 💫 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day! Today I bring you another part of our series, the book meme “Down the TBR Hole”which I’m doing hoping that it will help me to reduce the number of books that are in my current TBR.
My plan is to upload this meme every week where I’ll show you 5 books of which I’ll choose which one I’ll keep or get rid of. I want to make this weekly meme as interactive as possible, so I’ll be consulting a lot with you, to decide what to do. There will be those books which I’ll be interested in (Keep), those which I’ll not be interested in anymore (GO) and those which I’ll not be sure about, and with those, I’ll need your help. So please, let me know all your thoughts in the comments and I’ll be able to take my decision and let you know in the next post. 💫

I’m very happy because I’ve seen that you have participated a lot in the previous post, leaving me your comments, so I’m super excited to continue with this weekly meme.
If you’re doing the same meme right now, let me know so I can check your post out and leave my thoughts there 💖

 💫 Decide: keep it or should it go?

☕️ #1 – Rebel Belle (Rebel Belle #1) by Rachel Hawkins

|| Goodreads ||

I read Hex Hall many years ago, and I remember enjoying it a lot, they aren’t memorable readings but they’re very entertaining, I can’t deny that. Now, with Rebel Belle, I remember adding it when the hype was real, I think the third book was about to come out and I was like “What is this?” and then I thought it sounded cool so I added it to my Goodreads TBR and honestly, I didn’t even think about reading it once. I think this book could go in the pile of books that I’ve added for the cover, I know, shame on me, but yeah, I think it’s BEAUTIFUL, but I don’t feel like actually reading it.
The blurb sounds pretty good but at the same time, it sounds like the typical old YA reading and I guess there’s a love triangle involved. I’ve also heard that the third book is quite disappointing so I’m not really interested, so it’s time to say goodbye to this beauty

 💫 GO 💫

☕️ #2 – Maybe Someday (Maybe #1) by Colleen Hoover

|| Goodreads ||

Whenever I can, I mention how much I love Colleen Hoover and how her books have always accompanied me over the years so I don’t want to bore you again with all that, but it’s obvious that I want to read this one as well, especially since it’s one of her famous works and for some reason I haven’t read it yet, I really don’t know why, but it has to happen because her stories are incredible but they always destroy me so I must prepare myself
I think this book has a mini-series or something like that, so if I like it maybe I can watch that!

 💫 KEEP 💫

☕️ #3 – The Burning Sky (The Elemental Trilogy #1) by Sherry Thomas

|| Goodreads ||

I just read the blurb because, to be honest, I didn’t remember anything about this book lol. And it has his pros and cons, on the one hand, there’s an evil magician called Bane, and he reminds me of Magnus, so I give it a point for that, I also LOVE elemental magic so that really intrigues me a lot, but on the other hand, doesn’t have many good reviews and I can see that it’s the story about a “chosen one”, and God knows we have had A LOT of those stories. So I DON’T KNOW, I have my doubts, so I prefer to let you help me a little here.
If you have read something from the author, it could also help me to know what you think about her writing style, I know she’s known for her romances and she also has a mystery series that looks great, but I don’t know how she’ll do it with fantasy, so I need your help here

 💫 MAYBE?💫

☕️ #4 – Sweet Evil (Sweet #1) by Wendy Higgins

|| Goodreads ||

Fallen angels used to be my thing a couple of years ago, I was obsessed with that, it was also one of those topics which everyone wrote about, but I’m not sure that’s what I want right now.
I’ve used this moment to read several positive as negative reviews and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s not what I want right now, maybe the 2012 Sofi would have loved it, but it sounds like the typical, cliche romantic paranormal plot that I don’t want at all today.
Even so, if Wendy Higgins is an author you like and you want to recommend me some other book of hers, I would love that

 💫 GO 💫

☕️ #5 – A Thousand Pieces of You (Firebird #1) by Claudia Gray

|| Goodreads ||

I LOVE how this book sounds!, recently I almost reading it but I had other priorities, so you know, but I’m SUPER interested in it.
One of the things that catch me the most are the multi-universes and the parallel worlds, so I think I’ll love this one. Also, the plot sounds great so I’m super excited to read this soon
Plus: The cover is so wonderful, right?

  1. The only one I’ve read is A Thousand Pieces of You and I really liked it; it’s definitely worth the read. Glad you decided to keep it on the TBR!

  2. Hi Sofi,
    I also have had “Rebel Belle” on my Tbr for ages, but I can’t let it go. At the time that I added it to my list I was fascinated by the story and the gorgeous cover only accetuated my enthusiasm for the book. But now I don’t remember what it is about, so I’m in the same situation as you are. With the exception that I can’t convince myself that I’ll nerver read it.
    I also want to read “A Thousand Pieces of You”, but I don’t now when. I agree that it sounds really cool and I like parallel worlds too. In the same way I also like time travel, what do you think about it? Have you ever read “Passenger” by Alexandra Bracken?

  3. Ahh, the Firebird trilogy is on my TBR too. I’ve owned Claudia Gray books for years, but just never read them. Also, is the Rachel Hawkins of Hex Hall the same Rachel Hawkins who wrote Royals (which I think is now called Prince Charming)?? I always wanted to read Hex Hall, but I just never got around to it…

  4. I unhauled Rebel Belle recently, I just lost interest in reading it. It was one of those books that I saw everyone reading a few years ago and was like ooh I have to read this one too, it sat on my shelf for so long.
