Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME

🌻 WOW, since September of last year that don’t do one of these post!, how is that even possible?, time really flies by. As I love and I miss doing this kind of post, here I am with a new WWW Wednesday (originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm, and revived by Taking on a World of Words), where we’ll share the books that I’ve finished, my current and upcoming readings.🌻

BUT!!!, as I always love to interrupt in the middle of my post to talk about something else lol, today I want to do it for: say THANKS, you guys are really amazing, I CAN’T BELIEVE it. The blog has reached numbers that show how much you’re supporting me and that makes me the happiest and most grateful person in the world. Honestly I don’t know what I would do without you and without this beautiful place that has given me the opportunity to meet you. I really hope you all are having beautiful moments this year and if you feel discouraged you know that you can always send me an e-mail or talk to me via Twitter or wherever you want, I’m open to speak in the best English version that I can lol and support you ALWAYS. I LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU, from my proud hufflepuff heart 💛 🌟

So far, I’m a little more than half of it and I’m liking it !. In fact, I’m enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would, which is wonderful. I really like that the chapters are short, that makes it super easy to read, it’s also very addictive, the story is very confusing from the beginning (in a good way lol), so we’re tying threads as we go, to be honest, I feel you can’t be sure of nothing here, what you think you know for sure probably is a lie, so that’s quite intriguing. It has a unlikeable main character , I mean, I don’t think she’s a good person, you kniow?, but I still enjoy her point of view. In this kind of mystery stories where there are so many secrets, a character like here is a good thing. So we’ll see what happens and what my final thoughts are, so far it’s good.

What did you finish recently reading?

A Torch Against the Night (An Ember in the Ashes #2) by Sabaa Tahir

33359446Elias and Laia are running for their lives. After the events of the Fourth Trial, Martial soldiers hunt the two fugitives as they flee the city of Serra and undertake a perilous journey through the heart of the Empire.

Laia is determined to break into Kauf—the Empire’s most secure and dangerous prison—to save her brother, who is the key to the Scholars’ survival. And Elias is determined to help Laia succeed, even if it means giving up his last chance at freedom.

But dark forces, human and otherworldly, work against Laia and Elias. The pair must fight every step of the way to outsmart their enemies: the bloodthirsty Emperor Marcus, the merciless Commandant, the sadistic Warden of Kauf, and, most heartbreaking of all, Helene—Elias’s former friend and the Empire’s newest Blood Shrike.

Bound to Marcus’s will, Helene faces a torturous mission of her own—one that might destroy her: find the traitor Elias Veturius and the Scholar slave who helped him escape…and kill them both.

I really love this book a lot, I think the construction and the growths of the characters are amazing, I love them so much, and they’ve made me suffer and cry but they’ve also made me happy and that’s why I’m very excited to read the next book, I’ve planned so many readings for the next month so I don’t know if I’ll read this one, but I’ll do it very soon because I can’t wait. The world is really good as well, is based on the ancient Rome so if it’s something that you find interesting you should give it a try!, I recommend it A LOT. Elias & Laia are my EVERYTHING right now

What do you think you’ll read next?

Six of Crows (Six of Crows #1) by Leigh Bardugo

23437156Ketterdam: a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price–and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first.

This will be my re-reading of the month and I’m super excited, because despite having read this book a while ago, I never read Crooked Kingdom and OMG, I know, how could I? LOL. But as I finally want to do it next month, I need to re-read this one to have the whole story super fresh in my mind

  1. I really need to start doing posts like this. I’m glad to hear Torch Against the Night has a lot of growth involved with it, especially character-wise. I wasn’t wild about Ember in the Ashes when I first read it, but I still wanted to give the next book a shot because there was a lot of potential there. Glad to hear it delivers! Also, omg, I cannot wait for you to read Crooked Kingdom!
