It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!
Hi loves !, I hope you’re having a great start to the week, I know it is hard to start after the weekend, so from here, I send THE BEST ENERGIES for you all !. Today I bring you the weekly meme “It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?”, which I love since it allows us to keep abreast of our recent and future readings, so without further ado let’s start !!
WHAT I READ LAST WEEK
The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi
I get into this book with high expectations which wasn’t a good thing, since it ended up being something completely different than what I expected. I really enjoyed the beautiful and poetic writing style and the Indian mythology, I think knowing more about those myths and legends was something that I really enjoyed. Even so, sadly I couldn’t connect with the characters, and the plot, although it has a lot of potential, was somewhat confusing. The magic aspects of the book sounded so interesting but I personally think that they weren’t touched in depth and I ended up not understanding them. If you want to know more about my thoughts about it, I’ll leave you my FULL REVIEW here
WHAT I AM READING AT PRESENT
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
I’m about 100 pages into it, and I’m already loving it, the characters are absolutely adorable and real, I love that from Adam’s books, his characters never disappoint, so I’m really excited, I know it will be an emotional read but I think I’m ready
The Name of the Wind is great! I went to a Patrick Rothfuss talk this past weekend–he was fantastic. The Name of the Wind is a very cozy read… good for this time of year!

I’m going with Marie Lu’s book on this one!
Haven’t read it myself yet, but I’ve read Warcross and completely fell in love with her writing so I’m hoping her previous work will be equally as good, haha. 😀

I’ve never heard of any of those titles, but if I were picking one, I think I’d go with “The Bone Season.” The cover art for that one is… interesting. I’m curious to hear what it’s about.
This week I’m reading “Lord of the Flies.” I’m reading it rather slowly, since there’s a lot of family around to interact with. I love that book, though. It’s one of my all-time favorites.
