🌖 || How often do you visit your local library? || 🌖

Well, this is a bit awkward lol. In my town, there’s only one library but it’s 100% textbooks and for study porpuses, so there’s nothing there like books YA or some kind of novel that might interest me. I would like to have the possibility of having that kind of resource, though, because honestly, I would love to get a book of there to read, but hey, at the moment there’s nothing like that here, so my message out there, is that if you have the possibility of accessing a public library where there are books that you can enjoy to read, values that and love that, because personally, I think it’s a wonderful treasure 😊

 🌖 || What’s your policy on lending books? || 🌖

I have no problem with lending my books, I really love to share, so there’s no problem. On the other hand, I like and feel more pleasure and comfort lending them to someone who I know it’s going to take care of them and really read them, you know? To someone who’s a reader, like me  👍🏻

🌖 || What is your favorite food to snack on while reading? || 🌖

In fact, I don’t usually eat while I read, because… point number one, I’m a disaster so I always fear to ruin everything lol and second, because I can’t focus so well if I’m eating and I’m reading at the same time … WOW, what a multitasking girl. 😂
I drink, though, A LOT of coffee & water ❤️

 🌖 || Share your favorite blog post! || 🌖

OMG, I don’t know if I get this one right, do I have to share a favorite post from my blog?
Well I’ll do that, and I’ll also add my highlights posts of each month around the blogosphere

I don’t know if I have a super favorite one, I tend to love and appreciate my posts a lot, because they all meant an important moment for me, but I’m highlighting this one because I had so much fun doing it, I love Halloween and I also love being able to interact with you in the comments  🥰

🌖 || Do you keep your books organized? || 🌖

Well, YES, I have my books organized, but I don’t have a particular structure to use, I don’t order them by colors or by author or anything like that, in fact, I order them by how it feels good, I hope it makes sense to you 😅
I like to see my bookshelf and feel that beautiful thing inside that tells me that this way is perfectly organized for me, although it’s probably a mess for others. It’s aesthetically beautiful for me and I like it that way 😍

My 5 Question

1 – Have you ever felt so identified with a character that you end up picturing it as yourself?
2 – What thoughts do you have about ARCs?
3 – Do you think that a person who gives 5 stars to everything reads is questionable? What’s your thought about giving low ratings?
4 – Name 3 book bloggers that inspire you!
5 – Can an author’s reputation affect your thinking about his books?

  1. Ahhh thanks so much for nominating me! 🥰 Looking forward to answering your questions!
Haha I also can’t multitask by reading and eating at the same time. Oh well! But it is always nice to have a cup of coffee next to me while I read 😉

  2. That really sucks about the library near you. I’ve started using mine more lately although once I’ve finished what I currently have out & on order I’m going to focus on some of the books that I own for a little while. Yours isn’t linked to any others is it? I just wondered because if it is you can probably order books in from different branches. Also I don’t think I’ve ever got food on a book but I’ve realised I need to be careful with hand cream too. I put some on before bed, started reading, and it marked it 😔

  3. Public libraries with RECREATIONAL books are truly such a luxury that people take for granted 🙁. That’s awesome that you’re so open to lending your books! My friends and I used to trade books with each other because our public library had an identical setup to yours (just textbooks and reference materials 🤢). There’s a sort of magic in connecting to the same story as a friend—especially one that takes care of your book 😉. I was reading the comment thread where I saw you mention maybe you’d create a library of your own, and I thought that would be really neat of you! Idk what it takes to start one up, but I love that you’re open to it haha. It’s one of my dreams to open a more extensive library in my mom’s hometown 😁.
Also, thank you so much for nominating me, Sofii! I really appreciate the thought ❤️.

    • Totally, honey! There’s something very magical about sharing stories. Oh, I would like to, and I would love to be able to create something like that, it would be incredible, like a place to drink coffee and be with your pets while surrounded by books. I dream of a place like that 😍
You’re welcome, honey, I’m dying to know your answers!! ❤️

OMG, YESSS!!! The danger of eating and reading is there and I’m sure that if I tried more often, I would end up with no books 😅
Oh, honey… Thank you SO SO much, that’s so sweet, I LOVE that you love my post!!! 😭 & of course, it’s a pleasure to nominate you, I’m dying to know your answers, love ❤️❤️❤️

  5. Does your library do MEL loans? Or perhaps joined a group of libraries? My local library has a fairly good selection of books, but sometimes they don’t have a specific book. You can find the book through the MEL system and check out the book through your library, but from another library. The hard part is waiting for it to be available at the other library and then the shipping to your library. We can also get books from other local libraries. The cities/townships are large, but small. So if my library doesn’t have something of interest to me, I can drive a few extra minutes to another township or city library and check out one of their books. It has to be a library part of the larger group though, or I would need to use the MEL system.

    • That sounds good!! No, sadly, it doesn’t work that way, the big libraries with a bigger selection of books are located in the bigger cities so I should travel about 5 hours or more to find one. Thank you SO much for sharing your experience, I love knowing how it works in other parts of the world 😊

  6. Wonderful answers, Sofi and congratulations on the award! ❤ I agree that libraries are a wonderful gift that people should not be taking for granted, so many people don't have the same access, or access at all, to libraries and to a great selection of books and it always makes me so sad. I'm in the same case as you and I'd be so happy to have a great library, too, haha 🙂

    • Thank you SO SO much, honey!!!❤️ & Totally, I think there are people who don’t know how lucky they are to be able to access a library, hopefully, one day we can all have libraries in every town and city in the world, reading is wonderful and everyone should be able to enjoy the privilege 😊

  7. Thank you so much!! These intros always make me very emotional! ❤

Uuuh, I hate lending my books 😀 People always take ages to read them, so after a couple of days I start nagging them "have you read it yet? have you?!" "it's been 3 and a half days already, you've had plenty of time to read it!" and so on, ahaha

    • Aww, you’re welcome, you deserve it!!❤️
True fact!! It’s real that normal people (😂) take years to read a book, that can be a bit unpleasant, no doubt.
Readers should lend their books only to other readers, right? We’re the only ones who understand those feelings

YES!!! Coffee is EVERYTHING & I know, right? it’s the best feeling when you look at your bookshelves and it feels just right and it’s beautiful in your own way 👏🏻
      I hope you’re having a wonderful month, love ❤️❤️

  9. Congratulations on your award! I don’t lend my books to people often, but when I do, I usually lend them to fellow readers and to people who I know for certain will take care of the book. I love sharing books and stories, but I’m a little too protective over my books LOL. I don’t often eat when reading, either! Coffee, tea, and water are my reading companions. I feel like it’s a bit of a hassle to read and eat for some reason haha. Wonderful answers!! ❤

    • Thank you SO much, Azia, you’re so sweet! Oh, I get that, it’s always safer and gives more pleasure to give your books to someone you know will take care of them and love them as much as you do, right?
It’s impossible for me to eat and read, and believe me, I’ve tried 😂, but I’m glad to see, here in the comments, that I’m not the only one & I LOVE coffee so it’s my reading partner 😍
I hope you have a wonderful end of the year ❤️

      • All I want is for books to be loved and handled lovingly LOL
Food is too hard to juggle when reading haha. Coffee or tea is the way to go 😉
Thanks so much! I hope you do as well ❤
