It’s Monday! What are you Reading? 🤔

A Book A Thought (1)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Hi loves!, I hope you’re having a great start to the week, I know it is hard to start after the weekend, so from here, I send THE BEST ENERGIES 🌻 for you all !. Today I bring you the weekly meme “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?”, which I love since it allows us to keep abreast of our recent and future readings, so without further ado let’s start!! Mysterious doors with lizard-head knobs. Talking stone statues. A crazy girl with a hatchet. Yes, Liv’s dreams have been pretty weird lately. Especially the one where she’s in a graveyard at night, watching four boys conduct dark magic rituals.

The strangest part is that Liv recognizes the boys in her dream. They’re classmates from her new school in London, the school where she’s starting over because her mom has moved them to a new country (again). But what’s really scaring Liv is that the dream boys seem to know things about her in real life, things they couldn’t possibly know–unless they actually are in her dreams? Luckily, Liv never could resist a good mystery, and all four of those boys are pretty cute….

New ARCs Recently Approved 🌟

Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME (2)

☕️ Hi guys I hope you’re having an amazing day!. Today I decided to bring you something different, a while ago since I don’t show you the advanced reader copies that so kindly publishers and authors give me to review, and in part this is because I honestly haven’t been requesting so often, since due to the new laws that some pages have imposed it’s now really difficult for an international blogger like me to be approved with an ARC. Even so, sometimes miracles happen lol, and now that I have accumulated a decent amount of books to show you, I’ve decided to do it. Maybe it’s not a post that I’ll start doing often cause of everything I told you before, but even so I’ll try to do it every time I want to share with you some ARCs that I receive.
Here below I’ll specify where each copy is from, but most will always be from pages as NetGalley and Edelweiss, and sometimes from authors as well☕️
I hope you enjoy it!💕 Continue reading

NATIONAL BESTSELLER

A magical debut novel for readers of Naomi Novik’s Uprooted, Erin Morgenstern’s The Night Circus, and Neil Gaiman’s myth-rich fantasies, The Bear and the Nightingale spins an irresistible spell as it announces the arrival of a singular talent with a gorgeous voice.

At the edge of the Russian wilderness, winter lasts most of the year and the snowdrifts grow taller than houses. But Vasilisa doesn’t mind–she spends the winter nights huddled around the embers of a fire with her beloved siblings, listening to her nurse’s fairy tales. Above all, she loves the chilling story of Frost, the blue-eyed winter demon, who appears in the frigid night to claim unwary souls. Wise Russians fear him, her nurse says, and honor the spirits of house and yard and forest that protect their homes from evil.

After Vasilisa’s mother dies, her father goes to Moscow and brings home a new wife. Fiercely devout, city-bred, Vasilisa’s new stepmother forbids her family from honoring the household spirits. The family acquiesces, but Vasilisa is frightened, sensing that more hinges upon their rituals than anyone knows.

And indeed, crops begin to fail, evil creatures of the forest creep nearer, and misfortune stalks the village. All the while, Vasilisa’s stepmother grows ever harsher in her determination to groom her rebellious stepdaughter for either marriage or confinement in a convent.

As danger circles, Vasilisa must defy even the people she loves and call on dangerous gifts she has long concealed–this, in order to protect her family from a threat that seems to have stepped from her nurse’s most frightening tales.

I plan to read 7 books, hopefully, this mont. It’s like a lot for me, I usually have an average of 5 books a month but still I feel very eager to try to push myself a bit and maybe I’ll achieve it, even if I don’t, it’s ok anyway. But, Wish me LUCK!🌸
