October TBR | Trying to read all my spooky books: Hocus Pocus Readathon & Gothtober Readathon πŸŽƒ

πŸŽƒ Hi, my beautifull bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I’m sharing with you my reading plans for the month of October. Guys, I’m SO EXCITED cause the horror month has officially begun and it’s one of my favorite months of the year because if you don’t know it yet, you should know that I LOVE everything that has to do with scary things: movies, books, EVERYTHING. πŸ˜ So like every year I will be watching many spooky series and horror movies, as well as those that are within the genre like, mystery or suspense, and obviously, I’m here today to share with you ALL my readings, of course, that are super spooky and disturbing, so really really excited and happy that this season begins. πŸ‘» Here in Argentina, there’s no such thing as Halloween, so I’ll be celebrating it on my own, like every year!!! and I hope you stay there all this month accompanying me, I’ve planned some spooky recommendations and other posts that I’m really excited about to share with you, so stay tuned, it will be a beautiful and creepy month! πŸ₯³
As always before I start to tell you a bit about my plans for the month, I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the support and love you have given me the previous month, I’m SOOOO happy to have you in my life, you have no idea, this blog means the world for me, as well as being part of this community that’s so wonderful. πŸ’ž  I LOVE YOU, ALWAYS & ALWAYS.
 πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί

So, I plan this month to participate in two readathons, I really couldn’t choose only one and LOVE the ideas of both, the creators have been super original and you can see both have worked so hard, so I want to give my support by participating, it will be SO MUCH FUN. πŸ‘πŸ»
The first will be
Hocus Pocus Readathon πŸ§™πŸ»β€β™€οΈ, a Readathon that I’m sure you’ve heard mentioned, is created by @pagesnink and @werewolflious & takes place from October 1st until the 31st. I LOVE that in this Readathon we have Teams: “Team Sanderson Sisters”, “Team Undead” & “Team Trick or Treaters”. Each Team has its own prompts, as well as each Team also has a Strength and a Weakness, all of which is perfectly detailed on Twitter, where you’ll find a thread with all the information you need to know, also where you can join to win points for your team. In my case, I’ll be #TEAMSANDERSONSISTERS and super excited for my team, and I have a very exciting stack to share with you later.
On the other hand, we have
Gothtober Readathon πŸ’€, which let me tell you, it has some BEAUTIFUL graphics, you can see the work put into it and I simply love each of the promps that I’ll later be sharing with you. This Gothic Readathon is hosted by @ladette_M, @Oliviascatastro, and @llittlewolf_ & will be taking place throughout the whole month of October as well. This also has a wonderful thread on Twitter where you can go to see all the info and also some recommendations for each prompt, which I’ll share with you below.

I’ve been able to put together a stack with books that I’ll be convincing and repeating for many of the prompts of both Readathons, so I don’t have to read one for each prompt because it would be impossible for me to do so. But I’m really happy with what I accomplished, I have a decent stack of spooky books that I’m very excited to read.  πŸ₯° To be honest with you I’ll not be prioritizing my ARCs this month, I want to mention it directly because I have to be true to myself and this month I feel like I want to read other things, and that’s fine, even so, I always enjoy my ARCs and love the possibility of being able to be approved for each one of them, so I’ll read more in November. πŸ˜Š
And I think that’s it, hope I don’t forget to mention anything, I’m super excited about jumping right into what’s important right and sharing ALL my readings for this month with you, so without further ado, make yourself comfortable, prepare a delicious coffee &
LET’S START! πŸŽƒ

Contemporary-A-Thon TBR || Round #5 || 2019 πŸ’›

🌟 Hi, my beautiful bookish people, I hope you’re having an incredible start to the week, full of light and good energy, I send you from here all my love!Β πŸ’•Β  Today I bring you as you can see by the title my TBR for this fifth round of the Contemporary-A-Thon, I’d already told you that I would be participating so it’s not a surprise, but I hadn’t yet show you what I’ll be reading, so this post is exclusively for this and so, of course, for you to tell me if you’ll be participating and what you’ll be reading! I would love to know. 😊
Contemporary-A-Thon is a read-a-thon that I’ve already participated in a couple of times and I really LOVE it, you know that I love fantasy so sometimes I forget about my contemporary books a bit and this is the perfect opportunity for me to concentrate on them and try to read some. I know that I’m not a fast reader so because of this, I’ll not be making an impossibly long TBR, on the contrary, I’ve put together a list where I could comfortably pass all the challenges finishing only 1 book, obviously that wouldn’t be fun, so I’m adding 2 books more, so I have a TBR of 3 books, so I’m quite pleased with my small stack and I’m very excited to talk to you about them.
it’s going to be running from Monday 9/23 to Sunday 9/29, so if you want to know more about it and you want to participate, then I’ll leave Chelsea’s video here below, where you can clarify all your doubts and you can also see the promps.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β
I know that the read-a-thon starts today, but I don’t know if I can start it lol, maybe I’ll start tomorrow because today is my 7 year anniversary with my boyfriend and obviously we ll be celebrating that and I’m probably not even be at home today, but I’ll try and do my best, the important thing is having fun, right?. Now, without further ado, let’s start!🌟Read More »

πŸ’« Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day!Β πŸ’žΒ Today I bring you my TBR for the month of August, where I’ll tell you everything I’ll be reading during the month. This month I’ll be participating for the first time in the N.E.W.Ts, this is the second part of what’s an incredible Magical Read-A-Thon created by Book Roast, who has really done an impressive job creating the promps, the careers and even creates super original content for the read-a-thon that makes everything even more special.Β I highly recommend you check her video announcement out, I’ll leave it above, so you can understand better what it’s all about. In the video description you can find all the information you need, from the careers to a Q&A section where you can clear all your doubts, so don’t hesitate and check it out! 😍
The creator always mentions that you can take this read-a-thon and do it as you want, we’re all welcome to participate if you want to do the O.W.Ls which is the first part, during August you can also do it, or if you prefer not to follow any career and just take the promps you like the most, or, in another case, and as I’ll be doing, you can do the N.E.W.Ts directly and take them as practice if you’ve never experienced this read-a-thon before. 😊

Β πŸ’›Β I was so excited and it was so special for me to be one of the bloggers to give recommendations for this read-a-thon, so if you haven’t found that perfect book yet or have doubts about your TBR, I invite you to check myΒ HufflepuffΒ Study Guide Recommendations post, maybe I can help you to find what you’re looking for!Β πŸ’›Β

So, for my career I’ve chosen Hogwarts Professor, it seemed to me that it was the one that fits most with the books I wanted to read during the month, I could put some ARCs on the list, so YAY! and I also think I can handle the number of books I’ll need to read for it, I’ll be reading 7 books, which is great.Β πŸ˜…Β Also, who wouldn’t want to be a Hogwarts Professor, right? So I don’t want to waste any more time and I want to immediately start and tell you all about what subject I’ll be specializing in to teach and what books I’ll read! Let’s get started, I’m so excited!Β πŸ’« Read More »

πŸ’« Hi guys, I hope you’re having a WONDERFUL day, today I’m super excited because I bring you a special post since I’ll be part of a series recommendations post/videos for what will be the long-awaited second part of the O.W.Ls., this is a Magical Read-A-Thon called N.E.W.Ts. 😍 If you have already participated in the first part then you know kind of what it’s about, but if you haven’t participated yet, like me lol, and you want to do this second part anyway, that’s AMAZING!, you can do it, no problems. I’m going to leave all the information in a link to the official video of the N.E.W.Ts. announcement on the Book Roast channel πŸ’ž, she’s INCREDIBLE, she has created a fantastic system for this read-a-thon, it’s full of interesting things, she has even created several documents explaining everything perfectly where you can get rid of all your doubts, and also you can go to the document where ALL the subjects and promps are, those you should follow according to the career you’ve already chosen. 😊
I’m so bad explaining things, I swear,it’s like a chip in my head turn off every time I try lol, that’s why I don’t want to even try to, it’s a very complex read-a-thon and it’s really well thought out, so please check the link that I leave for you above to get all the information πŸ˜…

I’m so excited and happy to participate in something so big in the community, which I feel blessed to belong to, I know that many people will participate and I can’t wait to share some recommendations with you. πŸ’•
As there are many grades and promps, the created has thought that it would be a good idea to separate ourselves by groups according to our Hogwarts Houses, to bring you some recommendations. In my pot, as everyone knows, I’m Hufflepuff πŸ’›, so I’ve had to bring some recs for Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology & Muggles Studies.πŸ‘πŸ» Each of them has three different promps that you must fulfill in order to achieve your goal. So if you plan or want to take any of those grades, then this is the right place for you!
I’ll be recommending 18 books, I ‘ve decided to do 2 for each promp, so it will be more fun and you’ll also have more options to choose from πŸ‘πŸ»
I’m SO EXCITED, so without more further ado, let’s start!
I hope you enjoy and can find a book to add to your TBR for this wonderful Read-A-ThonπŸ’«

πŸ“–Β Β Hi guys!, I hope you’re having an incredible day, getting ready to start an amazing new year, from here, from my little place in the world, I wish you many successes, love, health and work, in this new year that begins. I know that all of you are capable to achieve all your goals!
In other news, here we are, and I come to tell you all about my readings of the month, or failing that, the lack of them lol.
This month I decided not to do a TBR, I honestly knew that I wouldn’t have much time to read and also I didn’t feel like reading anything specific, so this seemed like a good idea at the time. The good thing is, that I realized that I LOVE and I NEED my TBR, they help me to keep reading, no doubt. The bad thing is, that I’ve read almost nothing and I’m pretty disappointed about it. Although, what I read was good, I expected to do a better job, even more when I was participating in a Read-a-thon as incredible as the Short-a-thon, but well, life got in the way and the results aren’t that good πŸ“–Β Read More »

β˜•οΈΒ Hi guys, I hope you’re having a great day!. I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be participating in the Short-a-thon, this is a new read-a-thon which I’ll tell you more about below.
I think it’s exactly what I needed at this time of year, I’ve been saving short books and novels for this moment since I found out about it and I’m excited to share it with you…

Before telling you everything you need to know about this great read-a-thon, I want to tell you that I will not have a general TBR for the month of December, as we are used to. I love having TBRs and many times they have helped me to keep my reading working as I like, but this month I don’t feel like reading anything specific and I’ve been thinking that what I’ll do is to read whatever appears in my mind and I’ll let myself be guided by my humor and just read what I feel like it, you know?. Even so, I’ll be sharing the books with you throughout the month, and I’ll be uploading reviews of whatever I read, as always.
This could be fun, since it will be as much of a surprise to myself as it is to you. I hope it works!πŸ™ŒπŸ»Β

Now, I want tell you all about this Short-a-thon and maybe you want to join in!β˜•οΈΒ Read More »

Hi guys!, I hope you have an incredible start to the week, today I bring you as the title says, my Contemporary-A-Thon Wrap Up, where I’ll tell you everything about how my first Read-A-Thon was and everything I’ve read this week.πŸ’•Β

I’m a little sad that it’s over but honestly I’m super happy to have participated, as you know I hadn’t picked a lot of books because I know I wasn’t going to be able to read them all and I honestly wanted it to be a fun experience and it really was! I think I’ve proven myself that I’m able to read much more than what I actually read per month and that makes me very happy. Probably what I’ve read doesn’t seem like a lot for many of you, cause I know that you all have read a lot in this Read-A-Thon, but for me it was fantastic and I’m very pleased about it.Β So without further ado, I’ll tell you how it was…Read More »
