Top 10 | 2021 Latinx Book Releases 🌾

🌾 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, surrounded by the best readings and the most beautiful moments.❤️ I’m SO excited to bring you today’s post, where I’ll share with you 10 of the most exciting releases (for me) of this 2021 of books written by Latinx authors. 😍 You know that I’ve been thinking a lot, as I already mentioned in my 2021 Goals post, about giving higher priority to books with diversity, which although I think I’ve done last year, I could still do better. And with this thought, I not only mean to read this type of book but also to talk more about them on the blog, and give them the prominence that they well deserve, both to the books and to their authors. That’s why I’ve decided to write this post, because where to start but from my own roots, right? As many of you already know I’m 100% Latina, so I want to focus much more on Latinx authors, so I’ve done a little research and I’m here today with 10 books that I’m most excited to read this year or at least I know I’ll be buying ALL these books, they sound really wonderful.  👏🏻 👏🏻
I’ve tried to include in this list not only contemporary books because I know that there are usually a lot more of that genre, but also we have a bit of paranormal touch that I LOVE & a bit of fantasy too.
I hope, as usual, can give you a list as diverse as possible so you can choose the book that’s best for you and that resonates with you the most to add to your own TBR 🥰
I hope you enjoy the post VERY VERY much and especially that we have a relaxing time to chat a little about these new releases. 🥳
The books aren’t ordered in any specific way, I’m excited by all of them so with that clarified, make yourself comfortable because I’m ready to START!!

Top 5 | My Most Anticipated Books of 2021 🌿

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day with the best readings and peaceful moments.❤️ Today I’ve come back to share with you my most anticipated books of the year, you know that every year I really enjoy creating these lists where I show you the new releases that I’m most excited about and this year will not be the exception. 😍 I’ve decided to focus on my top 5 because I hope and challenge myself to read them all by the end of the year, for this reason, I think the best idea is to keep the list short and easily achievable. 🤓 I also think that it will help me control my impulses to buy books lol, and so I know that these five books are really the ones I want to buy once they came out, to read and share my experience with you.
As I always say, I’m very excited to share these little tops with you, I think that sometimes my literary tastes are kind of different, or at least I feel that books with strange themes or plots always catch my attention, so I hope that in these mini-lists you can find new books you haven’t heard of yet to add to your own TBR. 👏🏻
 👏🏻 👏🏻
I LOVE you, thanks for the support and beautiful comments 🥺, I’m taking advantage of my free day today to write this post and I love every second, really not having so much time to write makes me value it much more, so without further ado, I hope you enjoy it, make yourself comfortable, & GET STARTED! 🌿

2021 Goals & Top 5 Books I Want to Read this Year ⚡️

⚡️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, surrounded by good readings and lots of love! ❤️ Today I’m here to bring you a combination of posts that I love doing at the beginning of each year and since I’m not having much free time I’ve chosen to do a kind of fun “mash-up” of both topics to chat a little with you about it.
Super excited to share with you my Goals for 2021 in terms of reading & blogging, as well as I will be showing you the 5 books I hope to read during the year. 😍 I always make a longer list with the books I want to read during the year, but I’ve realized that later I end up not reading them all and that’s frustrating, so I prefer to create a smaller list and make sure I stuck with it. To make the post more fun and to make my readings more varied, I’ll be playing around with the categories where I’ll place each book, for example, varying the genres as well as the release dates and others. 👏🏻
As for my goals for the year,
this 2021 I have many personal goals that I could share with you later, of course, but this time in this post I choose to share with you all those goals related to blogging and my readings.
I hope you enjoy the post, my loves, I’m happy to have the possibility to share with you and above all, I’m excited that you also share with me what plans you have for this new year, you know that I love knowing what you think and exchanging opinions is so much fun! 😊
Thank you SO much for choosing to stay for one more post,
you’re wonderful 🥺, I hope you like it! Make yourself your favorite drink, and get comfortable because I’m ready to START! ⚡️

PS: Thank you for understanding that I don’t have so much time on my hands right now, every comment of support and love that I’ve received has made me move to tears. Knowing that you support me and will not forget me has made me feel deeply fortunate 😭 .

So today I’ll share with you first, my readings for December, which have obviously been much less than I expected, but they were still positive & I’ll also share with you my readings for this month!! I’m very excited about that because I plan to give my reading a little change and give myself something lighter, so I can read while I adjust to my new job and new schedules. 😊  So even though I won’t be able to read as much as always, I still hope to find wonderful readings this year so that I can continue to share only the best with you!! 😍
Fun Fact: I only needed 1 book more to finish my 2020 Goodreads Reading Challenge LOL, I think it’s funny because maybe I could have completed it, but I ended up reading 69 books in 2020 and that’s not bad at all!
 😂

So, I don’t want to make this introduction infinite like I always end up doing lol, you know me, I love talking to you, so to summarize, I’m grateful for the beginning of this new year, for the little blessings of every day and especially for you and for giving me a place in your life.❤️ Also, super excited to bring you new content this year and much, much more books to recommend and to discuss about. Now, without further ado, I can’t wait to share my past and future readings with you, so LET’S START! ☀️

Favorite Books of 2020 🌿

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings.❤️ Here I am again, my loves, I’ve been super absent in the last week because I’ve got a new job that requires 100% of my time and honestly I haven’t been able to find a moment to dedicate to the blog, or even to read, because when I get home at night I just want to sleep, you know? Anyway, I’m grateful to get back to work and I hope everything goes well with that for me *fingers crossed* 🥺 but I still wanted to come back today to share a new post with you, this time it’s MY FAVORITE POST OF THE YEAR! And it’s because I share my favorite books I’ve read over the past year and we can chat a bit about them. I don’t know how many posts I’ll be capable of uploading from now on, but I promise to do my best to at least bring you one quality post per week, but I’ll see that over time. I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH at the bottom of my heart for the support and love that I still receive from you, even when I’m not being active within the community as I used to be, that means a lot to me, I promise that every time I have free time I’ll use it to check other blogs and support you as I’ve always tried to because even though my life is a bit crazy now my feelings haven’t changed, I love this community and I love blogging as much as reading, so I’ll continue to do so. 😍 😍 😍

So today’s post, as I already mentioned, is the post where I share with you my top with my favorite books of the year, but unlike most of my tops this time the order is important because I’ll be ordering them from my least favorite to my most favorite book of the year, with this I hope to make the post more fun and it’s also like a little challenge for me that I find fun. 👏🏻 Even so, and with that said, it doesn’t mean that I don’t love each of these books so much, from the lowest position to the highest is being part of my list of faves, so obviously I’ve loved all of them. I hope you can add many books from this list to your own TBR and read them to love them as much as I have, I’m so excited to share this list with you! 😊

I hope that each of you had a beautiful Christmas and have an even better New Year, surrounded by your loved ones and if you can’t, cause “pandemic” then I send you all my pure love just for you, I’m sure 2021 will be full of blessings for all of us.  🥰 Now, without further ado, I’m SO excited to be writing this post and sharing all these wonderful books with you, so let’s get started!! Get comfortable and find yourself something tasty to drink, this will be good! 🌿

Least Favorite Books of 2020 🌿

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & wonderful moments.❤️ Super excited to finally bring you a new end of the year post, this time it will be all about those books that I liked the least this year. Of course, it’s always good to clarify that this is only my personal opinion about them and it doesn’t mean that they’re bad books or I hate them, they just haven’t worked for me. 😊 There are a couple that I’ve abandoned and others that simply haven’t resonated with me for centers reason. I know that lately there has been some controversy with this type of posts on Twitter, especially, and I rarely get involved because I don’t like conflict, but I’ll say what I said on the networks, and it’s that sometimes I feel that when we book bloggers or creators of content, talk negatively about some book so everyone talk about it, but when we work hard on our content and publicizing all those books we love throughout the year nobody recognizes our work, so you know what? You can and have all the freedom to talk about those books that haven’t been for you because it’s valid as well and as long as it’s done with respect, it’s fine.  👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Luckily this year it has been difficult for me to choose “bad” books to share with you because I really read things that I really liked, some that I’ve loved and others that have been good, so it was a challenge to find these five books which I’ll talk to you next.
My plan is to share with you these books, from the one I liked the most to the one I liked the least. I’ve also decided to include some books that I’ve DNFed this year for the simple reason that they’ve not been for me and because, to be honest, I had no more “bad” books to talk about and that’s great, of course. 🥰
I’ll do this post as I try to do all my posts, with a lot of respect and love above all, but I’ll also be 100% honest about my opinions, always remembering that it’s not the absolute truth about these books, but rather a personal experience. Now without further ado, let’s start, I hope you enjoy it & also share your opinions with me. 🌿

Double ARC Review | A Curse of Ash and Embers & A Curse of Roses

🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day by the hand of the most incredible readings.❤️ Today I’m more than happy to bring you a double review of two great books that I’ve read this month, and that I also have the pleasure to say have been ARCs, so THANK YOU SO MUCH to Edelweiss+ & NetGalley for the opportunity to read them. Before starting I want to say THANK YOU my loves for all the support that you have been giving me in my posts, little by little I’m catching up, so I promise you that if you’ve commented on my blog at some point, I will be checking your blog soon and anyway I’m determined to visit as many book bloggers as I can, so don’t worry, I’ll end up visiting you, because you deserve the love, and you’re wonderful. I also want to remind you that I’m working on a project where I’m making a list here on my blog with as many book bloggers as I can, so if you want to participate then write to me in THIS POST or wherever place you want, and I will add you. 😍
Now, going back to today’s post, I have two very magical books to share with you, I’ve enjoyed both very much and although I don’t think they’re perfect, I believe that the failures are really superficial and don’t overshadow these great stories about curses and folklore. On the one hand, we have
A Curse of Ash and Embers (Tales of the Blackbone Witches # 1) by Jo Spurrier, a highly atmospheric book made to devour quickly, it’s a super interesting story with great female power behind & on the other hand, we have A Curse of Roses by Diana Pinguicha which is a story that also revolves around a curse where our main character turns everything she eats into flowers and although it sounds almost poetic, it has been a nightmare for her, so she’ll undertake a journey to find a solution, highly based in Portuguese myths and I’ve loved that.
I hope you enjoy the post and decide to add these books to your TBR! Now, without further ado, let’s get started.
