1000 Thanks & NetGalley Approved

Guys hope you’re having a beautiful day, for me today is fantastic because I’ve found myself with this a couple of days ago, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to post until today. This is so incredible!

Capture+_2017-08-15-09-57-34

It’s so hard for me to start with this post today, I’ve thought a thousand ways to begin to thank you for this incredible goal that together we have achieved, but I don’t know if I’ll find the appropriate way to express all my love and all that this means for me, anyway I’ll try lol.
When I started with the blog I was so scared guys !, I’m from Argentina so although I love speaking and writing in English, it’s not my mother lenguage so I knew it would be a challenge to start a blog in this language, but I’ve learned so much thanks to you and probably you don’t even know it but you all has helped me improve my English a lot and that has been just one of good things that came with this new project when it starts almost a year ago now.
The main reason why I decided to create A Book. A Thought is to share my love for reading and my thoughts about the books I was reading and it’s what I think I have achieved with it, but at the same time it’s much more than that, I’ve met fantastic and very kind people, that with their incredible work in their respective blogs have inspired me to continue and want to improve every day with mine.
All this makes me EXTREMELY HAPPY and despite the fact that in the beginning I felt a lot of enthusiasm for having followers, today I can assure you that although I appreciate the love and 1000 followers is really something AMAZING, this is something I would continue doing it regardless of the amount of people that follow me, because I’ve fallen in love with this world, I feel passionate about writing and my level of reading has improved a lot, there are so many things I’ve learned and I’ve also made mistakes but I have learned from them too, everything has been fantastic and I hope it’s still that way for a long time
I don’t want to make this super long, so in summary I want to thanks with my heart to every person who has felt the desire to follow this blog, read my reviews, put a comment or give a like to each post. I’ve put and I’ll continue putting a lot of work and effort in this to overcome me every day and for you all of course, is so important for me guys, simply THANK YOU

Copia de SPRINGTIME (4)

In addition to the gratitude that I’ll never tire of giving to you all, today I bring you a very exciting titles which have been provided to me via NetGalley during the last week, so without further ado let’s start!

Things I’m Seeing Without You by Peter Bognanni

 (October 3rd 2017)

33795874Seventeen-year-old Tess Fowler has just dropped out of high school. She can barely function after learning of Jonah’s death. Jonah, the boy she’d traded banter with over texts and heartfelt e-mails.

Jonah, the first boy she’d told she loved and the first boy to say it back.

Jonah, the boy whose suicide she never saw coming.

Tess continues to write to Jonah, as a way of processing her grief and confusion. But for now she finds solace in perhaps the unlikeliest of ways: by helping her father with his new alternative funeral business, where his biggest client is . . . a prized racehorse?

As Tess’s involvement in her father’s business grows, both find comfort in the clients they serve and in each other. But love, loss, and life are so much more complicated than Tess ever thought. Especially after she receives a message that turns her life upside down.

Goodreads

I’m interested in this title because I think it could be a great contemporary emotional reading, and I feel like reading something like that, it also touches on topics like suicide and how to deal with loss, so I think it might be interesting, the promise is good

Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel

(September 5th 2017)

33509076A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.

Angie Dovage can tell there’s more to Reece Fernandez than just the tall, brooding athlete who has her classmates swooning, but she can’t imagine his presence signals a tragedy that will devastate her small town. When something supernatural tries to attack her, Angie is thrown into a battle between good and evil she never saw coming. Right in the center of it is Reece—and he’s not human.

What’s more, she knows something most don’t. That the secrets her town holds could kill them all. But that’s only half as dangerous as falling in love with a harbinger of death.

Goodreads

This sounds like the perfect paranormal reading, I’m really excited about this I feel it will be good, plus: “A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.” , Sounds so mysterious, I need to read it soon

A Map for Wrecked Girls by Jessica Taylor

(August 15th 2017)

29359948We sat at the edge of the ocean—my sister Henri and I—inches apart but not touching at all. We’d been so sure someone would find us by now.

Emma had always orbited Henri, her fierce, magnetic queen bee of an older sister, and the two had always been best friends. Until something happened that wrecked them.

I’d trusted Henri more than I’d trusted myself. Wherever she told me to go, I’d follow.

Then the unthinkable occurs—a watery nightmare off the dazzling coast. The girls wash up on shore, stranded. Their only companion is Alex, a troubled boy agonizing over his own secrets. Trapped in this gorgeous hell, Emma and Alex fall together as Emma and Henri fall catastrophically apart.

For the first time, I was afraid we’d die on this shore.

To find their way home, the sisters must find their way back to each other. But there’s no map for this—or anything. Can they survive the unearthing of the past and the upheaval of the present?

Goodreads

OMG I’m so excited about this one, so far I’ve heard only good things about it, it was also a surprise to be provided with a copy but I’m so glad that it has happened, I’m super interested about it. On the other hand NetGalley has approved me with this copy the same day of its release, so what it was impossible for me to read it before that, which is something weird that the page has been doing a lot and I don’t know if I like that, still I’m excited to read it and I hope to do it this month!

Uncanny by Sarah Fine

(October 3rd 2017)

34663065Two sisters. One death. No memories.

Cora should remember every detail about the night her stepsister, Hannah, fell down a flight of stairs to her death, especially since her Cerepin—a sophisticated brain-computer interface—may have recorded each horrifying moment. But when she awakens after that night, her memories gone, Cora is left with only questions—and dread of what the answers might mean.

When a downward spiral of self-destruction forces Cora to work with an AI counselor, she finds an unexpected ally, even as others around her grow increasingly convinced that Hannah’s death was no accident. As Cora’s dark past swirls chaotically with the versions of Hannah’s life and death that her family and friends want to believe, Cora discovers the disturbing depths of what some people may do—including herself.

With her very sanity in question, Cora is forced to face her greatest fear. She will live or die by what she discovers.

Goodreads

This sounds too good! , A girl who loses her memory and has to discover a secret that could kill her, that sounds great, I’m very excited to read it, as I said with all before lol. But this type of topic is something that I usually enjoy so I’ve great expectations and maybe I’ll be able to meet a new author that I could like
