2021 Goals & Top 5 Books I Want to Read this Year βš‘️

⚑️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, surrounded by good readings and lots of love! ❀️ Today I’m here to bring you a combination of posts that I love doing at the beginning of each year and since I’m not having much free time I’ve chosen to do a kind of fun “mash-up” of both topics to chat a little with you about it.
Super excited to share with you my Goals for 2021 in terms of reading & blogging, as well as I will be showing you the 5 books I hope to read during the year. 😍 I always make a longer list with the books I want to read during the year, but I’ve realized that later I end up not reading them all and that’s frustrating, so I prefer to create a smaller list and make sure I stuck with it. To make the post more fun and to make my readings more varied, I’ll be playing around with the categories where I’ll place each book, for example, varying the genres as well as the release dates and others.Β πŸ‘πŸ»
As for my goals for the year,
this 2021 I have many personal goals that I could share with you later, of course, but this time in this post I choose to share with you all those goals related to blogging and my readings.
I hope you enjoy the post, my loves, I’m happy to have the possibility to share with you and above all, I’m excited that you also share with me what plans you have for this new year, you know that I love knowing what you think and exchanging opinions is so much fun! 😊
Thank you SO much for choosing to stay for one more post,
you’re wonderful πŸ₯Ί, I hope you like it! Make yourself your favorite drink, and get comfortable because I’m ready to START! ⚑️

PS: Thank you for understanding that I don’t have so much time on my hands right now, every comment of support and love that I’ve received has made me move to tears. Knowing that you support me and will not forget me has made me feel deeply fortunate πŸ˜ .

So today I’ll share with you first, my readings for December, which have obviously been much less than I expected, but they were still positive & I’ll also share with you my readings for this month!! I’m very excited about that because I plan to give my reading a little change and give myself something lighter, so I can read while I adjust to my new job and new schedules. πŸ˜Š  So even though I won’t be able to read as much as always, I still hope to find wonderful readings this year so that I can continue to share only the best with you!! πŸ˜
Fun Fact: I only needed 1 book more to finish my 2020 Goodreads Reading Challenge LOL, I think it’s funny because maybe I could have completed it, but I ended up reading 69 books in 2020 and that’s not bad at all!
 πŸ˜‚

So, I don’t want to make this introduction infinite like I always end up doing lol, you know me, I love talking to you, so to summarize, I’m grateful for the beginning of this new year, for the little blessings of every day and especially for you and for giving me a place in your life.❀️ Also, super excited to bring you new content this year and much, much more books to recommend and to discuss about. Now, without further ado, I can’t wait to share my past and future readings with you, so LET’S START! β˜€οΈ

December TBR | Catching Up: Finishing Some Series & Exciting 2020 ARCs β˜€οΈ

β˜€οΈΒ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of December. I still don’t know how, but we have reached the last month of the year!! Isn’t that crazy? surely 2020 will be one of those years that we’ll never forget and not for the best reasons, but luckily it has passed super fast for me, I’m excited for the new year to come and I hope it’s full of blessings and good news to the world, I think we all deserve that.Β πŸ™πŸ»
So here I am today to share with you my reading list for this last month of the year. When you’re reading this I’ll be on my break, so I don’t know how much I’ll be reading during this first week but that’s fine, this month will be a month of relaxation for me, so it’s okay if I don’t read too much, on the other hand, I’m SO excited to be able to share with you ALL the end of the year posts!! 😍
When I return from my break I’ll be sharing with you my best readings, my worst, and all those types of posts that I love to do every year.

My plan for this month is also to do a lot of blog hopping, I think I should give you back a little of all the support that you have given me, I feel super blessed to be part of this community, so I’ll try to support you all as much as I can, super excited for checking all your posts!! 🌟

So my reading plans are basically to finish catching up on some things, so in this way go into 2021 with a new vibe and eager to start new readings. First, I’ll be finishing some series, that’s really exciting for me, at last, I’ll be reading the final books of several series that I’m loving so far, and I’m dying to share that with you πŸ₯°Β & on the other hand, I still have a couple of ARCs that I want to read because they’re the last ARCs that I have left from this year’s releases and I would like to get into next year without any ARCs from 2020, you know? both books come out on December 1st, so I won’t get to read them for their release date but obviously, I’ll be reading and reviewing them during their release month, so I hope that’s enough, anyway super excited to tell you more about them! 😊
Then, if I’m lucky enough to finish with my priorities,
I’ll be adding my Back-Up Pile with two books that I would like to be able to read before the year ends, it’s fine if I can’t, though, there’s no pressure, but it’s something that I also want to share with you today.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β

So, super excited to share my December readings with you, I hope you have the best end of the year and above all that you and your family are safe and healthy.❀️ Now without further ado, I hope you decide to stay & let’s get started! β˜€οΈΒ

November TBR | Catching up on ARCs, Re-reading some faves & Participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time! πŸŒ»

🌻 Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of November. I can already tell you and surely you yourself will have realized it: this month is an ambitious month, where I’ll be doing many different things, so OMG, it will be a busy month, but I feel super prepared to give my best in each of my activities, so whatever the end result is, I’ll be super proud of myself & I’m already super excited to share everything with you.Β πŸ₯°
First, I want to tell you that
in the month of November the blog is turning 4 years old 🎊, more precisely on November 14, so of course, I’ll be doing something very special that will include a post to share with you celebrating this moment & a Giveaway on Twitter 🌟, so please if you still don’t follow me there, do it, I don’t want anyone to miss the opportunity to participate, but actuality, all this is a simple gesture of love towards you and a way of saying THANK YOU to the support you gave me throughout the years, I’m so grateful for you.Β πŸ₯ΊΒ πŸ₯ΊΒ πŸ₯Ί

As the title says, I’ll be part of NaNoWriMo for the first time ever this year and I feel super excited about it, I think it will be fun, and I hope it will help me and be an incentive to develop my WIP as much as possible.Β πŸ‘πŸ» What I’m most excited about being part of this event, is being able to share a little of what I write with the world and with you especially, and being able to feel inspired by all the projects that others will be writing, I’m also excited to be able to meet other ideas and share and give them my support, I think it’s a very good time to work on my ideas and finally be able to move forward and give them a better shape. 🌲
Of course, I plan to share the process with you, for that every Sunday of the month I’ll have an update on my writing here on the blog and obviously, if you’re interested, I’ll share a little about what I’m writing, what it’s about, and all that, there are simply many things I would love to discuss with you. 😍
Besides all this, I feel that sharing a little of my project with you could be a lot of learning for me, knowing your thoughts will be fun and I hope that all this experience will help me improve my writing and have new ideas,
I’m open to all kinds of respectful criticizing, I want to grow and learn, so I’m ready! I hope you’re interested in sharing this month of writing with me every Sunday & of course, I can’t wait to find out what you’re working on if you’ll participate as well.Β πŸ₯³Β

My reading month will be super focused on reading all the ARCs I haven’t read yet, above all, I want to prioritize those that will be released or have already been released during 2020 & And I’ll also be participating in a Blog Tour this month, of which I must say, I’m beyond excited!Β πŸ™ŒπŸ» so that will be all my focus on the reading area lol, if I get to read them all then, something that makes me very excited is to start re-reading one of my favorite fantasy series because there’s very little left for the release of the next book in the series. So although this is not really my priority as such in the month, it’s something I want to add just in case, if I can’t with that, though, it’s fine, I don’t feel any kind of pressure, is something I just would like to do. 😊

So my loves, this is all I have for you today, this will be a month with many things, I want you to know that I’ll be very focused on my writing which is fine for me, but still, I will continue to update in the blog as always, only that I probably have to get some posts scheduled, you’ll still have a lot of content. I adore you, I hope you have the best month & I hope you enjoy this TBR, let me know everything you will be reading or doing this month in the comments 😍, and without further ado, let’s get started! 🌻

October TBR | Trying to read all my spooky books: Hocus Pocus Readathon & Gothtober Readathon πŸŽƒ

πŸŽƒ Hi, my beautifull bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of October. Guys, I’m SO EXCITED cause the horror month has officially begun and it’s one of my favorite months of the year because if you don’t know it yet, you should know that I LOVE everything that has to do with scary things: movies, books, EVERYTHING. πŸ˜ So like every year I will be watching many spooky series and horror movies, as well as those that are within the genre like, mystery or suspense, and obviously, I’m here today to share with you ALL my readings, of course, that are super spooky and disturbing, so really really excited and happy that this season begins. πŸ‘» Here in Argentina, there’s no such thing as Halloween, so I’ll be celebrating it on my own, like every year!!! and I hope you stay there all this month accompanying me, I’ve planned some spooky recommendations and other posts that I’m really excited about to share with you, so stay tuned, it will be a beautiful and creepy month! πŸ₯³
As always before I start to tell you a bit about my plans for the month, I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the support and love you have given me the previous month, I’m SOOOO happy to have you in my life, you have no idea, this blog means the world for me, as well as being part of this community that’s so wonderful. πŸ’ž  I LOVE YOU, ALWAYS & ALWAYS.
 πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί

So, I plan this month to participate in two readathons, I really couldn’t choose only one and LOVE the ideas of both, the creators have been super original and you can see both have worked so hard, so I want to give my support by participating, it will be SO MUCH FUN. πŸ‘πŸ»
The first will be
Hocus Pocus Readathon πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ, a Readathon that I’m sure you’ve heard mentioned, is created by @pagesnink and @werewolflious & takes place from October 1st until the 31st. I LOVE that in this Readathon we have Teams: “Team Sanderson Sisters”, “Team Undead” & “Team Trick or Treaters”. Each Team has its own prompts, as well as each Team also has a Strength and a Weakness, all of which is perfectly detailed on Twitter, where you’ll find a thread with all the information you need to know, also where you can join to win points for your team. In my case, I’ll be #TEAMSANDERSONSISTERS and super excited for my team, and I have a very exciting stack to share with you later.
On the other hand, we have
Gothtober Readathon πŸ’€, which let me tell you, it has some BEAUTIFUL graphics, you can see the work put into it and I simply love each of the promps that I’ll later be sharing with you. This Gothic Readathon is hosted by @ladette_M, @Oliviascatastro, and @llittlewolf_ & will be taking place throughout the whole month of October as well. This also has a wonderful thread on Twitter where you can go to see all the info and also some recommendations for each prompt, which I’ll share with you below.

I’ve been able to put together a stack with books that I’ll be convincing and repeating for many of the prompts of both Readathons, so I don’t have to read one for each prompt because it would be impossible for me to do so. But I’m really happy with what I accomplished, I have a decent stack of spooky books that I’m very excited to read.  πŸ₯° To be honest with you I’ll not be prioritizing my ARCs this month, I want to mention it directly because I have to be true to myself and this month I feel like I want to read other things, and that’s fine, even so, I always enjoy my ARCs and love the possibility of being able to be approved for each one of them, so I’ll read more in November. πŸ˜Š
And I think that’s it, hope I don’t forget to mention anything, I’m super excited about jumping right into what’s important right and sharing ALL my readings for this month with you, so without further ado, make yourself comfortable, prepare a delicious coffee &
LET’S START! πŸŽƒ

September TBR | The Month I Want to Read It ALL: Latinx Book Bingo & Exciting ARCs πŸŒ»

πŸŒ» Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of September. Can you believe that there are only 4 months until the end of the year? It’s just so crazy, but looking at how our 2020 has been maybe it’s a good thing, right? πŸ‘πŸ»
I’m very excited about my plans for this month because I just coming out of my reading slump and I feel ready to read a little bit more, which is great! Even so, I’ll not promise that I’ll read each of the books that I’ve planned because I know that sometimes I lose control and I get a little ambitious lol, but I do want to try to read as much as I can and the most important thing is that I hope to enjoy the process. πŸ˜Š Of course,
I want to thank you for always supporting me, August has been a great month for the blog and also for me, and in large part I owe it to you and to every comment of love that means the world for me, so I never want to miss the chance to say THANK YOU and I really appreciate what you do for me. πŸ₯Ί

Perhaps you have noticed that now there’s a small sunflower accompanying this month’s title and that means that spring will be coming this month to Argentina, so I’m planning to focus on reading some contemporary books that I’ve had for a while, since I feel that the warmer weather is perfect for it. πŸ₯° So, this month I’ll be participating in a Readathon and that’s Latinx Book Bingo and will take place from September 15 to October 15, which is Hispanic Heritage Month, is hosted by Paola, Allie (Allie With Books), and Sofia (Bookish Wanderess). For this Readathon the girls have created a Bingo Borad, of course, which I’ll show you below and maybe even though some of my readings will coincide with some promps, I’ve decided to focus on the books I already own, so in general my challenge will be to read as many books by Latinx authors and representations as humanly possible throughout the month of September, maybe I’ll also be reading some in October, but you know that I usually focus more on spooky books during that month, so my goal in September is to read as much as I can. πŸ˜ I love supporting my people and this wonderful idea, so if you didn’t know about it yet and you feel like it, I invite you to participate by at least reading a couple of books or just one book by a Latinx author, that would be incredible to show your support. πŸ’ž
Apart from this
I’ll also be focusing on my ARCs and I have several Blog Tours in which I will be participating as well, I feel super excited for them, because they are books that I’m dying to read and share the experience with you. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

I think that this month I’ll not be using my “Back Up Pile” because I’ll already be adding a lot of books by Latinx authors, so I want to focus mainly on them, and I’ll see as the month progresses. I’m super excited to share everything that I’ll be reading this month πŸ˜„, I hope you enjoy it and tell me what you’ll be reading in the comments, you know that I love chatting with you. Now, without further ado, let’s get started! πŸŒ»

Top 10 | Possible Spooky TBR… Isn’t it Halloween already? πŸŒ’

πŸŒ’ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, surrounded by AMAZING readings.❀️ Today I’m more than excited because as you’ll see from the title I’ll be sharing with you the most spooky books of my TBR, that could become possible readings for Halloween season in October! I know you’re probably thinking “Sofi, it’s August, are you okay?” lol and YES, I KNOW! πŸ˜… But I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I want to read that kind of spooky, creepy, atmospherically engaging plotline. So I thought, even though it’s August and October is still a little while away, it would be fun to gather my possible readings for Halloween and, by the way, know your opinions on each book on my list and thus be able to create a scary stack to read in the future. πŸ˜  Also, of course, I’d love to hear your spooky recommendations for me, as I’m ready to add them all to my TBR.

When I have in mind reading something spooky in general I think of a spooky atmosphere that keeps you on the edge of the seat wanting to know what will happen, I also love anything that has to do with witches, it’s my jam & of course, weird and dark plots. So you’ll find a bit of all of that on my list today.  πŸ˜Š

I hope you like the idea, that you can enjoy the post, and that you especially find new readings for your own TBR! πŸ™ŒπŸ» You know that I would love to know everything you think in the comments, it will be a lot of fun, so let’s START! πŸŒ’ Read More »

August TBR | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Trying a New Category! β„️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of August. SO excited to be sharing another month of possible readings with you, I always have SO MUCH FUN! Ok, so this month I’ve planned a somewhat ambitious TBR… maybe, I know I’m coming out of my Reading Slump, so all these plans are always keeping in mind that I want to take it easy, but I still wanted to add a little more book options than I usually put, since I’ll be inaugurating a new section in my TBRs from now on, which I hope will help me to be more relaxed with respect to my lists and have a greater variety of options according to my mood. πŸ€© Super excited to share it s with you but before, I want to come back to thank you for the incredible July that you’ve made me go through, filled with love and support… THANK YOU, my beautiful friends, here for an even better August. πŸ‘πŸ» You know that if you want me to support you with anything you can send me an e-mail or find me on Twitter, I’m always more than happy to give you a hand with what I can & I’ll be doing a LOT of blogs hopping this month, I’m looking forward to seeing that it’s been happening on your blog!  πŸ˜

So going back to my reading this August, I have many plans!! First, I want to participate in #ARCAugust because it’s the perfect time to read as many ARCs as possible and so feel more relaxed about it, catching up with them. I have a selection of ARCs that I’m really excited about, I have several sequels, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing what will happen in these stories.
Then I’ll also be participating in the Latinx Readathon, a Readathon hosted by Sofia (Aelin’s Kingdom), Nikkie (Nikkie Reads), Jane JosΓ©e (Big Black Books) & ( lou reading things ), I leave you all the links so that you follow these wonderful girls & this Readathon is obviously all about reading books by Latinx authors and/or that the book contains some kind of Latinx representation in them, but it also includes many super fun proms in an incredible bingo that the girls have created. My decision to participate was a last-minute thing because I didn’t know about Readathon, but when I knew it I really had to do it to show my support for this incredible idea and as Latina, I feel super proud of this incredible work, so if you want to join in it’s not too late, you can do it simply by picking up a book from a Latinx author. All the information is in the Twitter account, which you can access by clicking on the name itself and I hope you like it and decide to support the idea! ❀️
I know it will not be possible for me to read a book for each on of the promps because they’re many, so I decided to do a bingo line and I’ll be reading 3 books for that, which I’ll share with you in a moment and I almost forgot, the readathon takes place throughout the whole month of August. πŸ˜Š

And finally, because this is getting long (to no one’s surprise πŸ˜‚ ) I want to share with you my new section, where I’ll be piling even more books to add to my TBR, I know it sounds crazy, but my idea is something like this: This section will be called “The Back-Up Pile” in there I’ll have a mini-list with possible readings, what does this mean? Well, sometimes and after going through my reading slump, I realized that my reading mood has been changing a lot and sometimes I don’t feel really motivated to read something that’s already in my TBR originally or maybe I just want to change the genre, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a backup list where I can choose some readings that I already own, some that remain from my past TBR and I didn’t get to read or just new buys and releases that I’m really excited about, in this way I think my TBRs will be more fun and didactical & I’ll also have more options just in case I feel like reading something different during the month.  πŸ₯°
I hope you get what I mean, I know it sounds a bit messy, but once I show it to you I know you’ll understand better. Let me know in the comments if you like the idea, if it would be something that would work for you or if you would like to try it, I would love that & obviously, let me know everything about the books in this section, I would LOVE to know your thoughts!  πŸ˜

Now, without further ado, I LOVE YOU  πŸŒ» & let the books party begin! ❄️ Read More »

My TBR Jar | 30+ Books βš±οΈ

⚱️ Hi friends, I hope you’re having a beautiful day and you’re enjoying all your reading! ❀️ Today I’ve decided to start organizing my reading lists and I realized that I’ve never shared all the books that are in my TBR here, so I think it’s a good idea to do it now, not just to share with you and talk a little about them, but I also think it will help me to remember to prioritize them as well, and maybe start reading some in the coming months. 😊
I had a super extensive TBR jar at the beginning of the year, but I decided to do it again while doing my TBR Lows & Highs series, so from scratch, I decided to create my TBR jar with your help through my series of posts and then put in my Jar only those books that you think I should give a chance to and also those that have been in my TBR for years! Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β I really appreciate all the help that you have given me through my posts every week choosing one or more books for my TBR Jar, now I have a very solid list of books that I’ll be giving a chance over time, I also plan to try a chapter of some at some point and also share it with you. My goal is to finally give them a chance to decide if they’re for me or not and share my thoughts with you, some of them are really popular.
Of course, I would love to know your thoughts about each one of them, that would help me a lot and I think it will be a fun way to finally give them a chance. I hope you enjoy it, thank you SO SO much for the support and love of alwaysΒ πŸ₯°, and without further ado, let’s get started! ⚱️ Read More »

July TBR | Catching up with my Readings & PopCulture Readathon β„️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of July. This month will be the month where I’ll try to catch up on my readings after having a very bad June, thank God it was a pretty short month for me because I was urgent to start with a new month and new energy. πŸ’« I know I say this every month, you probably think I’m crazy, but I’m excited for this month and I think it will be the month when I finally read a lot and catch up on many readings I’ve been wanting to read since the beginning of the year. 😍

I’ve planned this structure where I’ve chosen books that I’m really excited about, some ARCs and new releases, in this way, I think I’ll be able to defeat the reading slump and stay motivated throughout the month.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β In addition to these plans, I’ll be participating in PopCulture Readathon 🀩 , which not only sounds incredible but IS INCREDIBLE. When I found out about it on Twitter, I knew that I had to participate even when I wasn’t reading anything at the time. I LOVE the idea, is inspired by movies from the ’90s! I think it’s brilliant and I love how Whitney, the creator, has organized everything in a way that we all have many options and a wide range of promps and boards: Teen Dream Family Affair” “Thrill Ride & The Adult Table, which I LOVE! I also think that there’s no specific goal, you can do it as you like and how it resonates with you, try to fill the board you choose or you can do it in a bingo-style or as you want, in my case, I’ll try to read as many books as I can of the board that I’ve chosen. 😊  In case you want to know more about the readathon and places to find it, I’ll leave you all the links here above and I’m very happy to see that many of us will be participating or, in my case, trying to participate, so it will be even more fun!

The Craft Witcheswalking GIF - TheCraft Witcheswalking FlyingKiss ...

❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ Before starting I want to thank you for being there for me throughout the month of June supporting my work on the blog and to me as a person, I don’t deserve you, you’re wonderful and I’m absolutely proud and happy to be part of the community. I know that lately, our family that we have created here, has been somewhat problematic in general, so I want to let you know that this will always be a safe place for you, as positive as it can be and you’ll always have all the freedom to express yourself as you want to do it. I also want to say that if you’re feeling uncomfortable or un-motivated, please don’t hesitate to stay away for a while if it’s what you need, it’s totally understandable and your mental health comes first. I LOVE YOU & I’m planning a discussion on how to combat reading slump for this month if you’re interested stay around because I know that sadly many of us are going through the same thing, but I know that we going to do it so much better this month, July will be our month of reading! ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️ ❀️

I have a huge stack of books planned to share with you below, I’ve decided to choose a book for each promp on the board because I think it’s fun and I just wanted to choose to have a lot of variety and possibilities, even so, I’m aware that I’ll not read all this and it’s ok, I still wanted to try to read as much as I can.Β πŸ₯°Β I’m excited to share it with you, let me know EVERYTHING in the comments & without further ado, LET’S START! ❄️ Read More »
