🍂 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, today I bring you my Wrap Up of the month of March, where I’ll tell you all about my reading of the month. Well, putting everything in retrospect, I feel it has been a good month, I don’t think I’ve given 100% of myself on my reading, I think I could have done better but ended up falling into an awful reading slump by the end of the month and I been like 5 days without touching a book, and although I would have loved to finish another one, I didn’t want to push myself to do it. I think I needed those days off, and I feel good about it. Reading Crooked Kingdom really left me exhausted, that book is incredible but it was physically exhausting, and I needed a vacation after finishing it 😂 .
It was an INCREDIBLE month in terms of blogging, I feel more and more all the support and I continue to know you and love you more, and all that beautiful energy makes me want to continue working harder and harder to make better posts to you. Be part of the bookish community makes me so happy, I really learn a lot here, and that fills me with gratitude 🤗
Well, as you’ll see down below, despite not having read the amount I expected to read, I loved everything I’ve read so I call that a great month, right?!.
I’ve re-read a trilogy this month and that’s why I haven’t had as many reviews on the blog as I usually have, but next month it will surely change, which is good, because I miss writing reviews when I don’t do it. Due to the lack of reviews, I think I’ve written many different posts that I’ve enjoyed writing so I thought I could share with you my favorites so you can check them out if you’re interested and you haven’t yet done.
I LOVE YOU, YOUR SUPPORT MEANS THE WORLD FOR ME! 💕
So, without more further ado, Let’s Start! 🍂

This book is so adorable, it’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of it. It’s about a boy, Elias, of the nineteenth-century who travels in time to the present with a pocket watch that his grandfather gave him, escaping from a life in which he doesn’t feel he belongs. There he meets Tyler and they start an absolutely adorable love story and a journey of discovery that will transform them both.
Don’t go for this book waiting for a complex plot, it’s very simple and light to read, and I think it’s the perfect reading for when you want to relax and read a bit of romance in a story of time travel, family and friendship. I enjoyed it.  Published: March 4th 2019

 🌘 A Fantastic Re-reading 🗡

I feel such an infinite love for this trilogy, I didn’t really see it until I read it again but now I know that I love them SO much. The power, magic, characters, plot, and universe EVERYTHING makes of these books a unique story that you can’t stop reading, the plot twists are great and the writing style grows a lot with each book which is great. The whole trilogy is fascinating and has scenes that you can’t easily forget. Alina is one of those characters whose growth and maturation are to admire, and that’s why I always love this character. I don’t want to talk much about them because I’ve been doing it a lot lately lol. But in case you want to know more, I’ll leave you a link to my post, where I tell you all about my experience re-reading this story

This book is really AMAZING, personally, it was very heavy for me at first but then it gets better and better until that ending when you can really see each character for what they really are. I think that, in general, in this book, we can see more starkly to each character and we’ll understand more the reason of their motivations, knowing their pasts and their biggest fears. The plot is really solid and strong, although many things happen all the time, so you’ll not have time to relax.

  1. I need to start reading the Grishaverse books!! Sounds like a good month to me! I also had a bit of a reading slump… Mainly because I was bogged down in non-fiction haha

  2. When Ruin and Rising come out I did a re-read and loved it. I NEED to read Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom as I bought King of Scars in January. I haven’t been around much on the blogosphere so I didn’t see your posts but I will look at them this week. I want to do different posts this month too, rather than just reviews. Have a great April. 🙂

  3. Sometimes, giving your brain a break and some breathing space is the best thing you can do in a reading slump! You’ve read a lot of pages this month and that’s pretty stinkin’ awesome. Thanks for being part of the bookish community! Happy April!!!

  4. Beautiful Wrap Up! I have Ruin and Rising next before getting to King of Scars, which I’m honestly putting off because it’s a whole year before the sequel.

I agree that Leigh Bardugo’s plotting and character backgrounds felt more tightened up in CK.
    Happy reading!

    • Thank you SO much!!
I think I’ll postpone my reading of King of Scars a bit too, I think I’ve had SO MUCH of this universe that I need a little break, and you’re right, it’s a long year till its sequel, the wait will be endless
I hope you have an incredible month! 💕
