I’m so happy and excited to resume my blog and bring back fun content, plus most of all I’ve missed you guys so much, the interactions I have with you were always a fun part of my days, plus I’ve missed all your beautiful blogs, which I’ll be checking out these days. 😊
This post is mostly to reconnect and catch up, I want to tell you a little bit about my life, my plans in general, but obviously, I also want to put myself in order and share with you my ideas for the blog, the content I’ll be doing and also of course, my plans as a reader, plus some books I’ve read these months that I want to tell you about. 🥰
So, if this is the first time you’re here, welcome! 🎉 I love having you and I hope you enjoy this new stage with me, and if you’ve been there since the beginning THANK YOU SO MUCH for that, from the bottom of my heart for the love, and support of all these wonderful years. 🥺 Now yes, without further ado, let’s get started! (I’m trying not to talk too much, this is new lol) 👏🏻
Hi guys, how are you? I hope you’re having a great day surrounded by the best readings, & of course, I hope you had an amazing Christmas.… 🥰 This is honestly a very different post, one that wasn’t on my schedule, one that I wasn’t planning to do, but as you know my priority is always to be honest with you, so today I have to share that I’ll be taking a blogging break of at least 4 months.👋🏻 This is because my current job is taking a lot of my time and at another time I would have continued with the blog anyway but lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stressed to accomplish everything, you know? plus, some family issues are happening that I’ve told you about at some point 🥺, and I don’t want to be in that place again where I feel almost obligated to do everything because in the long run, and more with an activity that we choose to do for enjoyment, love, and passion, it can cause lack of motivation and the last thing I want is to bring you content that I’m not proud of… that’s not what I want to convey with my platform. 😓 So even though it’s a hard decision to make, I know that the right thing to do right now is to take care of my personal life and then come back more relaxed to really enjoy blogging 100% and be part of this beautiful and understanding community. 🙌🏻
There is also something else. This job where I currently am, is not the job that I hope to have permanently, but it’s one that I use as a means to save money and this money has a bigger purpose and I want to share it with you as well. As long as the pandemic and world health issues allow us, we’ll be moving, with my boyfriend Milo, from Argentina to Sweden next year (Stockholm, to be more precise) this will not be our final destination, but it will be a place where we’ll settle down for a while to work.❄️ This is really a huge change in our lives, a leap of faith that we want to make in order to grow and have more economic possibilities and a better lifestyle in general, not only for us but also for our families. 😊 If you yourself are Latina or know a little about Latin America you know that we often have to emigrate to look for better lives and it’s an absolute change since I’m very close to my family, but at the same time I know that it’s time for me to think about myself and pursue my own dreams, I’m also excited to give a better life to my brothers. 💞 It’s A LOT, on the one hand, I’m very excited I know this is the right decision for us and everything will be more than fine, but on the other hand, it’s the adjustment to the idea that soon we won’t be able to see our families as often and it’s a process for them too. So I’m living all this right now, guys, it’s a lot of feelings, but as always I want to emphasize the positives of having the possibility to travel, to grow, and to experience, it will be incredible. So of course with so many changes happening it’s important for me to prioritize my work at least until I save what I need. 🌟
Of course, it never crossed my mind to abandon my blog or close it permanently, that’s something that’s not up for debate for me, doing this makes me happy, I love being in my pajamas writing about books, and I don’t plan to stop doing it. 😍 This is just a period of time that I need and clearly, I wanted to share with you everything I’m going through, so you know the context of my decisions. Not because I feel I have to explain myself but rather because I love sharing with you, I know that in the comments I’ll find words of support and love, and sometimes I need them, so thank you for always being there, for every like, for every comment, and above all, for your passion for reading which many times are inspiring and makes me feel less alone since I have no friends who like to read as well, so as you know this space is incredibly appreciated and the community is part of my life for 5 years now, I’ve met some amazing people and I’m planning to continue doing so. 🤩
The fact that I’ll stop blogging for 4 months doesn’t mean that I will stop being in the community. 🥳 At the moment, I don’t feel like reading, but I know that at some point I will be reading as well, and sharing maybe on Goodreads or maybe I’ll use my Storygraph, any of these things can happen, as well as you can find me on Twitter where I’ll also be sharing a bit of what I’ll be reading. I’ll also take a few minutes to check out your posts, because you know I LOVE to do it, so you won’t be able to get rid of me so easily, I’ll be there to support you. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
I know I wasn’t able to finish my end of the year posts, but well, I know that when I come back I’ll make a summary of that and we’ll talk a little bit about my 2021 bookish in general, ok? Sometimes life surprises you with good and sometimes bad situations and you have to do what you can as a human being, so from my little place I would like to tell you not to be hard on yourself, we do what we can with the tools we have and that’s always enough. I love you deeply, you’re wonderful so get out there and show what you’re capable of creating and giving to the world.❤️❤️❤️

I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, full of the most incredible readings.❤️ Today, as you may have seen from the title,is a special day and a different post in honor of the blog…that’s turning 5 years old!!!It’s just so wonderful for me to think that for 5 years I’ve been doing something that makes me SO deeply happy, that for 5 years I’ve been sharing my thoughts about books with readers around the world and that for 5 years I’ve been learning and growing. 😭😭😭 I say it every year, but it’s the truth, so I’ll say it again, creating this blog was one of my most brilliant ideas like EVER lol, I didn’t think at the time that I would get this far through the years, but looking back, it’s been a complete blessing. 🙏🏻

Super excited to share with you my Goals for 2021 in terms of reading & blogging, as well as I will be showing you the 5 books I hope to read during the year. 😍 I always make a longer list with the books I want to read during the year, but I’ve realized that later I end up not reading them all and that’s frustrating, so I prefer to create a smaller list and make sure I stuck with it. To make the post more fun and to make my readings more varied, I’ll be playing around with the categories where I’ll place each book, for example, varying the genres as well as the release dates and others. 👏🏻 As for my goals for the year, this 2021 I have many personal goals that I could share with you later, of course, but this time in this post I choose to share with you all those goals related to blogging and my readings. It’s been such a crazy and mind-blowing journey, I’m not saying goodbye to it yet, but I feel super nostalgic for some reason. 😅 I love my blog, guys, I know you already know that, but it’s such a special place where I can share the things I think and everything I feel about the books I read and other things as well, but above all, I love this project because I love to share something that I love with other people and being able to all share a moment together, and exchange ideas, is always a lot of fun for me. 🥰 I love the book bloggers community, sometimes there’s a bit of drama happening, but most of the time it is full of wonderful people with huge hearts, who are always willing to help and support others, I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting people extremely creative and talented people who have inspired me all these years. 🙌🏻
