expect to see a bit of me on your blog if you have one during this month too. โœจ

Now, we go directly to what concerns us today, HAVE I READ SOMETHING DURING THE MONTH OF APRIL? YES, I have read! *celebration dance* ๐Ÿ’ƒ I’ve read 5 books, and I know it doesn’t sound like much compared to other bookish people, but it has been a great achievement for me coming from quite busy months, I finally feel that during the last two months I’ve been able to go back a little to my normality by reading a little more ๐Ÿ˜Š and also, always super positive, I’ve enjoyed each of my readings this month, which is incredible, not only that, but I really don’t think I’ve read a single bad book this month, so that’s great, really.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I’ve read a couple of spooky books with dark themes, and more intense atmospheres, but on the other hand, I’ve also given the chance to a super light reading that has surprised me for good. I read all my ARCs of the month (YAY!), I’ve also finished a series that I adore, and finally, I’ve read one of my 5-star predictions, which I’ll tell you more about below (I still plan to make a separate post about my 5 stars predictions for being more specific about it) ๐Ÿฅฐ Super excited to share with you my thoughts about all these books, I know that there are many reviews that I still have to write, but I promise that it’s something I will do soon, I’m thinking of a new format of quick reviews to be able to get up to date, but always as the main point to give you as much info as possible and all my thoughts. Thanks again, for EVERYTHING! I LOVE you and I wish you only happiness ๐Ÿ˜˜, now without further ado, because Sofi LOVES to talk apparently, lol โ€ฆ LET’S START!! ๐Ÿ‚
