☕️ I’ve been looking for something new and fun to bring to the blog and I’ve seen this challenge everywhere so it really catches my attention, and I’m more than happy and excited to start with this “ABC book challenge”.
I’ll be uploading a post every week sharing with you my most memorable titles and the books that are still on my TBR, corresponding to each letter of the alphabet, this time with the letter “E“.
I don’t know who is the original creator of this challenge, so if you know, please let me know in the comments. Personally I’ve seen this challenge/tag in the blogs of Tiana (The Book Raven) and Jacquie (Rattle the Stars), both are adorable people and their blogs are amazing so, please, check them, you’ll not regret it
I really hope you enjoy this post series a lot, it’s long so I hope to do my best and my goal with it is that we can all share our thoughts about the books that I’ll show you and as always, have a lot of fun.
Without more further ado, let’s start! ☕️
Memorable Titles That Start With “E”
I hope this is not cheating, but I’ll be including those books that start with “The”, having as reference the first letter of the next word
☕️ Eve (Eve #1) by Anna Carey : I love this trilogy, it’s one of my favorites actually. I think it could be an unpopular opinion, because I don’t know many people who liked it, but well, honestly I adore it. The story takes place in a dystopian world where all the girls are promised a great future in New America, but Eve, our main character, only one day before her graduation, discovers the truth about what fate has in store for her and decides to take a very risky decision.
What I love most about these books in general is that they’re very easy to read and I think the idea is very entertaining, it keeps you wanting to know all the time and may not be that EPIC, but I still think that if you like dystopian worlds this is one that you can’t miss. Also I think it improves a lot with each book.
☕️ The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden #2) by Julie Kagawa : OMG this trilogy is FIRE!, you really need to read this trilogy if you haven’t done it yet, first Julie Kagawa has one of the best writing styles ever, her stories are always the most original ones and second, if you want to read a trilogy about vampires, but REALLY about vampires, you can’t miss this one.
I’ve suffered so much with these books, I love the characters and the plot, you never stop surprising yourself and also it has a lot of action, it’s very dark and has a lot of diversity. It’s really INCREDIBLE
I remember that I read the first book when I was in a reading slump and got me completely out of it, and that’s why I always recommend it, I assure you that you’ll love it! (MY REVIEW)
☕️ El encanto del cuervo by Maria Martinez : I’m going to be super brief with this one because it’s in Spanish and I know a lot of you don’t handle the language so I don’t want to overwhelm you with a lot of information, but I couldn’t stop naming it. It’s a great book!
I love when I’m find a book like this one, a fantasy stand-alone, so well done. In a really decent number of pages is able to tell a very complex story that has been going on for many years and ends with the descendants who are the main characters and is told in a super poetic and very atmospheric way, which I always enjoy. It’s a pleasure to have read this book so if you have the possibility to read it or if you know someone who could enjoy it, that will be great
☕️ Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon : This book is adorable, I must say that I went into it with zero expectations, I thought I wouldn’t like it, but it manage to surprise me. I remember that I had so many feelings inside of me once I finished it, not only is an adorable and super light read, but it also touches very important topics and the background of the story is very shocking as well. I think that to be such a short book, is very well done and it keeps you interested until the end, besides I personally think that it has one of the best endings for a book within the genre of romance, it was perfect for me
This is one of those stories that despite being light will leave you thinking (MY REVIEW)
☕️ Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker : You know I love mystery/thrillers, and this is one of the best I’ve come across with this year. This book undoubtedly deserves a greater recognition than it has, since I think it’s brilliant, the story is very dark and shocking, it touches on a subject so little touched in books as is Narcissism and how this affects family dynamics.
It has one of those topics that I usually enjoy which’s the relationship between sisters and all the plot revolves around the disappearance of both girls until only one of them is returning.
Of course I can’t tell you much more about, because spoilers, but I think that’s all you need to know, the plot twists are spectacular and I assure you a very high dose of OMG, SHOCKS and alot of feels everywhere. (MY REVIEW)
Books Starting With “E” On My TBR
I will not talk about them individually because we would be here years, but I’m super excited to read them all and I would love to know if you have read any of them, I want to know all your thoughts about it 💕
