❄️ Hi guys, I hope you’re having an amazing day. Today I bring you my TBR of what would be the rest of the month, where I’ll tell you everything I’ll be reading in the month of June. As you already know this first week I’ve been focused on my readings for Smutathon, so I didn’t want to post my full TBR before, but here I’m to tell you all about it.
What I have left of this month I really want to focus on my ARCs, and some books that have been sent to me by the author, so I’ll be only focusing 100% on them, they’re quite huge books, of 500 or more pages, so I’m kind of sure that I’ll not be reading more than that, but I’m still happy to get a little more up to date with my ARCs, so I can have a much relaxing July ❄️
I’m starting to use the snowflake in my posts, because now on June 21 the winter start where I live, so I’m ready to receive it!,❄️ the cold puts me in the mood to read in general, so I’ll be waiting for it a lot, besides It predicts a rainy month and I’m absolutely ready for it, it’s not nice to go outside but it’s certainly beautiful to be at home, in bed with a blanket on your feet and a coffee in your hands. I know that most of you are about to enter summer, so I want to wish you happy summer vacations,☀️ if you have them, of course, and a beautiful season in general ❤️
So, I have a couple of sequels, books sent by the authors and a new release this month, so without more further ado, let’s start!.
I’ll not specify each one, because I should repeat myself a lot, I’ll simply read them because, of course, I’m super interested and curious about all of them, and there are many elements of fantasy that make me happy. In case you want to know more about them, I always leave the blurb of each book and the link to Goodreads 😊
💫 Catching up with my Readings! 👏🏻
All of Us with Wings by Michelle Ruiz Keil
Michelle Ruiz Keil’s YA fantasy debut about love, found family, and healing is an ode to post-punk San Francisco through the eyes of a Mexican-American girl.
Seventeen-year-old Xochi is alone in San Francisco, running from her painful past: the mother who abandoned her, the man who betrayed her. Then one day, she meets Pallas, a precocious twelve-year-old who lives with her rockstar family in one of the city’s storybook Victorians. Xochi accepts a position as Pallas’s live-in governess and quickly finds her place in their household, which is relaxed and happy despite the band’s larger-than-life fame.
But on the night of the Vernal Equinox, as a concert afterparty rages in the house below, Xochi and Pallas accidentally summon a pair of ancient creatures devoted to avenging the wrongs of Xochi’s adolescence. She would do anything to preserve her new life, but with the creatures determined to exact vengeance on those who’ve hurt her, no one is safe—not the family she’s chosen, nor the one she left behind.

Well, I’ve already read “On the Come Up” and “Dark Wine at Dusk”. I’m ALMOST done “Red, White and Royal Blue”. Afterwards, I still would like to finish “Nocturnal” by Wilder Poetry, “With the Fire on High” by Elizabeth Acevedo, and possibly “Love & Gelato” by Jenna Evans Welch!

LOL!!! Well, my review for “Red, White and Royal Blue” SHOULD be up next week 😉 I’m hoping to finish Nocturnal before the end of June. I also just got an ARC that I’m excited for — “100 Days of Sunlight”. I FINALLY started applying for books on NetGalley again, since I caught up with my ARCs and realized I haven’t applied for any in probably a year. The girl who wrote the book is a blogger as well, so I’m very excited!

I have only 1 book on my Netgalley shelf, which is crazy, I swear I thought it would never happen 😅

The Gray Sister by Jo Treggiari.
It’s described as a gripping psychological thriller for fans of The Cheerleaders and Sadie, so I’m super excited * fingers crossed * 😍

All of these sound great! I’m reading White Belt, a novella by Faye McCray about a girl who is left at a rest stop by her boyfriend when zombies attack. It’s campy and fun. Before this I read Tentacles and Teeth by Ariele Sieling. It’s a YA fantasy about a young female warrior cast out from her tribe. She’s left alone to fight monsters and figure a way back in with her group. I enjoyed it, fast paced, good for YA readers. I don’t know what’s next, maybe Vox? Society only allows women a certain amount of words to speak each day. Sounds interesting. Oh! I read Daisy Jones and The Six also, getting a lot of hype now. It was an easy read about the ups and downs of a fictional band in the 70s.

So long since I don’t read a book about zombies! I hope you enjoy it! 😊
I’ll be checking out Tentacles and Teeth because you make it sound incredible and I also have to read Daisy Jones and The Six, it sounds fantastic and I also love the author’s previous book, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo 😍

Good luck with your TBR! I always set up a list for myself and I never end up reading those books. My monthly TBR is more of a loose suggestion than anything else lol

I get that!, even more when you’re a mood reader, but I think it works perfectly as well as a list of “possible” reads, right?
I hope you’re having an incredible month 😊

Enjoy your TBR this month! I am soooo envious that you’re entering winter. 🙂 We’re entering summer here but in the part of the US I’m in, “summer” weather began months ago and it is miserably hot now. I’m so ready for it to cool down but that won’t be until late October typically. Oh well! I’ll make the most of it and just live through you! 😂

Thanks, Destiny!! I hope you’re enjoying your readings this month 💕
OMG, that sounds terrible, I’m not a big fan of hot weather either, I’m all about my beloved autumn. I’m sending little cold waves towards you *Using X-Men powers*. We should chase winter through the world 😂
