Hi everyone guys! I hope you’re very well🙂. Today I bring you a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish called Top Ten Tuesday . This week is “Best Books You’ve Read In 2017 So Far” and I love it! I think it will be a great opportunity to share our favorite books. I consider myself a lucky girl this year, because I’ve read so many incredible books !, it will be hard to choose only 10 but I’ll try. The following books aren’t just this year’s releases, but they’re books that I’ve read this year and the order is totally random, so without further ado we’re going to start!

The One Memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr

31752165

This has been a very pleasant surprise for me, I enter into it having heard almost nothing about, so I hadn’t any kind of expectation about it, and once I start reading I couldn’t stop, the story is so original and It’s possible that had the most peculiar main character that I’ve read about this year, if you decide to read it prepare yourself for a emotions roller coaster, because that’s what you’ll have

The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians #1) by Rick Riordan

I think everyone can imagine why I decided to put this book on the list, I wanted to read the Percy Jackson’s books for so long and I had always left them aside, until this year that I’ve finally go for it, and I found a amazing story of adventure , mythology and friendship, I put this on here, but I speak in general of all the books in the series that I’ve read so far, I’ve enjoy them so much and they’re so easy to read, I should continue with this series soon!

Geekerella by Ashley Poston

Oh this book is so adorable, so sweet, I love it, it’s one of those books that I would love to re-read at some point to feel all those feelings again. Cinderella is probably one of my favorite fairy tales so I guess that has influenced a bit, but on the other hand the idea of putting together a classic fairy tale with all that Geek stuffs and all those references of tv shows and all the fandom was amazing. I highly recommend it if you want something light and fun.

Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone #1) by Laini Taylor

I’m actually talking about the whole trilogy, so I hope isn’t cheating with the top ten thing lol. I love this trilogy is on of my favorite, it’s magical and incredible, also the story is divided between Prague and A world full of angels and demons and is the most incredible thing ever!, has a lot of action, romance, friendship, betrayal, so many good things. Basically I love this trilogy and if you haven’t read it yet you have to do it!

We Are Okay by Nina LaCour

In fact this is the last book I’ve read and a new favorite !. This book is short but so full of content at the same time, it has been beautiful for me I really love it, and I can’t recommend it more. Touches such important topics as loss, family, love, self-discovery, depression, I think it’s amazing and I’m sure you’ll love it, I still feel a lot of things when I talk about it, it will stays with me for a long time I can say that

I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson

OMG this book, I can’t even talk about it properly without putting all the feels, so I’ll make it brief. This is another book I’ve added to my favorites this year and I can’t be happier to have discovered it, in fact I’m dying to read more of the author because it was that good. This book touches topics like brotherhood and how important is and how it impacts on our lives, secrets, romances, lost, revelations, family, friendship, self-improvement, and a thousand other things, also features LGBT+ characters,( in the previous book too, I forget to mention it) so it’s a beautiful book with a shocking and exciting story so I highly recommend it

The Summer I Turned Pretty (Summer #1) by Jenny Han

7956260

If what you’re looking for is an addictive read then a book by Jenny Han is what you need, these books are so good, I know there are people who say it is so cheesy, and it’s probably true, but they have been an incredible read for the summer, I adore the three books and were too addictive, I’ve marathon the whole trilogy because I just couldn’t stop reading and I needed more of the characters and about the story at that time. Jenny Han is one of those writers who I’ll read over and over again because her writing style is so easy and fun to read, I can’t wait to read more by her.
Here where I live is winter now but I know that most of you are in summer, so if you haven’t yet read this trilogy then it’s the perfect time to do it, you can read this so quickly that you’ll love it, put a little romance to your summer !.

I love his writing style so I’ll probably read his books forever. This book is the representation of friendship and family so if you’re looking for that you’ll love it

  4. This is a great list. I have Daughter of Smoke and Bone on my list of books to read, though it will be a reread for me; I didn’t like it that much the first time around, but I’ve heard so many great things about it that it made me think maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood when I read it a few years ago. And Geekerella made my favorites list as well. It was such a great and cute fandom book. I will be posting my Top Ten Reads of 2017 (so far) on my blog on Monday.

I love Cinderella retellings and so that one hit the spot 😀 I’m dying to read I’ll Give You the Sun. It’s been recommended to me so often that it must be as good as everyone says! Lovely post! 😀

  6. I’m so happy to see Percy Jackson here, and to know you enjoyed it, it’s one of my favourite series too ❤ I don't know which books I'd put in my TOP 10, or even if I'd have 10 books to use, I can only remember the low ratings I've been giving lately haha
