Hi Guys !, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, today I’ll share with you my February Wrap Up, where I tell you about the books that I’ve read during the month. I could have had a better month in terms of readings, but I’m not complaining I think it’s been fine. I feel that I’ve go through a litlle reading slump for half of the month and although I have had time to read, I was in this state when I was really enjoying the ones I was reading but I didn’t feel like pick it up the book, you know?, it’s just very frustrating, I suppose we have all been through this at some time but it is still annoying. I want to tell you that I’ve been feeling better and I’m really excited for my March TBR so I feel motivated to return with my usual reading.
On the other hand it was my birthday on February 22 and I want to thank you again for all your birthday messages, I’ve spent a beautiful day with my family, my boyfriend and my best friend, I really couldn’t ask for more than having them with me, I’ve also had you, sending me your best wishes and that feels great
Ok, let’s move on to the books I’ve read this month, I’ve been super focused on my re-reading as you know, it probably would have been nice if I didn’t have the reading slump right in the middle, but this hasn’t prevented my enjoyment, I love this series and I’ll tell you more below about. Then I’ve been able to finish an ARC which is always good, but also I’ve DNF one, but I’m not sad about it since it’s an anthology, I think I can pick it up again later. So I’ve read 4 books, a short novel and 1 DNF so without further ado we’re going to start!
Re-reading
I’ve re-read one of my favorite trilogies and I can say that it has been a pleasure, it has only made me love them more and now more than ever I need Restore Me in my hands!.
Underneath I’ll leave you a little summary of my thoughts, which I wrote as I finished each book and of course, in case you want to read my original reviews, I leave you the link HERE PS: I haven’t read Fracture Me, to be honest, I’m not so interested in Adam as to read it again, but I still remember things from it so I felt that it wasn’t necessary
Shatter Me (Shatter Me #1) by Tahereh Mafi (4/5 Stars)
Re-Read (11/02/2018)
I enjoyed it as much as I thought I would. I missed the characters a lot so I spent a great time accompanying them in this adventure, I know that it is not the best book in the world and I know that alot of people can’t stand it, but personally, even though I’m aware of certain problems in it, I can’t stop loving it. Shatter Me is one of those books that have made me love reading even more and will always be in my heart. I can’t wait to continue with my re-reading in preparation for Restore Me, which I hope doesn’t breake my heart lol.
Read about Kenji and Warner again, it makes me so happy!
Destroy Me (Shatter Me #1.5) by Tahereh Mafi (5/5 Stars)
Re-Read : (13/02/2018)
I love Warner so much !, I’ve possibly already mentioned in my old review down here, but I’ll say it again. This book is so necessary if you’re reading the Shatter Me trilogy, I think that will give you a new perspective of Warner and his personal story, you can’t miss this one, of course it’s a 5/5 Stars for me, always
Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi (4.5/5 Stars)
Re-read: 25/02/2018
WOW, I didn’t remember so many things that happen in this book, even that big revelation! What is wrong with me? LOL. It’s definitely a wonderful book, it has so many things happening, I love how everyone prepares for war and I definitely love the moments of Warner and Juliette in this book, they are gold. Plus: That ending! OMG, it has killed me all over again!
Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi (5/5 Stars)
Re-read (01/03/2018):
This book is everything, I LOVE it so much !. No doubt, as I said before, I think it’s the best book of the series, is the most solid and is where most of the important things happen. I loved the Julliette & Warner scenes , I can’t help it, they’re my babies and I’m so proud of them and of theirs growth as characters, but above all I’m so happy to have read about Kenji again, he’s one of the best characters I’ve ever read, it’s so fun and such a great friend. I can’t wait for the release of Restore Me, I could cry just thinking I’ll read about my babies again and I hope it doesn’t ruin everything, that kind of fear is always inside me, but I have faith that it will be epic, after all, Tahereh is an incredible writer and she improved alot in her career since this trilogy, which I think will be reflected in the next book and I’m super excited about it
Again I would give it 100 stars if I could lol, but since I can’t, I give it the same beautiful 5 stars that I’ve given before
DNF Anthology
I really wanted to read something sweet and romantic in February, so I decided to go for this book because it has a great compilation of authors and the promise is super sweet and cheesy, and I love that, unfortunately I couldn’t finish it, I feel that most of the stories feel incomplete and in others, I didn’t liked the characters, this doesn’t mean that I haven’t enjoyed anything, in fact I’ve read 2 stories that I loved. I just don’t really want to continue reading it but ,I want to try again to finish it at some point and read the rest of the stories, which really aren’t many so it’s a possibility
Meet Cute: Some People Are Destined to Meet by Jennifer L. Armentrout (DNF) REVIEW HERE
ARC of the Month
The cover is unquestionably beautiful, I’ve said it a thousand times, but I really think so. Sadly I haven’t enjoyed its content as much as its cover, it’s a book with great promise, but I think it has fallen short, I had great expectations for it but in the end I feel that there are many things that are lacking in it.
We have a whimsical main character, she’s strong and determined but she’s also stubborn and has many careless and selfish attitudes which makes me not feel completely connected with her. On the other hand, the story takes place in Seraphina’s world, so I think that if you haven’t read this before you can feel something out of place like me. I can say as positive, that I love the writing style of the author, it’s really pretty. To finish I would say that this book leans more for the MG genre than for YA
Tess of the Road by Rachel Hartman (2.5/5 Stars) REVIEW HERE

I really want to start Tess of the Road but as I am in the mood for something fast-paced, I’m not really sure. Is it fast paced? I can’t wait for Restore Me too!

Personally I liked the writing style and I think it is not difficult to read, but I’ve also read other reviews where there are those who say that it really hard to go through it, so I can only tell you from my experience. I’m not a fan of the plot but the writing style is really beautiful 😊😊
