💫 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day! Today I bring you another part of our series, the book meme “Down the TBR Hole”which I’m doing hoping that it will help me to reduce the number of books that are in my current TBR

My plan is to upload this meme every week where. (I’m glad that now you want to see more books in this post so I decided to do 10 books per post instead of 5, not only will it be MUCH more entertaining and fun, because we’ll have more books to talk about, but I’ll also be able to clean my TBR faster which is great!) so, I’ll show you 10 books of which I’ll choose which one I’ll keep or get rid of. I want to make this weekly meme as interactive as possible, so I’ll be consulting a lot with you, to decide what to do. There will be those books which I’ll be interested in (Keep), those which I’ll not be interested in anymore (GO) and those which I’ll not be sure about, and with those, I’ll need your help. So please, let me know all your thoughts in the comments and I’ll be able to take my decision and let you know in the next post. 💫

I’m very happy because I’ve seen that you have participated a lot in the previous post, leaving me your comments, so I’m super excited to continue with this weekly meme.
If you’re doing the same meme right now, let me know so I can check your post out and leave my thoughts there 💖

 💫 Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if youre feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.

 💫 Read the synopses of the books

 💫 Decide: keep it or should it go?

☕️ #1 – Without Merit by Colleen Hoover

|| Goodreads ||

It sounds pretty peculiar, but it’s Colleen Hoover, so obviously I’ll be reading it. I know there are more chances that I’ll LOVE this book than not.
This book is about a dysfunctional family that lives in a church, the main character named Merit collects trophy that she hasn’t earned and her family forces her to keep a ridiculous amount of secrets. One day she meets a boy and feels things for him, but then discovers that he’s not available. And when Merit discovers a great secret about her family she realizes that she has had enough, and she tries to escape in order to live her own life
I know that sounds strange and for me, it’s a very vague blurb, but I’m interested in knowing more, I’ve enjoyed ALL the books of the author in the past, so I would be surprised if I didn’t like this one. I know that Colleen is an author that many of you either love or hate so I understand that it’s controversial, but I’ll give it a chance 👍🏻

☕️ #2 – The Unseen World by Liz Moore

|| Goodreads ||

Oh, this sounds really fascinating to me, it sounds realistic and hard and I’ve also heard incredible things about it.
The book is basically about a girl who embarks herself on a mission to discover her father’s hidden past
When it just came out I remember that I saw it everywhere, and I was hearing things and reading very good reviews so although it has been a while since I’m still very curious to meet the characters and get into a story of secrets and revelations, I think it could be interesting and quite addictive to read 😊

☕️ #3 – The Girl in 6E (Deanna Madden #1) by A.R. Torre

|| Goodreads ||

First of all, I love a good thriller, and I feel that although I don’t usually read many, it’s always a genre I really enjoy. This particular book sounds too creepy, intriguing and weird so I’ll give it a chance because I feel it could be different, you know?
It’s about a woman who lives locked up because she feels a very strong desire to kill
I’ve been reading some reviews on Goodreads and it’s very funny because many people LOVE it while others have given it 1 star or DNF it. So maybe it’s one of those hit or miss situations. I would love to know what you think if you have read it! for the moment I’ll keep it, but I’ll keep an eye on your opinion 😨

☕️ #4 – You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour & David Levithan

|| Goodreads ||

It sounds so adorable really, I love Nina LaCour writing style and I’m curious to read something from David Levitan, so maybe I’ll save it for when I want to read something meaningful and beautiful, it’s a short book so that’s great as well. I’m not sure if it will be a romance or it’s more like an unexpected friendship but the blurb sounds really sweet, I’m willing to read it right now.
The book follows Mark and Kate, they have sat together for a whole year but have never spoken, until they meet again and spend a very crazy night together where they’ll get to know more from each other. 💕

 💫 KEEP 💫

☕️ #5 – Hunted by Meagan Spooner

|| Goodreads ||

Oh, I LOVE how this sounds, is today the day I’ll stay with everything? can be lol.
I think this really sounds good, I like the idea of it being a re-telling of the beauty and the beast, I know there’s a lot of re-tellings of this particular story but I’m very interested in the blurb, sounds fantastic.
It’s about Yeva, her father has been obsessively hunting a beast in the woods, but when they decide to move finally, Yeva feels relieved because she was worried about what might happen. But when her father loses his mind and then gets lost in the woods, she must go out to hunt the beast responsible for that and do what her father couldn’t, and kill it.
I really like the fact that it doesn’t sound like a romantic story, but rather as a plot of survival and resistance, I could really enjoy this book if it manages to surprise me with its originality. I’ve read mixed reviews, but I’m interested enough 💪🏻

☕️ #6 – The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers #1) by Becky Chambers

|| Goodreads ||

This book is one of the most loved by the community, I don’t stop seeing and hearing positive things about the series, so I can’t help but feel very curious despite being sci-fi. I’ve heard that it has a lot of diversity in its characters and that it’s a wonderful story, so I’m excited.
The book follows the crew of Wayfarer as they travel through the space living adventures and learning from one another. We follow more precisely Rosemary, who’s very insecure about belonging to this chaotic crew but when her life is in danger she must learn to trust these new strangers.
I hope to read it soon, I can say it’s a book that besides touching themes of space also talks about love and family, and if it also has diversity and space creatures, I have to read it 😄

 💫 KEEP 💫

☕️ #7 – Flawed (Flawed #1) by Cecelia Ahern

|| Goodreads ||

This book is about a dystopian world where the most important thing for society is to be and follow a “perfect life”, but when Celestine, a perfect daughter, student, and girlfriend, makes an instinctive decision, breaks a very important rule and the punishment could cost her everything
Sounds well, but I feel it’s not something I’m interested in right now. The idea is good, though. So I’ll have to say goodbye to this one, but I’d still like to know what you think if you’ve read it! 👋🏻

 💫 GO 💫

☕️ #8 – The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli

|| Goodreads ||

Well, probably many of you hated me for this, but I lost interest in this book completely, I’ve heard people that I trust on saying is problematic, so I respect if you have enjoyed it, I mean, that’s wonderful but I’ll not be reading it. I’ll leave THIS REVIEW for you to check out in case you want to know more about my concerns about the book 👋🏻

 💫 GO 💫

☕️ #9 – The Book of Ivy (The Book of Ivy #1) by Amy Engel

|| Goodreads ||

I love how it sounds, and I’ve heard INCREDIBLE things, but this time I’m not sure
After a brutal nuclear war, the United States was left decimated. A small group of survivors eventually banded together, but only after more conflict over which family would govern the new nation.
The main character must kill her husband and the new ruler of the nation, to return power to her family
What do you think about this one? Is it worth it? I HAVE A LOT OF DOUBTS !! Help me to decide, I would love to know all your thoughts

 💫 MAYBE?💫

☕️ #10 – An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson

|| Goodreads ||

So, THAT COVER!!, it’s a masterpiece, really
I’ve heard that this fantasy is a hit or miss too, but I’m interested, I think the concept is interesting and I also think it’s a standalone, I’m not 100% sure, but I think it is and it’s also very short so I’m very curious to find out which side I’ll be on, with those who love it or those who hate it, but we’ll see
If you have read it, let me know which side are you on? 😊

  1. I’m so happy you’re keeping Hunted!!! 💕
    I am a bit sad you’re sending off The Upside of Unrequited. It was my first Albertalli and I love it more than Simon. I really connected with Molly on a personal level. I’ve not heard anything bad about it, so that surprises me. In saying that, I’ve not read it since it first came out, and I certainly wasn’t reading it critically. I was basically just sobbing into my t-shirt, and I read it in one go.
