Hi loves!, I hope you’re having a great start to the week, I know it’s hard to start after the weekend, so from here, I send THE BEST ENERGIES 🌻 to you!. Today I bring you the weekly meme “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?”, which I love since it allows us to keep up of our recent and future readings.

 🌻 Mini-Update 🌻

Guys, I wanted to chat a little with you before started. I’ve been a little distracted these days, I always like to take at least 1 hour a day to check some posts and comment, you know I love to support you, but lately, my head has been somewhere else, and I haven’t had time. And I’m here to tell you why!… I’m working VERY hard trying to give a new face to my blog, like a whole makeover thing. I don’t know anything about design so I’ve been watching many videos and trying to create something nice, into my possibilities. I respect graphic designers so much, I’ve honestly been trying Adobe Illustrator and I finally feel that I’m beginning to understand what I’m doing, and although I’m having fun, I feel that I haven’t had time for anything else, like this is absorbing everything from me. But it’s normal to me, I’m very intense when I get into a new job, or when I just get myself into something new, I want to give 100% of myself, so I hope to bring you a new book blog that you can love and which makes me proud. Above all, it’s really a bit of me, I want you to see the blog and think that it’s me, it’s important for me to feel identified with my new logos and headers and to really be able to transmit a bit of my personality in them. 😊
So, because of this, there are probably crazy changes in the blog during this week, if you go in and find everything out of place, don’t worry, I didn’t lose my mind lol, I’ll just be trying things until I find a place I feel more identified with and comfortable as well.
Thank you SO much for understanding, you know that I love you and your support means everything to me 💕

It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey.Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

🌿 What I’m Reading At Present 🌿

The Sentinel’s Alliance (Silent Sea Chronicles #3) by Suzanne Rogerson

45361873. sy475 Can new alliances save the islands of the Silent Sea from the murderers stalking their shores?

As the island of Kalaya and its people recover from civil war, a new threat surfaces. Invaders from the island of Elkena hunt the seas, butchering those who possess magic. Their scar-faced captain seeks the Fire Mage who it has been foretold will kill him and Tei and her people are in his warpath.

Tei and a band of Kalayans travel to Stone Haven, the home of their new allies, planning to restore magic to the dead island. But the Stone Haven Council have abhorred magic since their people were massacred by Elkenan invaders twenty years before. Commander Farrell must persuade his people to accept magic again, but his plans expose them to their biggest fear and he risks leading Tei and her people into danger, and jeopardising the safety of both their islands.

Under Farrell’s guidance treaties are forged, but is the newly formed Silent Sea Alliance enough to defeat the invaders and stop their bloodthirsty quest to destroy magic forever?

The Sentinel’s Alliance is the final book in the Silent Sea Chronicles trilogy.

I’ll not put my previous readings because they’re from last month so let’s start this month from scratch. I liked this book very much, at the beginning I didn’t remember much about the previous book, though, but every time I go further into it, I like it more and I remember things better, especially about the characters, I really enjoy following their stories and I think that the growth of both them and the writing style, is beautiful, I admire the authors who can grow so much from one book to another. I’ve very little left to finish it and I’m excited to figure out the grand finale!!! Right now, while I am writing this, is Sunday, so I plan to finish it today, so by the time you see it, I’ll surely have finished it * fingers crossed *

🌿 Up Next 🌿

💫 The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

💫 The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed

 💫 Autoboyography by Christina Lauren

💫 Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Well, so, I know that I’ll surely be reading The Shadowverse by John-Clement Gallo, because it’s a book that the author himself has sent me so I want to prioritize it, but I thought it would be fun to read another book at the same time as well, since they’re all very different genres.
For this, I’D LOVE and would be SO HELPFUL for me that you choose which book I’ll be reading with The Shadowverse!
Let me know in the comments, you can choose it because you liked it or simply because attracts your attention, no problem, no matter the reason, I just need help here because I’m dying to read them all, so anyone will be fine for me. 💞  I put this on Twitter as well and then I’ll see which are those 2 that will have more votes, if there’s only one winner, then perfect I’ll be reading that one, but if there’s a tie or two with many points then I’ll be choosing between those two.
Let’s have some fun, and tell me which book you would like me to read first! 😊

  1. Hi Sofii, thanks for updating I had been your silent reader for quite sometime.
I agree with the way you describe all about makeover the blog.
I feel the same too. But you have to know that your design is awesome. Mine is just disaster 😀

  3. Song of Achilles is a perfect book. It is also strangely summery.

As someone who just started a blog and is trying to balance getting a functioning/pretty layout with interaction I totally understand. Love your content!

    • Thank you SO much for recommending The Song of Achilles, Sarah!! I comment the same thing on Twitter and seems to be the majority favorite, so I’m very excited about it.😄

Oh, good luck with your blog! I’m following you 💕
Thank you, you’re so kind, that means a lot to me 😍.
I hope you have an INCREDIBLE day 😊

  4. I think it’s awesome that you are redoing your blog! As a new book blog, I am realizing that it’s a little harder to create the blog than I thought it would be. I can’t wait to be set up so I can start posting more

    • Thank you SO much!!. Oh, it’s really harder than I thought as well! But I think the key is the time, I’ve blogged for almost 3 years so I already felt it was time for a change, I don’t know much about editing things so it will be simple, but I hope it represents me more 😊
Good luck with your blog, honey! 💕

  5. It’s exciting to know that you are planning on giving your blog a new look. Even without knowing anything about coding, it is possible to create very unique-looking blogs with the free version of WordPress itself. The new block editor seems quite powerful and feature rich for creating both posts and pages.

One minor issue with the formatting/typography of your posts though: you tend to use centre-justify for every text type, which is not convenient for reading. Centre-justified format is okay with certain types of poems but otherwise not used for prose texts. Please stick to left-justify which is the standard practice for formatting prose texts.

  6. I think you should read Daisy Jones & The Six. I’ve seen this book everywhere and so many people rave about it! I just haven’t gotten round to getting a copy yet.

I’m currently re-reading “Golden Son” by Pierce Brown, a second book in his Red Rising series. It’s amazing! I absolutely love his world building and writing!

    • I know, right? SO many people loving that book, it’s crazy. I also loved Evelyn Hugo, so I have a good feeling about this one. Even if I don’t read it right now, I’ll undoubtedly be picking it up this month. 😍

I’m so glad you’re enjoying the Red Rising series, I tried to read it last year, but it’s not my type of book, maybe cause I tend to have problems with sci-fi, but I know that everyone loves it, so it makes me happy! 😊

I hope you have a wonderful month, honey! 💕

  7. I am so excited to see the new design you’ve been working on. I’m sure it will look amazing.
I can’t say I have read any of the books on your tbr list, but I’ve heard amazing things about The Song of Achillies and Daisy Jones and the Six. 😀
