3 Literary Genres I Want to Read More of πŸŒ™

πŸŒ™ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having an absolutely wonderful day, full of the best reading & having the best time. ❀️ Today I’m back with another post, where we’ll chat a bit about those literary genres that I’m looking forward to reading more especially during 2022, either because they will take me a bit out of my comfort zone, or because I like them and haven’t read enough. πŸ€“πŸŒŸ I think what I’m trying or hoping with this post is to keep up with this goal that I’m proposing to myself, and maybe I’ll get to read a little more within these genres, which I must say, to a greater or lesser extent, have already given me many satisfactions and good surprises in previous years. πŸ™ŒπŸ» I also think it’s exciting to come back after having read a little more of each one of them to tell you my experience, and maybe you also want to try new genres out of your comfort zone, I think it’s fun to put these little challenges to keep us motivated with our readings. πŸ₯°

What I’m doing today then is mentioning these 3 literary genres that I want to read more of, but I also want to share with you why I want to read them, and some books that I’ve liked within those genres, as well, as some that I already have on my TBR. I’ll also, obviously, be asking you for your recommendations for me, so I can have a wider variety of books to choose from in these categories below. πŸ“–

Sometimes I feel that with time, when you’ve been reading for years, you can fall into always choosing the same genres because you know they’re the ones that suit you best, or have always worked for you, which isn’t bad, of course, but sometimes I feel that I’m missing out on something for not daring myself to try new genres, as well as there, are some genres that I’ve left aside and I really want to get back toΒ πŸ‘ŒπŸ», so I really hope to have a little breakthrough with it this year especially. 😊
So, I hope that as I always say, hope you enjoy the post, thanks a lot for your supportΒ πŸ’ž & of course, share with me everything you think… and now, without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED!Β πŸŒ™Β

5-Star Book Predictions (2022 Edition) πŸŒŸ

🌟 Hi, friends, how are you? I hope you’re doing great and having a day full of the best reading. ❀️ Today, I’m super excited because this post has almost become an annual thing for meΒ πŸ™ŒπŸ», but even happier to see that it has also become a trend among the community, as it’s always super fun to read as well as do. 😍 And this is obviously the 5-star book predictions, where clearly, as the title suggests, I’ll be naming 5 titles that I think will be 5 stars for me once I read them ⭐️, either because the plot sounds exactly like something I love because the vibe is something I feel will resonate with me or because I’ve heard good things about them already, also another big factor may be that I’ve read the author in the past and have clearly enjoyed them.

This is a post that allows me to play around a bit with my predictions about some books throughout the year which is always fun, but I also feel like it allows me to get more excited about my readings and is a great excuse to pick up these books right away to see how I feel about them.Β πŸ“šΒ  Also, I hope it will be something entertaining for you as my idea as always is to dump all this excitement here on the blog, where I hope to come back with my results and there we’ll see if, in fact, they’ve been 5 stars or not.Β πŸ€” Here below at the end, I’ll give you some related posts and the last updated one I’ve done. I must say that I’m very lucky with this kind of prediction because even when they’re not all 5 stars they are usually 4 or 4.5 which for me is already a success!Β πŸ₯³ I’ve also clearly come across some books that have been disappointments up to 1.5 stars, so really, in the end, anything can happen.Β πŸ˜…Β

Finally, in this post, I’ll be adding 5 2022′ releases that I think will be 5 stars for me, but I also want to mention other titles that I have left from previous years, and I haven’t read yet, to see if I can catch up with them.⚑️ I hope you enjoy the post, I hope you share all your thoughts with me, and that you decide to give it a chance and make your own list cause is always a fun experience to do and also to share, I highly recommend it! Thank you SO much for all the love & support in every post, you’re wonderfulΒ πŸ’ž, and now yes… without further ado, LET’S GET STARTED! 🌟

Recommendation Post | Cry-Worthy & Heart-Touching Young Adult Contemporary Books – Part #1 πŸ’§

Β πŸ’§Β Hi, friends! How are you? I hope you’re doing great and having a day full of good reading & precious moments. ❀️ Today I’ve decided to do again a kind of mini-series here on the blog, after a while of doing one, where we’ll focus on those Contemporary YA books that have touched my heart, have made me reflect, have provoked me to think, have taken me through paths of many feelings and above all, are those stories that move something inside of you which makes them almost unforgettable.Β πŸ₯ΊπŸŒŸΒ
Honestly, I was going to bring you a top 5, but in the end, I would have to leave many excellent books out of the list, so that’s why I decided to make it a 3 part series, which I’ll spread over three months from now, this way we’ll have one of these posts every month from April to June.Β πŸ™ŒπŸ»Β

Many of these books have, of course, already been mentioned in other of my posts over the years 😊, and I even think most of them are on my massive list of 5-star Worthy Contemporaries (I’ll leave that post HERE in case you want to check it out!) and, in other posts related to books that touch on serious and sensitive topics, but I still wanted to come back after a long time with this kind of appreciation posts where I highlight these AMAZING, HEART-TOUCHING works, as I think they’re all really worth it.Β πŸ₯° Plus, obviously, it’s an updated list with new books I’ve read recently and I think they also deserve their place on this kind of list.Β πŸ”₯Β
The books will not be placed in any particular order, guys, they’re randomly placed, they’re all really amazing and are more than recommended by me. As you will notice in the title, I’ve decided to go for the word “Cry-Worthy” 😭 as they’re mostly books that have moved me on a deeper level, and as I’m very sensitive they have honestly made me cry, which isn’t to say that they’re particularly super sad or anything like that, but they’ll undoubtedly touch a part of you due to their sensitive themes of all kinds, from family issues, personal growth, strength, loss, faith, love, and much more. So basically if you want to feel touched by a book this is the right place for you! 😍

I’ve decided to do this mini-series focusing on contemporary stories, and even if some of them have some magical aspect, they’re all stories focused on the contemporary subject as such. I’ve decided to talk about contemporaries now, as I plan to maybe do another post where we can talk a bit more about those books that are deeply significant for me within the fantasy genre, as well.Β πŸ‘πŸ» Obviously, I hope this is something you enjoy a lot, and you can hopefully find many books to add to your TBR.⚑️ You know I love to know what you think so feel free to leave me your comments πŸ’žΒ & now yes, without further ado LET’S GET STARTED!Β πŸ’§Β

My Favorite Book Cover Features πŸ“ΈΒ Β

Β πŸ“ΈΒ Hi, guys! How are you today? I hope you’re having a wonderful day and enjoying your readings. ❀️ Today, I’m super excited, as always, to bring you a new post, this time all about my favorite book cover features! A topic that although I don’t see much of, I think it’s a lot of fun to chat a bit about. 😍 Obviously, we know not to judge a book by its cover, but let’s be honest, sometimes we do and many of those times it’s because it has some feature on it that really catches our attention based on our personal preferences. When I refer to features, I could be talking about any factor that is part of the cover, as well as any detail it has, such as objects, letters, images, colors, and so on.Β πŸ™ŒπŸ»Β
In my case, this time I’ll be sharing with you the 5 fave characteristics that I love to find in the covers every time one is revealed, and they’re those details that make me fall in love with the covers, even before I know what the book is about. 🌟 In this post, we’re going to judge a little bit some of our favorite covers, and we can even go a little deeper and think about what it is that makes us even buy a book just based on the cover, and what it is about it that makes us love it so much. 😊
I hope this will be an entertaining post to also admire some of the book covers I’ll be using as examples today, and I also hope you’ll share with me your own cover preferences, as I’m really curious to know!Β πŸ‘€Β
So without further ado, get comfortable, find your favorite drink β˜•οΈ & let’s get started!Β πŸ“ΈΒ

Book Recommendations | 2021 Book Releases You Must Read Before the Year Ends!Β πŸ“–Β

Β πŸ“–Β Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day and a super positive start to the month! ❀️ I know this year has been crazy for many of us who are still trying to find our place after the madness of the pandemic in the world, so listen to me on this: celebrate every little achievement you have made this 2021 because if you have survived all this, you’re already a queen/king & here, hoping we all have a 2022 full of blessings!Β πŸŽ‰Β
Today I’m excited because
I woke up wanting to talk to you about the best 2021 releases I’ve read, so here we are in this last recommendation post of the year, which I hope you like a lot and it will help you to find new reads.Β πŸ€“Β
Many of the books I’ll mention have been huge surprises for me because although I was excited to read them, I never thought I would enjoy them at the level I did, either for their unique stories, their well-created atmospheres, or the outstanding narration. 😍
So, this is why I’ve chosen them for today’s post where of course
we’ll focus on the 2021 releases I’ve read and highly enjoyed. Plus, I’ll also add some other releases that are on my “priority list” that even though I haven’t read them yet, I’m dying to do it because they sound AMAZING.

The 5 Oldest Book Series on my TBR… that I Still Want to Read πŸ™ŒπŸ»Β

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Hi, my loves!!! hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best readings! ❀️ Today, I’m here with a new post, where we’ll chat a bit about those book series that have been on my TBR the longest, but I still feel like reading them at some point. πŸ˜Š  I think I need to organize my TBR, like,… urgently, especially my physical TBR, so this post isn’t only a fun idea, but I hope it will help me as an incentive to finally read those books that have been on my shelves for the longest period of time. πŸ“š
However, this time I’ve decided to focus on book series, be it trilogies or sagas, it doesn’t really matter, this post will be all about
those series that I own completed on my TBR, even though I haven’t even started them yet. I’m not proud of this, but when I feel like I could love a series or there’s a lot of hype around certain books and they’re all out (or so all of them) sometimes I have the urge to buy the complete set and binge-read them at some point, so that’s pretty much how each of these series has come into my life. πŸ˜… But now, I’ve started to think that it’s been too many years since their release dates, and while that’s not really an impediment for me to read a book, I feel it’s time to decide if I really want to read them, and the answer in general for these 5 series I bring you today is: YES! πŸ‘πŸ» with each one I have different reasons, which I’ll detail in due time, but basically, I still feel quite a lot of urges to sit down and finally devour these very popular and much-loved series, plus I’m generally very curious to know if I’ll like them, and the fact that they’re so well known gives it a little plus, as I’m dying to bring you my thoughts about them to the blog once I read them. πŸ˜
I feel it will be a fun post to do, not only because I feel it will make me want to read these series even more, and not only because it’s a good way to organize myself, but also because I
would love to know your thoughts about them, so I hope you’re ready to share if you’ve loved or hated these series, I would love to know what side you are on and what’s in your mind, so don’t be shy! πŸ₯°
Finally, I hope you enjoy the post, and I invite you to do the same if you feel like it with your own older book series, I’d love to know which ones you haven’t read yet, but you’re dying to do it and why! πŸ’•
I LOVE you,
thank you so much for being there on the other side and for all the love always, now without further ado, let’s get started! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

My last ARCs (Advance Reader Copies) of 2021 & my first ones of 2022! πŸ“š

Β πŸ“šΒ Hi, bookish friends! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of the best readings!❀️ Today, I decided it would be fun to chat a bit about my ARCs, and share with you a small pile that I have yet to read for this 2021, but even more exciting are those that will be my first 2022 ARCs! πŸ‘πŸ»Β
I’m actually feeling super optimistic about my ARC situation, in the future I was super careless about it, and was always requesting more than I could read, which is a bit irresponsible now that I think about it lol, but… over time I’ve found a way to feel more comfortable requesting advanced copies as well as feeling more confident to know which ones to choose and which ones to reject. That has taken me from having a lot of ARCs backlogged from reading to having a 98% rating on NetGalley at one point. Since I’ve been able to control this situation, I’ve wanted to keep it to a number of copies that I know I can handle easily without losing my mind lol, so even when I have books to show you, they won’t be as many as they used to be, in fact now the ones I request myself are books that really interest me or some that I get by accepting requests from authors I’ve read and loved in the past. 😊
I think I’m being a little pickier about the ARCs aspect and that’s fineΒ πŸ‘πŸ», as a book blogger and as someone who has been in the community for over 5 years now and almost 5 years with my blog, I’m aware that while it’s fun to have advanced copies of books to share, it’s not exactly necessary to have good content and engage with the community, so if you’re just starting out in all this, and getting ARCs is something you’re worried about, just don’t my love… relax, it will all come naturally with time and if not, you still have thousands and thousands of books already published to talk about.Β πŸ₯°Β
With all this said and cleared up,
I can’t wait to share these titles with you as they’re books that have me super excited to read and share my thoughts with you! 🌟 Now yes, without further ado, grab your coffee and get comfortable because we’re getting started!Β πŸ“šΒ

Spooky Season Post #5 | 25+ Young Adult Horror: 2021 Book Releases πŸŒ™

πŸŒ™ Hi bookish friends, how are you? I hope you’re doing great, having a day full of the best reading. πŸ–€ Today I bring you another of my spooky season posts where we’ll be exploring in depth my most anticipated releases in the young adult horror genre for this 2021. πŸ”₯ Following with the thread of all these posts of the month, these will be books that are mainly within the horror genre or maybe there are some exceptions of subcategories within this genre, but in general they’re all books focused on spooky themes, creepy atmospheres, disturbing plots and questionable characters. πŸŽƒ
As always, I hope you can find in this list some new books to add to your TBR or some new authors that maybe you haven’t read yet and are interested in doing so.
 πŸ™ŒπŸ»

The following books aren’t categorized under any specific order, I just searched for all of them and I’ll put them randomly below, of course, all of them are this year’s releases and you’ll also have the synopsis for more information, anyway if you want to know the exact date or add it to your TBR I’ll leave you a direct link to Goodreads, as always. 😊
As I know this isn’t a genre that resonates with all of you, I’ve organized a series of lists where you may find other subcategories or genres to enjoy during this season, such as middle-grade books or mystery/thrillers. 🌲 Here’s the list of all the posts in case you want to check them out as well!
: Spooky Season Post #1 | 31 Young Adult Horror Books to Keep You Up at NightΒ | Spooky Season Post #2 | Middle-Grade Spooky Books! 20 Scary Titles, plus: 2021 New Releases | Spooky Season Post #3 | Adult Horror Books! The Creepiest Books to Read With the Lights Off, plus: 2021 New Releases & Spooky Season Post #4 | Mystery/Thriller Book List: My Favorites, On My TBR & 2021 New Releases!.

A small clarification before I continue is that obviously I’ll not be adding all the books within the young adult horror genre that have come out this year, but those that I was looking forward to the most or that I’m looking forward to the most. Maybe in this way you can find some you haven’t heard of yet. 😍
Of course, you’re more than welcome to comment below with all your thoughts about these books, about horror in general or about what you are reading right now, whatever, I love to chat with you!
Thank you so much for supporting this series throughout the month and being there during each post, you guys are EVERYTHING!Β πŸ₯°Β
Now yes, without further ado, I hope you enjoy the post, and let’s get started!

Spooky Season Post #4 | Mystery/Thriller Book List: My Favorites, On My TBR & 2021 New Releases! 🧐

🧐 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of the best and most spooky reading!Β πŸ–€ As promised, today I bring you one of my favorite genres to continue celebrating this horror season by exploring beyond the horror genre itself, because I truly think that a good atmospheric and intriguing mystery/thriller book can be just as spooky as scary books.Β πŸ‘» So, clearly, today I bring you a list where I’ve decided to compile several categories within the mystery/thriller and suspense genre, where I’ll be sharing with you some of my favorite books within the genre, others that intrigue me a lot and therefore are part of my TBR, and, on the other hand, as I always like to do, I’ll be sharing another mini-list with the most intriguing 2021 new releases within the genre!Β πŸ™ŒπŸ»Β

I hope you can enjoy this post as much as the others, I know that horror genre itself can be a bit intimidating for some readers, and that’s fine, so I think exploring other genres is also super valid for all of us to enjoy this seasonΒ πŸ•Έ.
