Hi everyone, guys! , I hope you all are having an amazing time , today I bring you a weekly meme called WWW Wednesday originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm, and revived by Taking on a World of Words.
This meme tries to answer the following three questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you finish recently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
Let’s do it!
What are you currently reading?
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
Whatever you’ve heard about Caraval, it doesn’t compare to the reality. It’s more than just a game or a performance. It’s the closest you’ll ever find to magic in this world . . .
Welcome, welcome to Caraval―Stephanie Garber’s sweeping tale of two sisters who escape their ruthless father when they enter the dangerous intrigue of a legendary game.
Scarlett has never left the tiny island where she and her beloved sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Now Scarlett’s father has arranged a marriage for her, and Scarlett thinks her dreams of seeing Caraval, the far-away, once-a-year performance where the audience participates in the show, are over.
But this year, Scarlett’s long-dreamt of invitation finally arrives. With the help of a mysterious sailor, Tella whisks Scarlett away to the show. Only, as soon as they arrive, Tella is kidnapped by Caraval’s mastermind organizer, Legend. It turns out that this season’s Caraval revolves around Tella, and whoever finds her first is the winner.
Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. But she nevertheless becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic with the other players in the game. And whether Caraval is real or not, she must find Tella before the five nights of the game are over, a dangerous domino effect of consequences is set off, and her sister disappears forever.
Well, this is a super hype book right now, I know a lot of people have already read it, or they are currently reading it, so I was obviously very excited when I took this one to start reading it, so far it’s INCREDIBLE, I know that I still have a lot to read, so my opinion can change or vary, even so, it’s a book so original and magical, I can’t wait to continue with it :).

The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
The first day of senior year:
Everything is about to change. Until this moment, Sal has always been certain of his place with his adoptive gay father and their loving Mexican-American family. But now his own history unexpectedly haunts him, and life-altering events force him and his best friend, Samantha, to confront issues of faith, loss, and grief.
Suddenly Sal is throwing punches, questioning everything, and discovering that he no longer knows who he really is—but if Sal’s not who he thought he was, who is he?
Every time I think about this book I feel that it has left me a very warm feeling inside me, I’ve loved! it and I really hope everyone can give it a try at some point, the writing style is beautiful, and the plot touches super important issues that are worth being read, surely will leave you something.
I’ll leave you my REVIEW HERE, in case you want to know more about it!

Our Own Private Universe by Robin Talley
Fifteen-year-old Aki Simon has a theory. And it’s mostly about sex.
No, it isn’t that kind of theory. Aki already knows she’s bisexual—even if, until now, it’s mostly been in the hypothetical sense. Aki has dated only guys so far, and her best friend, Lori, is the only person who knows she likes girls, too.
Actually, Aki’s theory is that she’s got only one shot at living an interesting life—and that means she’s got to stop sitting around and thinking so much. It’s time for her to actually do something. Or at least try.
So when Aki and Lori set off on a church youth-group trip to a small Mexican town for the summer and Aki meets Christa—slightly older, far more experienced—it seems her theory is prime for the testing.
But it’s not going to be easy. For one thing, how exactly do two girls have sex, anyway? And more important, how can you tell if you’re in love? It’s going to be a summer of testing theories—and the result may just be love.
This is one of those books that besides having an interesting synopsis has a beautiful cover, which has made me want to read it even more !, I hope the contents of the book do justice to that lovely cover. I hope to find a story that will be catching, funny and full of meaning, or at least that’s what I hope, I’ll see 🙂
The Inexplicable Logic of my Life grabbed me first by the awesome cover and title…and the blurb drew me in. I love a book that leaves me with a warm feeling.
