It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila fromBook Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at theBook Date. And here we are!
Hi loves!, I hope you’re having a great start to the week, I know it is hard to start after the weekend, so from here, I send THE BEST ENERGIES 🌻 for you all !. Today I bring you the weekly meme “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?”, which I love since it allows us to keep abreast of our recent and future readings, so without further ado let’s start!!
🌸 I want to make a small parenthesis before starting. I’m not a very active person in social networks, honestly I’ve always considered that I born in the wrong era or something like that lol. But lately I’ve been more active on Twitter, I’ve started using it more especially for everything that has to do with the blog. So I would like that if you still don’t follow me on that platform, you do it or let me know your own Twitter in the comments, so I can follow you as well, and in this way we can be in touch even more and I’ll be able to tell you about things that I’ll do for the blog or maybe if some day I can’t upload a post or anything that happens I can let you know with a tweet. So, yes, I am trying to be more active and I would love to share that with you🌸
What I Read Last Week
Frozen Tides (Falling Kingdoms #4) by Morgan Rhodes
Rebels, royals, and monsters wage war over the Mytican throne in the shocking fourth book of the Falling Kingdoms series, from New York Times bestselling author Morgan Rhodes.
CLEO: Reeling after a bloody showdown in Limeros ending with Amara’s abduction of the water crystal, and a vacancy in the Mytican throne, Princess Cleo must cast aside her feelings and look toward her kingdom with the eyes of a Queen.
MAGNUS: With the kingdom in chaos, Princess Lucia still missing and quite possibly in danger, and a shocking realization about Cleo, the steely prince is once again torn between love and duty, leaving him wondering whether he’s strong enough to rule his people.
LUCIA: The young sorcercess has had her vengeance after the cruel death of her first and only love. Heartbroken and unable to trust anyone, she allies with the awoken Fire god, who also seeks revenge.
JONAS: After escaping death by the skin of his teeth, the defeated rebel—along with a mysterious stranger–leader reunites with Princess Cleo, only to find himself a mere pawn in a dangerous hunt for the elusive Kindred.
KING GAIUS: Abandoned by Melenia and betrayed by his own children, Gaius flees Mytica and sails to Kraeshia, where he attempts to ally with the famously brutal emperor across the Silver Sea.
All of you must be tired of me talking about this series over and over again, but I’m just loving it and this book is not the exeption. So many things are happening, the characters have gone through a lot of thing that has made them grow so much and I feel that especially here in Frozen Tides is so notorious the way the characters have grown up and everyone is more sure about their own goals. Really a great journey that I recommend a lot to start if you have’t done it yet.
I’ll leave you my FULL REVIEW of this book, spoiler free, if you want to know more about my thoughts about it 💕
What I’m Reading At Present
I’m currently in the middle of two readings, in fact I’m about to end The Sentinel’s Reign by Suzanne Rogerson and I’ve enjoyed it so far, it’s a fast-paced fantasy. I think it has a great world construction that’s still as good as in the first book, the characters are pretty good too, and as I know there will be a third book I’m pretty excited to see how this one will end 😄 🗡️.
On the other hand, I’ve also started with Summer of Salt by Katrina Leno, I’m almost 100 pages in it and I can tell you that I’ll love this book. As I expected, it has a lot of similarities with The Wicked Deep, but the main character is lesbian, which I LOVE, I think I haven’t read enough lesbian rep in YA so is an amazing thing. The plot is centered on a small beautiful island, there’s a lot of magic and romance hapenning and I’m living for it 😍 ✨
🌺I’ll probably be putting together both books and I’ll make a double book review post for Friday!, tell me if this is something that bothers you in any way or if you prefer to see separate reviews in diferents days, I would love to know.
My idea of doing them together is just because is more easy for me since I don’t have a lot of time but even so I would love to know your opinions about it🌺

Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson
Mila Flores and her best friend Riley have always been inseparable. There’s not much excitement in their small town of Cross Creek, so Mila and Riley make their own fun, devoting most of their time to Riley’s favorite activity: amateur witchcraft.
So when Riley and two Fairmont Academy mean girls die under suspicious circumstances, Mila refuses to believe everyone’s explanation that her BFF was involved in a suicide pact. Instead, armed with a tube of lip gloss and an ancient grimoire, Mila does the unthinkable to uncover the truth: she brings the girls back to life.
Unfortunately, Riley, June, and Dayton have no recollection of their murders, but they do have unfinished business to attend to. Now, with only seven days until the spell wears off and the girls return to their graves, Mila must wrangle the distracted group of undead teens and work fast to discover their murderer…before the killer strikes again.
I really hope to be able read this one before the ends of the month, I think I will, it sounds like a quick and fun reading, it has magic, so I know it will be my cup of tea 🍵
I’m hoping to use downtime next month to catch up on the Fallen Kingdoms series! Looking forward to your thoughts on Undead Girl Gang! I’ve been unsure on that one though I’ve heard mostly positive things 🙂

I’m trying to get better with social media as well…all my posts automatically go onto Twitter so I never go on it besides that…and I found out people were messaging me and I felt so bad…I can only handle so much social media! I’ve been considering putting a notice stating to contact me via my blog or insta so I don’t have to bother with it haha!!

I just finished The Troop by Nick Cutter. It’s a horror story, and I don’t often read those, so it was a good change of pace
