The Wonderstruck || Book Tag || ☀️

☀️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day and are enjoying your current readings. 🥰 Today I continue with my intention to catch up with my tag & awards, so this time I bring you a book tag that I’m really excited about because it’s about Taylor’s songs, and I LOVE her, so books + Taylor Swift: a lot of fun!. I’ve been tagged for “The Wonderstruck” by my wonderful Jenna || Bookmark Your Thoughts || in March of this year, so OMG, I’m a little late, right?. Jenna, you’re an angel, you know that I love you and it’s a pleasure for me to be nominated and tagged by you. If you don’t know her yet, I don’t know what you are waiting for, check it out her blog, it’s WONDERFUL and she’s a beautiful person.❤️❤️

This Book Tag is originally created by Olivia || Purely Olivia || so you should check her post out, I did it and she seems so lovely and I love the idea!. 😍  I’m really excited to begin, I hope you enjoy it and let me know everything in the comments below, you know I love talking with you. Now, let’s start immediately! ☀️

I, like Jenna, will be using Olivia’s graphics because I really fell in love with them, so I hope that’s fine, even though ALL the merit to Olivia for creating these beautiful and adorable graphics  😊

I’m going with The Grace Year by Kim Liggett because it was the last book I read that really broke my heart, it’s a heartbreaking book in many ways, but also unique and hopeful, I recommend you to read it, I still don’t overcome that ending 😭

[ Listen to: You’re Not Sorry ]

There are several books that for having loved so much or for the simple fact of having shocked me somehow ended up leaving their mark on me and I still think about them, one of them will always be my beloved The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw, book that I think would be a FANTASTIC adaptation, I don’t know if someone thought about doing it, but it’s such an atmospheric and easy to visualize story, that I think it would be a wonderful movie  😍

[ Listen to: Back to December ]

It’s funny that in fact, I said that the previous book would be a great movie lol, well I’ll choose another one because I also have many answers to this … one of them that I can’t wait to see on the big screen is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and I think that many of us who have read the book will agree with this. Seeing Evelyn on the big screen would be magical, I love her so much! 👏🏻

[ Listen to: If This Was a Movie ]

I have no doubt with this one, the cover of Wilder Girls by Rory Power is my favorite of this year, in fact, I’m currently reading this book and so far, I LOVE IT, we’ll see what I think of it once I finish it 😊

[ Listen to: Gorgeous ]

Although it has its fans, I’m one of them, I think it’s a book that many people hate or don’t like. At the time when I read We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, I remember that the vast majority had super negative opinions about, so I read it kind of scared thinking that I wouldn’t enjoy it and it ended up on my favorites list, I personally think it’s brilliant 💕

[ Listen to: Shake it Off ]

I think this is a fairly popular answer, but it’s a book that generates that nostalgia inside your chest, but in the best way. Unlike most people, I read the Harry Potter books being an adult, but I remember watching the movies when I was a little girl and playing I was going to this magical world, so in my heart, it represents many beautiful things from my childhood. (I realized that I spoke as if I were a 90-year-old woman but I’m barely 25, I swear 😂 )

[ Listen to: Never Grow Up ]

The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli just clicks with me, it’s all I love in fantasy, from dragons to incredible complex characters, slow-burn romance and an anti-hero MC. Such a wonderful journey. If you haven’t read this book and have it in your TBR, do it! you’ll not regret ❤️

[ Listen to: Sparks Fly ]

I don’t read classics, so sadly I don’t have an answer for this one, yet I should try to read some because I feel I could enjoy it. If you have any recommendations of where you should start, I would love to know! 🤗

[ Listen to: Style ]

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

Although I love some couples with all my heart, the romance of Heartstopper: Volume One by Alice Oseman has me in love, is so innocent and unique, I can’t wait to read more volumes of these beautiful characters 😍

[ Listen to: End Game ]

I’m absolutely obsessed, not only with this first book An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, but with all the books that have come out in this series so far, and I can’t wait to have more! The characters are brilliant and I’ve really gotten very involved with them and their personal stories, now I want my babies to be finally happy, also the plot is incredible, full of twists and moments that stop your heart and leave you on the edge of your seat. JUST OBSESSED (please, save me  😅 )

[ Listen to: I Knew You Were Trouble ]

The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchison is one of my favorite books of all time, it’s dark and disturbing, but it’s amazing and it’s very smartly created, but I don’t think that its sequel or companion book reach that mark, I don’t hate Roses of May but since it focuses more on other cases and moves in another direction, I completely lost interest in continuing with the following books. If you ask for my opinion, I would tell you that The Butterfly Garden works perfectly as a stand-alone 🤔

[ Listen to: Bad Blood ]

☀️ I’d rather leave my nominations open, and tell you that if you feel like doing this tag because you think it’s fun or because you also love Talor Swift, then consider yourself nominated by me, I wouldn’t want to nominate people who don’t like this kind of thing, you know? I don’t want anyone to feel obliged to do it, but I would love to know your answer and it’s super fun!☀️

I hope you liked it and as always! Let me know in the comments, if you have read any of these books or if you’re interested in doing so, I would know! ❤️

  2. LOVE YOU!! And oh my gosh … March!! I’m dying ha-ha!! I feel that though. I had some in the summer I did that I was tagged in … 6 months prior (whoops). You’re such a lovely human, darlin!

LMAO! I get told I sound like a grandmother all the time. But I agree, Harry Potter is an awesome choice. I read it during my pre-teen and teen years, so I love that you still have that love for it even though you read it later.

    Wonderful answers, love! ❤️

    • I know, right? Sometimes I feel like reading the rest to be sure that I’m not missing out on anything, but at the same time, I know that I’m better not reading them because I love The Butterfly Garden so much that I prefer to think of it as stand-alone. 🥰
I think it deserves more love, don’t you think? it’s such an underrated book

      • I read The Summer Children and it really wasn’t that great, I don’t even think I will be reading the fourth one that she’s just released. It really is underrated, I just wish it had stayed as a stand alone x

  4. I love Taylor Swift but I somehow still haven’t listened to her new album. I seriously need to get it soon so that I can do so. I also still need to read most of the books on here but they’re mostly all ones that I’m desperate to read so hopefully I’ll have read a fair few by the end of the year. I don’t really read classics either. I do want to try sometime but there are just always so many new releases coming out that appeal to me more 😅

    • I’m SO glad you like Taylor Swift too!! To be honest, her new album didn’t seem as incredible as the previous ones, I still like it, but not as much as I expected. Oh, I hope you love all these books, I can’t wait to know what you think! ❤️
I know, right? the same happens to me! I always want to pick up some classic, but I get distracted by the new releases 😅

      Liked by 1 person

      • Oh really? I may check it out on Spotify or Youtube first then. I loved the last two though (: Thank you ❤️
It’s so, so easy to do :L There are just too many wonderful sounding new releases out there.

  5. Ahh, thank you so very much for participating in my tag!!💓✨I absolutely loved reading all your answers. I have to agree with you, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo would be such an enthralling movie, okay, now I really want it to be real?? I need this, haha. And yes to Harry Potter always being the answer for every “nostalgic/childhood favorite” tag question ever.

Ooh, if you’re looking for a classic to start out with, my best recommendations would be Anne of Green Gables or Little Women! Those are two of my favorite and they aren’t too complex and I fall more in love with them every time.😊Lovely post, Sofii!

    • You’re welcome, honey! It was a pleasure, I LOVE Taylor so I felt like this tag was made for me 😍
It makes me SO happy that you liked my answers! OMG, I also need a Seven Husbands movie like yesterday, can you imagine Evelyn in flesh and blood? I’ll die 😄

Oh, you’re the best, thank you SO much for your recommendations!! I’m adding both immediately to my TBR, I’m dying to read and see how I feel about them 😊
I hope you’re having an incredible month ❤️
